Marni’s Story

From the time I was three years old, I knew my world was different. I remember hearing a clear inner voice say, “If you tell an adult, they will take it away.” So, I didn’t. Instead, I quietly learned to listen—observing energy, sensing emotion beneath words, and developing a deep, intuitive understanding of the unseen.

For years, I practiced in private, refining my gifts in my own way and on my own timeline. What began as a quiet inner knowing gradually became a grounded, embodied skill—one I would eventually choose to share when I felt safe enough to stand fully in my voice and power.

This path has not been without depth or challenge. I have done extensive personal work to move through childhood sexual trauma, ADHD, addiction, and PTSD. That lived experience shapes the way I shows up today—grounded, discerning, and deeply attuned to both the resilience and complexity within others.

Today, I work as an intuitive energy reader, psychic, health and wellness coach and Reiki Master, known for my ability to read the subtle layers people carry. I tune into energetic patterns, emotional imprints, and underlying themes that shape a person’s experience. My work often reveals what someone has been holding onto, the deeper “medicine” or strengths they walk with, and the core wounds or patterns ready to be seen and shifted.

My approach is direct, perceptive, and deeply present—blending intuition with lived experience. Clients often describe my sessions as clarifying, grounding, and unexpectedly accurate, offering both insight and a sense of being truly seen.

My work is ultimately about helping people reconnect to themselves—clearing what no longer serves and strengthening the parts of them that are ready to rise.

Acclaimed as a Buddhist monk for the modern times by a growing band of admirers, Bhante Saranapala has earned an enviable reputation as a public speaker and a meditation teacher par excellence. Within a short period of time, his scholarly lectures expounding the Teaching of the Buddha and mindfulness and Vipassana meditation began to attract the attention of the university academic circles and the Inter-faith community of Canada. Bhante Saranapala soon became a popular guest speaker at many a prestigious parley. In 2004, he was invited to address the parliamentarians in Ottawa. In 2005 September, he was accorded the honor of officiating on behalf of all religious denominations at the induction ceremonies connected with the Order of Ontario Awards in the Ontario Legislature.

Bhante Saranapala is a recipient of Spirit Award from the Government of Ontario for his humanitarian services. In 2017 and 2018, the Government of Canada has recognized his mindfulness meditation sessions with the Canadian police and spiritual services to the different communities across Canada by granting him “Canada 150 Medal and Sesquicentennial Community Award” and “The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.” He has conducted meditation retreats to the City Counselors in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, the Peel Region and the Toronto District School Board Principals. Coming Full Circle: The “Legary” Legacy of Video King & Returning to Transcona

In this heartfelt episode of Spiritual Sparkle – Amplify The Consciousness, I share a deeply personal journey back to where my entrepreneurial roots began.

Long before I became Tan The Intuitive, I was a young girl growing up in my family's business, Video King. My parents, Ken and Bev Legary, built one of Manitoba's largest independent video distribution companies, supplying over 100 rural communities with VHS and Beta movies. From wrapping movies in the back office on Day Street in Transcona to managing my own Video King store after high school, those years shaped who I am today.

Returning to the Transcona Biz Market feels like coming home. It's more than an event—it's a full-circle moment where my family's legacy of community, service, and entrepreneurship meets my purpose of helping others through intuitive guidance, energy healing, and soul connection.

Roman was featured in the acclaimed documentary The Sacred Science, documenting cross-cultural healing work in the Amazon. He is also the international bestselling author of Beyond Ayahuasca: Unlocking the Evolutionary Science of Indigenous Amazonian Wisdom, with proceeds supporting the Yahua people's ancestral school and cultural initiatives.

What began as a journey into the land of Cooks Creek, Mb quickly became a profound journey within. Fear arrived in many forms, especially through the presence of ticks, creating uncertainty and challenging her trust in the environment around her.
