Introduction to the Slices of Time podcast01 Aug 202400:06:54

In this very first episode of the new podcast on street photography, we explore who I am, why I created this podcast, and how often you can expect an episode.

You can follow me on several social media for updates about the episodes:

The summary of this episode

I begin by discussing the aim of this podcast. I couldn’t find any podcasts about street photography specifically, and I had no place to get answers to my questions. That’s why I decided to get other street photographers into a video call and discuss their work.

The recordings of those conversations will be published in this podcast.

We will discuss various topics, from the big things, like their views, to the little stuff, like whether they prefer to listen to music or not.

So then, who am I? Well, I'm Frederic Paulussen. I’ve been blogging on this website since 2015. In the last few years, I’ve been focusing more on street photography—next to my job as a corporate photographer in Belgium.

As I’m curious to lots of things, this helps me in my search on the streets but also on this podcast.

I’ll release new episodes of the podcast every three weeks. Giving me plenty of time to find interesting guests, record, and make the content as good as possible. But also gives me enough breathing space to avoid getting burned out in this game too quickly.
