Mia and Aliza chat about the upcoming astrology of 2020, and if there are any consistent astrological themes across Presidents (hint, there are!). They also discuss why it's so important to not dismiss people just based on astrology — people have complex, 360º charts. At the end of the day, astrology is language that helps offers substance and understanding. 

Aliza Kelly interviews numerologist, mystic, and occultist Remington Donovan. Aliza and Remington — friends prior to this recording — haven't seen each other for several months, and pick up their banter for the first time while on the microphones. Remington introduces himself and his long-standing esoteric practice, discussing how (and why) numerology became his gateway into broader mystical teachings. 

Aliza and Remington discuss his (EARLY!) daily card for Instagram, along with his personal four-card spread (fire, water, earth, and air), which offers insight on the day ahead. They get into a detailed conversation about the astrological correspondences associated with some of the most important decks: the Rider Waite Smith, the Thoth, and the Hermetic Tarot of the Golden Dawn Deck. The two discuss whether you need to be gifted your first tarot deck (YOU DON'T!) and how all Remington's work feed backs into ceremonial magick. 

Later, at 38:00, Aliza and Remington discuss the role of crystals as sacred objects. Aliza is slightly wary of crystals, though Remington does have a pretty remarkable collection of gems on view at his apartment in Los Angeles. We discuss how every object can, fundamentally, be sacred — and this work, in and of itself, is a portal to healing. 

At 48:00, Remington and Aliza discuss the symbiotic nature of client-healer, and how clients are healing their healers in the same way healers are inspiring clients. There are no coincidences: These paths converge for a reason. Finally, the two close their conversation by exploring the amazing magic of mysticism — when you truly care about this work, you truly never lose your sense of wonder. It's pure magick.

Aliza Kelly interviews occult studies expert Mitch Horowitz. The conversation starts off with an observation of Mitch's Misfits shirt — one of Aliza's favorite bands — and a discuss of Glenn Danzig's appreciation of "the left hand path." Mitch, also, walks on the "left hand" path, which he describes as "a belief that an individual's own sense of creativity, affirmation, and self-expression are the holiest most sacred expression of life." We define Mitch's practices from "humanism," and why the turbulent times of today are generating extraordinary energy. We discuss the collective consciousness and how research has reflected that we can preemptively feel events (such as September 11) on a macro scale. Later, we talk about why skeptics are a waste of energy (really) and why scientists who reject paranormal and ESP research are truly in the wrong. 

At 27:00, Mitch discuss "Mind Metaphysics." Mitch believes that thoughts are causative and we have the capacity to "select" different experiences which he outlines in his work, The Miracle Club. Aliza and Mitch discuss that "manifestation" doesn't happen overnight but requires repetition and true awareness. 

At 36:00, Mitch discusses dawn as the most difficult time of day for those who are suffering from depression or grief. The veil between one space and another is thin during this time, but also extraordinarily ripe for magickal work. Aliza makes a connection with this philosophy and astrology, noting that the time of dawn is captured in the 12th House — the most psychic and metaphysical domain within the chart. The 12th and 8th Houses are quite misunderstood domains, but it's in the physical houses (such as the 6th House) where we exercise the mystical properties.

Finally, 54:00 we discuss Mitch's book The Power of Sex Transmutation, and how the concept of "sex magick" is truly just a tool to redirect sexual desire into energy.

Aliza Kelly interview Tech and Creativity YouTuber Sara Dietschy about how she built her business. Born in Texas, Sara has always been a self-proclaimed "gear-head," who built her YouTube channel from necessity. As she became increasingly disillusioned by her path, Sara made the bold decision, choosing chaos over comfort. Sara's manifestation efforts worked, and for the past several years, she's been on the fast-track to creative autonomy.
