Doctor Dolittle and some of his animals are on their way to Africa in part 3 of The Story of Doctor Dolittle. When they get near the equator some of the animals are loving the heat while others are sitting in the shade drinking lemonade. Some animals come to greet them to see if this is the famous Doctor Dolittle finally arriving to help the monkeys and they are happy to see it is. When they land in Africa though the King does not feel the same way about their arrival.

In Doctor Dolittle part two the doctor is very happy helping the animals and does not like to send any away. This starts to cause problems as some of the animals scare the people who bring their pets and all of a sudden there are no more people coming to see him. This means no money to live on and this is a problem. The animals talk about how they can help with this problem.

In The Magic Soap Bubble part 6 Ned, the giant, the princess, and her brother are all tucked in at the castle while they wait for the stepfather, the King, to return. When the King is almost there Ned sends the bluebird off with the golden ring to get help. When the bluebird lands near the King he senses her and she ends up dropping the ring into the moat. The King goes into the castle and things start to happen, how can the bluebird help everyone if she has lost the ring?

Do you like to throw snowballs? Have you had a snowball fight recently? In this story the boys are having a big snowball fight and decide to get a head start on the next day by creating a big pile of snowballs ahead of time. That night it snows and snows and snows and the snowballs get buried until Spring. When Spring comes the snowballs hear someone calling for help but none of them are willing to go out where the sun is to find out who is calling, except Snowball number one.
