The only part in this series that covers two teams in one episode.  Each team are among the worst teams in our league during the 2023 season, both ended up with 5-9 records. But their QB rooms are necessarily bad but they are completely different scenarios if you're playing in a dynasty league. I break down their teams based on what I would do if I were the owner. Who they should, or shouldn't freeze based on player salaries and other roster situations.

When it  comes to fantasy football,  more is better!

Too many fantasy football owners focus waiver wire and FA pickups on RBs and WRs while neglecting some of the prolific scoring positions, including D/ST and QB. I discuss some of my very own challenges this post season in getting just the right guys on my starting roster. Coming off a landslide victory in week 1 of the playoffs I'm facing the #2 cede with my 9-5 record 4th cede. Deliberating who I'm starting as my QB2 and best team D matchup.   

Episode 16 will be focused targeted on owners of non-playoff teams and how to best begin preparing for the upcoming 2024 season. 

This episode gives you a play-by-play, fly on the wall view of the first 100 drafted players in a redraft league made up of some very good auction drafters. I also basically do a training course in the strategy of my personal team building and how psychology can play a lot in how you draft. Salary Cap drafts and player prices are heavily dependent on sequence of nomination. 

Knowing when to bid and how much to spend is understanding the sequence of bids, the draft patterns that emerge quickly in each individual draft (each draft is unique) and how much I should spend on my targets depending on when they get thrown out in the draft. It's best for your top priorities to come out first, in sequence one after another but it rarely works out that way. This is what complicates a draft and can blow up less experienced auction bidders.

Don't get drunk on the preseason power rankings! In this episode I compare the current QB power rankings with all the hype or should I say, no hype for a few of this weeks to p 10QBs.  The last summer values and media hype of players has a bigger psychological impact on you than you think it does. Stop  being sheep.
