Dr. Michele Ramien is an academic dermatologist based at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Canada. She has both pediatric and general medical dermatology practices, with a focus on teaching and mentoring the next generations and research interests in eczema management, patient education, and severe cutaneous reactions in children.
Dr. Ramien enjoys volunteer leadership positions as a way to meet colleagues across the country, like-minded and not, who believe that a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals can change and improve dermatology and delivery of care in Canada.

She is an Assistant Professor at Queens University and a Consultant Physician at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Gooderham has been the principal investigator for over 200 clinical trials and she practices with a focus on inflammatory diseases of the skin. She also contributes to several peer-reviewed dermatology publications as an associate editor, reviewer, and has been an author of 205 articles. She enjoys lecturing to global audiences on new therapies for skin diseases.

Dr. Jessica Asgarpour is a Canadian and American board-certified dermatologist. She completed her medical school at the Cumming School of Medicine, in Calgary, Alberta, where she was born and raised. She went on to the University of Alberta for her residency training in dermatology, where she acted as co-chief resident from 2019-2020, and was awarded the Dr. Andrew Lin Dermatology Scholar award. She has also been awarded multiple scholarships to conferences to keep her up-to-date with the ever changing medical literature.
She has published in many peer-reviewed journals, and practices medicine with this same evidence-based approach. She practices medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. When she is not practicing dermatology, she enjoys keeping active and loves to run, spin and hike.

About Dr. Jerry Tan
Dermatologist, Windsor, ON
Dr. Tan received his medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and trained in internal medicine at the University of Toronto and in dermatology at University of British Columbia and University of Michigan. His general dermatology and aesthetic dermatology practices are in Windsor Ontario Canada. He conducts clinical trials research at Windsor Clinical Research, a clinical trials site in dermatology. Aside from industry grants, he has received research funding from the Canadian Dermatology Foundation and the National Institutes of Health Research.
Research focus includes acne, acne scars and rosacea. Additional interests include outcome measurements and informed shared decision making in dermatology.
Dr. Tan chairs the working group on clinical practice guidelines of the Canadian Dermatology Association, the rosacea international consensus group (ROSCO) and the acne core outcomes research network (ACORN). He has been an associate editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the British Journal of Dermatology. Over the past 3 decades, Dr. Tan has authored/co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications.

ABOUT Dr.Marni Wiseman MD FRCPC
Dr. Marni Wiseman began her Dermatology practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2001. In addition to her teaching responsibilities as an Associate Professor and Section Head of Dermatology in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Wiseman is the Medical Director of SKiNWISE DERMATOLOGY where she is involved in a general dermatology practice.
Dr. Wiseman’s areas of interest include psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, acne, and aesthetic dermatology. She actively participates in clinical trials through Wiseman Dermatology Research, where she has participated in over a hundred clinical trials. Dr. Wiseman is a frequent supervisor and mentor for medical students and residents. She has extensively published in areas of inflammatory skin disease, photodermatosis, and cutaneous malignancy.
Her community commitments are extensive and include involvement with the Canadian Dermatology Association as Provincial Director of the National Sun Awareness Program. She is an editor of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, and was the chair of the Skin Cancer Disease Site Group at CancerCare Manitoba for 15 years. Dr. Wiseman does regular outreach skin cancer screening clinics in rural locations of Manitoba, has been featured in many news stories, and regularly presents at meetings and congresses nationally and internationally.

ABOUT Dr.Marni Wiseman MD FRCPC
Dr. Marni Wiseman began her Dermatology practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2001. In addition to her teaching responsibilities as an Associate Professor and Section Head of Dermatology in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Wiseman is the Medical Director of SKiNWISE DERMATOLOGY where she is involved in a general dermatology practice.
Dr. Wiseman’s areas of interest include psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, acne, and aesthetic dermatology. She actively participates in clinical trials through Wiseman Dermatology Research, where she has participated in over a hundred clinical trials. Dr. Wiseman is a frequent supervisor and mentor for medical students and residents. She has extensively published in areas of inflammatory skin disease, photodermatosis, and cutaneous malignancy.
Her community commitments are extensive and include involvement with the Canadian Dermatology Association as Provincial Director of the National Sun Awareness Program. She is an editor of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, and was the chair of the Skin Cancer Disease Site Group at CancerCare Manitoba for 15 years. Dr. Wiseman does regular outreach skin cancer screening clinics in rural locations of Manitoba, has been featured in many news stories, and regularly presents at meetings and congresses nationally and internationally.
