Monarda fistulosa, also called Bee Balm, Wild Bergamot, Wild Oregano, Sweet Leaf, and Oswego Tea, is a versatile plant from North America. The leaves, flowers, and stems all carry medicinal actions, including anti-inflammatory, analgesic, diaphoretic, and nervine, among many others. In this video, Ashley will share how she uses this herb from her garden with family and clients and the traditional uses she has gathered from studying the work of Matthew Wood and Tis Mal Crow. This is a plant that not only benefits pollinators but would be a great choice for any medicinal garden.

Making flower garlands is a meditative and devotional practice that brings together elements of nature and spirit. Flower garlands can be used for adorning sacred icons on your altar, as a gift to a friend or teacher, or as an offering or prayer. In this video, I will show you several different threading techniques to give you a perfect garland every time!

You will need the following materials:
 - 15-30 flowers with strong bases
- Upholstery thread
- Medium to thick needle (1/5 sz or larger)
- Sharp scissors
