In this episode, Brooke, who is an advocate for interdisciplinary collaboration between PT, OT, RD, and SLP for patient care, educates us to common signs and symptoms for dysphagia status post head and neck cancer treatments, appropriate evidenced-based treatments, as well as the impact of lymphedema and fibrosis on dysphagia. If you work with a patient, or have a loved one, who is currently receiving treatment for a head and neck cancer, then this is the episode to tune into to learn functional strategies, evidence-based treatments for dysphagia status post head and neck cancer and to establish the safest least restrictive and tastiest oral diet.
