Living and Lifestyles: Mansions, Van Life, Off-grid Living, Houses30 Nov 202400:08:52

In today’s episode, I’m talking about something I think about a lot - where we live.
There are so many different ways of living.
Some people dream of mansions with endless rooms, swimming pools, and gyms, while others might prefer something smaller, like a van or an off-grid cabin in the woods.
I explore these options, from the luxurious life of a mansion to the freedom of van life and the challenge of living off the grid.
I dive into what each of these lifestyles could be like - both the highs and the lows - and share why I’m drawn to the simplicity and freedom of van life and off-grid living.
If you’ve ever wondered about how different living spaces could affect your happiness or lifestyle, you’ll enjoy this one.

My Holiday in Rome24 Nov 202400:06:09

Today’s episode is all about my first trip to Rome in September.
I was only there for two days, but I packed in visits to the city’s iconic landmarks, like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Colosseum.
The weather was perfect, and the city felt both familiar and new - lots of old Fiats and beautiful buildings.
But with all the crowds, it was tough to fully enjoy places like the Vatican.
Still, I found some quieter backstreets to relax in, sip coffee, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.I also talk about the amazing food, the friendly Italians, and why I can’t wait to go back for a quieter experience next time.

Old Cars are Better than New Cars05 Nov 202500:07:08

This episode starts with a drive into the mountains: Autumn light, gold leaves, and cool November air smelling of trees and rain. It was lovely.
But the car I was driving had other ideas.
Somewhere between the mountain bends and motorways, I was fighting the machine! The car kept deciding what was “safe” and what wasn’t.
This one’s about control. About how technology that’s meant to help can end up taking over.
If you’ve ever felt nostalgia for something simple, or argued with your own modern car, this episode is for you..

In this episode, I talk about the cold days arriving, the shorter light, and the quiet streets that come with winter.
But I also ask: what if we stopped fighting the season and learned to enjoy it?
This is a calm story about slowing down, finding small joys, and learning to live with the cold, not against it.

How Do Rollercoasters Work?10 Oct 202500:09:31

In this episode, I go to one of Spain’s biggest theme parks for my birthday.
Between the screams, the speed, and the silence before each drop, I start to wonder how these machines really work.
Why don’t they fall off the track? Why do they feel so scary but stay so safe?
It’s a story about design, fear, trust, and how we find excitement in things that could never actually hurt us.
