| 17.01 Tree of Life | 17 Jan 2025 | 00:57:49 | |
We’re gliding into this new Season 17 …. With a velvety soft transition, a bath full of good, not only to seduce you but also to show you that this year is a year in which anything is possible! This time no bombastic start because it would be less appropriate; violence and excessive events in abundance on this planet. I have chosen peace. And let us continue to build on the basis of our good relationship, good taste, desire for positivity and inspiration that we eat from the ‘Tree of Life’; with the emphasis on a spiritual approach that will do us good. The theme is therefore: with only a hunger for knowledge, humanity will not make it. The balance between knowledge and the spiritual is what enriches and makes us strong, what we need so much now. Great to make a show again! And … to welcome so many different artists! After twenty years of Spacemusic, nothing seems to have changed in this respect; the flow of musical energy does a person good and will also inspire many in this new decade. A small look back at the past, mixed with music from today. For example, you hear a 30-year-old release, re-released, that really came to life after throwing a party in 1994, in a room full of stoned people who were tripping on ‘Atmospherics’, the unforgettable album by James Bernard. I’m not exaggerating if it triggered my ‘ambient’ existence at the time. Show 17.02 features: James Bernard, James Bright, Lasse Tapio Junnila, Memory Scale, Afterlife, Jacek Doroszenko, KapTep, Brannan Lane, Orghanon, Metric System 1981, Kalte, Brian Mulder. | Sessions | Breathworks | 28 Feb 2025 | 00:49:33
SESSIONS 02 - Breathworks Life is like a balance, sometimes one thing happens, then another. As humans we feel best when things are in balance but this is not always easy. I think we all know that! The most important tool we all have is breathing. In times of stress we breathe differently, often high and uncomfortable. In times of joy this is easier and feels much better. The deeper we breathe, the better it is and the easier it is to achieve and maintain balance. Example: What if you wake up at night and start to worry or feel restless? And if you notice that your breathing is short, high and unpleasant, you can do something about it. In this episode of Sessions I will focus on our breathing and the music of course. How Breathworks and Music really works! In today’s show, a true soundtrack linked to health, for both body and mind. For those ambient moments, hours, days, for a way of life that fits what you feel, see and experience. Looking back in time, remembering what it was like as a child, what we dreamed, how we played, what we liked back then. As we get older, I think we do this more and more often. Sometimes to check if we are still who we are, if we are still on track. During our younger years, we actually already know what we really like! And this can help understand how we became afterwards. Or are there perhaps still unfulfilled dreams and wishes? In this episode I take you on a journey through time and music, with a calmness around us that is quite unique in 2025. Just look at the world at the moment … do you think that is reality? What is being poured out on us, that it is human and good for us? Time to recognize gaps and expand our awareness. There is no clear path sometimes when it comes to health. Symptoms can be quite difficult to trace back to the cause. In my case we still haven’t become much wiser, except that painful spots have persisted for a few months now. In this show I focus on a shift from darkness to light. I pray for better times and today’s magical mix is very supportive. I hope it will do you good too, enjoy! Even though it sometimes seems like a circus out there … (which it essentially is) … in all that chaos there is still room for beauty, if you only want to see, hear and feel it. A journey that you can start today! Or if you are already on your way, you can deepen it. I reflect on my health and what I do not see but is definitely there: forces that can influence us humans, if we are willing to stand up to them. Framed with beautiful sounds from very prominent artists! Happy Easter / Kaló Páscha! Starring: Dicabor, Blue is Nine, State Azure, Eclektic, BinJa, Odysmod, Daniel Coppens, Clocolan, The Choir, Tepon. | Sessions | Land and Sea | 31 May 2025 | 00:40:08
Land anchors us. It holds our roots, our homes, our histories. It’s where we plant seeds, build dreams, and trace the paths of those who came before. The sea, in contrast, calls us away. It whispers of freedom, of discovery, of what lies beyond the horizon. It invites us to drift, to dive, to dare. Waves wash away certainty and offer the thrill of the unknown. Strip away the noise of modern life, and what remains is simple and profound: land and sea. Soil and salt. The ground we claim, and the water that won’t be tamed. They are not just places. They are parts of us. In the end, everything returns to this: where we stand, and where we are drawn. Land and Sea. The eternal balance of belonging and becoming. Today’s Sessions podcast episode is blending the richness of nature with the mysteries of the ocean. It explores how both realms shape culture, survival, and imagination. The contrast between solid ground and fluid waters creates a dynamic backdrop for storytelling. This theme invites listeners to reflect on the deep connection between humanity and the natural world. | 17.06 One World | 15 Jun 2025 | 01:03:40
The ocean holds a vast, quiet power — not just in its tides and storms, but in its ability to connect us. Beneath its surface lies a deep, ancient memory that transcends borders, species, and time. The same salt flows through our blood that fills its waves. It carries the winds, feeds the clouds, and touches every shore, linking distant lives in a rhythm older than language. But the ocean is just one part of a greater whole — this living planet we call home — our world — a system of delicate balance, where water, soil, air, and life all depend on each other. The Earth tells one continuous story: we are all part of something larger. To care for the ocean is to care for the planet. To care for the planet is to care for ourselves — and for each other. Soundtrack for today’s show is performed by: Roberto Sol, Nenad J. & M.Sol, State Azure, David Helpling & Eric Taylor, Gary B, NLE & Kiphi, DICABOR, BinJa, Alpha Wave Movement, Afterlife, Andrew Lozano, Dave Luxton. | Sessions | Back to Nature | 30 Jun 2025 | 00:41:08
We’re constantly hit with bad news—wars, chaos, and dumb decisions by people in power. It’s easy to feel hopeless, anxious, or angry. But here’s the truth: all that noise has nothing to do with who we really are as humans. We’re not made for nonstop scrolling or living in fear. We’re made for connection, movement, fresh air—and peace. That’s why nature, especially the sea, can be so powerful. The sound of waves, the open sky, the feeling of sand under your feet—it resets your mind and reminds you what actually matters. Even if you’re not near the ocean, any time in nature helps. A quiet walk, the rustle of leaves, or sunlight on your face can calm your nervous system and clear your head. Just 20 minutes outside can shift your mood completely. Stepping away from screens and the 24/7 news cycle isn’t ignoring the world—it’s protecting your mind. You are not the headlines. You are not the chaos. You are human—meant to breathe, feel, and live fully. So unplug. Go outside. Let the sea, the trees, or the sky remind you that peace is real—and it’s still yours, anytime you choose it. Add to that today’s music and you’re ready to heal! | 17.08 Time Shift | 31 Aug 2025 | 01:04:00
When a beat falls just a little early or lingers a touch too long, we feel it instantly. A song that drags can make us restless; a rhythm that races can lift our heartbeat. Certain sounds trigger the imagination, creativity flows and dreams are made. Musicians know this secret and play with it, bending time to stir emotion. That sensitivity is hidden in all of us—it’s why a single offbeat can make us smile, shiver, or even dance. This is why the Spacemusic podcast feels so powerful—it slows time, smooths the rush of daily life, and restores balance. Letting its soundscapes wash over you can heal your sense of rhythm and quietly recharge your inner battery. Wanna learn more?.. Listen to music by Gold Lounge, DivKid, Federico Mosconi ft. Barbara De Dominicis, Field Lines Cartographer, Woob Mono, Martin Stürtzer, Paul Beaudoin, Mike Beever, Xu, Odysmod. Easy going tracks, melodic, ambient, deep and warm with a focus on the Light. | 17.09 The Netherlands | 21 Sep 2025 | 01:07:15
This September, I return to the Hoeksche Waard, the countryside where my childhood unfolded between wide skies, endless dikes, and fields that seemed to stretch forever. It was here that I first learned to listen—to the wind brushing through tall grasses, to the creak of bicycles on narrow roads, to the soft chorus of birds at dawn. Coming back now, I see a land that has changed. Farms feel more modern, villages are busier, and even the quiet has a different texture. The Hoeksche Waard will always be the space of my childhood, but it is also the space of my renewal. By blending memory with today’s sounds, I’ve compiled music by artists that feels both rooted and forward-looking. Change doesn’t unsettle me—it fuels me. As long as I can weave these textures into something magical, I know I will not just endure, but thrive. Featuring: Thomas Lemmer & Sinatic, Drift, Mike Beever, Sebby Kowal, Lars Leonhard, Polaroid Notes, EFSS, UnitrΔ_Δudio, Nathan Speir, Sverre Knut Johansen, David Helpling, James Bernard, Terminus Void, Elders, Autistici, Russ Young, Nico Less. To those of you who have been listening, supporting, and believing in this journey—thank you. Your encouragement keeps the music alive and the stories flowing. If you haven’t yet, I invite you to join in supporting the show. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps me keep creating a space where sound and imagination meet. Between songs, reflections flow — on roads once traveled, loves once lost, and futures never planned. The weather shifts like mood swings — sunlight breaking through rain, echoing the unpredictable rhythm of life itself. Spacemusic 17.10 is a show for dreamers, wanderers, and anyone who’s ever felt the pull of a familiar skyline on the horizon. | 17.11 Singularity | 21 Nov 2025 | 00:58:30
Today we travel to a point where innovation accelerates beyond expectation, where artificial intelligence and human imagination converge. The Singularity isn’t a storm of machines rising above us—it’s a horizon of possibility shaped by our choices, our creativity, and our humanity. Right now, the world can feel strange—like we’re drifting into something unfamiliar, almost becoming less human in the rush of automation and constant connection. It’s easy to feel lost in the noise, to wonder where our place is amid the algorithms and data streams. But this moment is exactly when our individuality matters most. In this episode, the soundscape explores the pulse of circuitry and the breath of the human heart. You’ll hear textures born from code, harmonies sculpted by hands, and rhythms that remind us that progress is not about replacing people, but empowering them. Technology can amplify our voices and expand our dreams, but only if we stay present and awake. Featuring: Gleisberg, Binja, oRlawren, Aetopus, KapTep, Afterlife, Mike Beever, Cosmic Cadence, Dicabor, Epigenetics, Recue, Pat Keista, Ludvig Cimbrelius, Umlaut. Our uniqueness is not a glitch in the system—even when the head says no — it’s the system’s greatest strength. Stay human. Stay original. Welcome to Singularity. The final Spacemusic podcast episode of the year is offered as a quiet drift into deep space… “TC curates his most atmospheric selections—super Space Music, super Ambient soundscapes designed to slow time and open wide sonic horizons” The music is given room to breathe, with long passages where sound itself becomes the message. Words are kept intentionally sparse, it’s with warmth and appreciation for the long-running connection between the show and its listeners. The focus remains on the experience of listening, on allowing these expansive soundscapes to carry the audience beyond the everyday and into something more reflective and otherworldly, in subtle Christmassy style. Featuring: Banco de Gaia, Christian Samsara, Aes Dana, KapTep, Formant Value, Cosmic Cadence, Rudy Adrian, Sacred Seeds, Martin Nonstatic, Aural Planet, Le Code & KapTep, Children of the Bong, Giulio Aldinucci, Pangaea Projekt. These recordings represent years of exploration and careful creation — a living library of Ambient and Spacemusic - Season 1-9 — that continues to inspire and comfort listeners around the world and for next generations to come. Rather than a definitive ending, show 17.12 stands as a moment of suspension—an end-of-year pause held in starlight, inviting listeners to linger, reflect, and help ensure the Journey can continue. What a year it has been … war in the headlines, rising prices, constant confusion, worries about health, and an ongoing sense of uncertainty that never quite left us.
