8 mistakes you're making on Instagram (and how to fix 'em TODAY) (EP.121)16 Jun 202500:36:45

You’re showing up. You’re posting. But it’s just not working.

Wanna know why? It’s probably not that you suck or that people don't like you —it’s that your strategy is wonky donkey. In this episode, I’m walking you through 8 of the most common mistakes I see (and the super simple ways to fix them TODAY).

This isn’t about more hacks or trends. This is about the foundations of a strategy that actually works—and one that doesn’t burn you out in the process.

We’re talking:

  • Why “posting 3x a week” is BS
  • The difference between momentum posts and dead-end posts (this alone will change your content forever)
  • Why that post you spent hours designing still isn’t getting seen—and what to focus on instead
  • How to set real, revenue-linked targets instead of chasing likes and follows

If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels, start posting smarter, and finally create content that brings in leads and sales… you’re gonna love this one.

And if you want my step-by-step system for making content creation lightning fast and wildly effective? You need to get inside Batched Bootcamp.

It’s only $47 and it comes with everything you need—plug-and-play content frameworks, AI prompts, templates, caption formulas, and your ticket to our next live “get-it-done” round.

You hate Instagram. I love it. Here’s 5 reasons why (and how to fall back in love with posting) (EP.120)10 Jun 202500:26:28

Let me paint a picture of what I see often.

Instagram feels like a relentless chore?

Half the time, you sit there staring at your screen, wondering what to say, what to post, and whether it’s even worth it anymore.

And the other half of the time, you post but feel like you're getting crickets... and you want to make your posts pop off but... it doesn't feel like that in reality.

I get it. But in this episode, I’m giving you a totally different perspective—because I actually love Instagram. And I’m going to walk you through exactly why - both from a mindset and a tactical perspective (plus what you can do if you’re totally over it - to actually start enjoying posting again and feel like you're getting more traction on Instagram).

Here's some of that I'm speaking to:

  • The real reason your posts aren’t working (hint: it’s not you, it’s your strategy)
  • How I batch months of content in a fraction of the time
  • What actually matters more than likes (this one might set you free)
  • How to post faster, better, and with way less overthinking
  • Why it’s not just Instagram—your whole business model might need a rethink

If you’ve been tying your self-worth to your engagement, comparing yourself to giant creators with teams of 17, or just want to crawl into a hole instead of posting every time you open the app… this episode is your permission slip to do things differently.

And if you want to make it even easier on yourself? Join me for Batched Bootcamp. It’s my $47 grab-and-go guide that’s jam-packed with AI prompts, plug-and-play content calendars, reel templates, and the exact workflow I use to post lightning fast (and still get results). You’ll also get a free ticket to the next live round where we do it all together

8 uncommon things I did to grow my business in the early days (Ep.24)05 Sep 202300:23:57

Today on the podcast I'm talking about 8 uncommon things I did in the early days of growing my business (that most people won't do) and I'm talking about this as I'm feeling reflective about the growth that we've accomplished in my life coaching brand.

We're in the midst right now of launching my signature program, The Reset for the final time ever so that I can create more spaciousness in my life moving forward - which I'm thrilled about, and this morning I checked our insights on Instagram and we're tracking with reaching 230k accounts in the last month, as well as recently hitting the 1 million downloads mark on the podcast. Our Pinterest also continues to gather views for our website and posts (even though I haven't been active there in almost a year) - we're sitting at 213k monthly views and all we've published there is repeating posts from years ago.

So how did I do it?

And this is what I want to address today. Not by just posting on Instagram 3 x per week.

It's easy to look at someone who has a larger account and see their success and think that's all it takes, but full disclosure - in the start it might be a fair whack of work!

So in today's episode I talk to you about 8 of the things I did in the early days of my business to set up the foundations that we have today.

I hope you find it incredibly helpful and please reach out to me in the DM's at @launcheasylife if you have any questions at all (love when y'all reach out).

What type of product should you create first in your online business? (Ep.23)28 Aug 202300:14:05

If you're working in health and wellness in any capacity (life coach, dietician, naturopath, acupuncturist - any profession that focuses on physical, emotional or spiritual wellbeing and health) - you've probably been trained to offer single sessions to frow your business, and if you've been following me for a while you know that's absolutely not the approach I recommend.

Why? Because you've probably created your business so that... in essence, you could make a living working more flexible and probably part-time hours, and don't want to sacrifice income in order to have that... and even if you're just starting out and feeling like you just want to make some money - I guarantee that deep down, you don't want to make chump change.

Single sessions appear great on the outside - like OMG I'm earning $120 per hour, but when it boils down - you're likely only going to be keeping 50% of that as take-home pay (at best) and then you'll probably spend more than double that time doing tasks that are necessary for growth, prospecting and admin - like bookkeeping, handling enquiries, professional development, website edits, social media etc.

That means that when all is said and done, you'll probably walk away with an income that is more like $30 per hour - and only that amount if you're full.

So... you've probably spied the internet and maybe searched things like 'passive income ideas for naturopaths' and wondering what product do you create next? Do you stick with 1:1 sessions (and how do you make that more sustainable? Do you create an online course? Or do you create a $27 ebook or collection of resources? In this episode, I'll walk you through which product you'll likely want to create and when the right time is to create each different type of product in your business.

If this episode is helpful, make sure you subscribe and make sure you also come and follow me @launcheasylife on Instagram.

Which first? Grow your audience or build your signature program? (Ep.22)21 Aug 202300:17:40

When people reach out to me in the DM's of Instagram, one of the biggest questions I'm asked (especially about Launch Easy Life and when the right time to join us) - it's - I'm just starting out - should I continue to build my audience for a while longer? Or should I create my program?

And my opinion might not be what everyone else says but I'm generally in the camp of - you can start creating your program, wherever you are, and in today's episode I'm telling you some major reasons why that's the smartest approach.

You'll learn:

  1. Why launching first is the smarter option
  2. Why not launching could be the reason your online course
  3. What happened when my audience skyrocketed to 10k email subscribers and 20k Instagram followers (and why this is a major reason why you'd want to launch now)
  4. How to detach yourself from whether or not people join your program
  5. My 'magic' email subscriber number (and why)

I know you'll LOVE this episode and walk away with some major clarity on whether you should be focusing on growing your audience or building out your signature program. If you do love this episode - come and let me know over at @launcheasylife

Online Course vs Membership. Which should you choose? (Ep.21)14 Aug 202300:29:46

Since I've had my business, I've run 3 memberships - 2 of which lasted a year before I closed them and pivoted elsewhere, and one that is still running to this day.

In today's podcast episode, I'm talking about my experience of running both online courses and memberships and 7 lessons (many unexpected) that I learned from each, as well as my preference and considerations for you if you're tossing up between running both.

The 5 best online business books I've read (Ep.19)31 Jul 202300:13:41

Something that I absolutely used to love doing was listening to audiobooks a few years ago while I drove to my part-time corproate gig in Marketing - it used to be an hour drive there and another hour drive back and I'd listen to audiobooks - sometimes fiction, sometimes business books to help myself get into the zone of 'thinking' and then on the way back I'd listen to music and my playlists.

But because the drive was such a decent chunk, I'd get through a full audiobook every two weeks or so. This year, I'm getting back into that but it's as I prioritise my health and wellness - I recently joined a gym and so I'm listening to audiobooks while I workout or when I'm walking or on the treadmill.

Of all the books I've read, here is a bit of an eclectic mix of my top 5. Tune into the podcast to learn more about what they're about and when on your business journey I recommend listening to each one.

7 reasons I always show my price on my website (Ep.18)24 Jul 202300:19:17

There's several different camps when it comes to whether or not to show your price on your sales page, particularly if what you're offering is a 1:1 package - one big school of thought is to get people to apply to work with you and then reveal the price on the sales call.

This is not my strategy. I always show my price on my website, and in today's podcast I'm sharing 5 reasons I always show my price on my website.

We're talking about:

  • Your own money blocks and why it's important to work on that
  • How to have much better sales calls (and a secret tip to handling objections like a pro)
  • How to build trust with your client (before you've even spoken to them)

Swipe my Easy Instagram Story Ideas (Ep.17)17 Jul 202300:25:38

I remember when Instagram Stories first came out and the overarching thought in my mind was 'uggghhh, another thing I 'should' be doing on Instagram' and it felt like this unnecessary obligation and almost like Instagram was this black hole of time-sucking activities. Ha!

Since that point, I've come to LOVE Instagram Stories! They are one of my favourite functions of the Instagram App and one of the best ways to really build trust, authority and most importantly conversions, so if you aren't using them, you're feeling confused about what to post on Instagram stories or generally feeling like a duck out of water on the platform, this episode is going to help you get into the flow of Instagram stories in a much easier way with this flow and it's something I used all the time in my life coaching business.

3 things you need before running Facebook Ads (Ep.16)10 Jul 202300:15:46

Facebook and Instagram ads are one of the biggest game changers for your business and I'll let you know - one of the things our clients have the most success with in the Well Conceived MastermindThere's a big misconception that Facebook and Instagram ad costs are skyrocketing, and the truth is that while maybe that's true for business coaching etc, it's not what I've seen at all for people who work in health and wellness and serve the general front end consumer (e.g. Molly who is going through Menopause or Sandy who has PCOS). In fact, this is where I feel it can be great to have a business that markets to front-end consumers - because you still have the ability to get leads at a really cost-effective price, and it also means that it's going to take away some of the heavy lifting on converting people into email subscribers and then clients/members in your programs. So, how do you know if you're ready for Facebook Ads? We talk in this episode about 3 things you need before running Facebook Ads and why they're so important (hint: if you don't do these it will be like putting lipstick on a pig!)

Tips for working on your business during school holidays (Ep.15)03 Jul 202300:39:07

I feel like this is the podcast that every mama needs but that nobody really talks about - how to get work done during school holidays when you're running your own business.

Let's not pretend that it's easy to keep a business running when you're looking after small children during school holidays, especially if in your neck of the woods you're coming up to the big mama holidays. It's f*cking hard.

To be honest, I've never known any different than to build my business around my girls - I first started the podcast when Chloe was a year old and I was also working part-time as a Marketing Consultant for an elite Girls' School.

That doesn't mean I haven't felt resentment and like I've had a rope tied around my waist as I've tried to implement and create something, have a creative outlet, and feel like there has been something more to my life - other than to be a mother.

What I've learned since then though is that mom guilt serves nobody - not yourself and not your children and I've made strides in navigating school holidays with my children, as well as generally running a business alongside my kids.

In today's podcast, I share:

  1. How I structure my year and workload around school holidays and what that looks like
  2. The big 4 mindset reframes that have helped me feel good about working alongside parenting
  3. A BUNCH of practical tips for getting work done during school holidays

This is just one of the articles I shared in the Well Conceived Mastermind monthly magazine, Peace + Profit - if you'd like to know more and jump on the waitlist for the Mastermind (exclusively for women who run health and wellness businesses) then click here.

Do you need more qualifications or more business support? How to tell. (Ep.14)26 Jun 202300:13:46

If I've ever been asked a question or seen it in our free Facebook Group for health and wellness service providers, it's this:

Do I need business support, or do I need to get more qualified?

17 reasons why an online course will set you free (Ep.12)12 Jun 202300:30:01

Today on the podcast I'm sharing with you 17 reasons why an online course will set you free (and possibly be the most rewarding and beneficial step you take in your business).Even if you aren't sure whether an online course is right for your business model or expertise, (ahem... speaking to all of you who think the only way you can run your business is by doing seeing people individually) you're going to discover how creating and delivering an online course can not only help your clients more, but also help you create more revenue, more freedom and more impact.Still to this day the best (on all levels) stage of my business has been the time when I created and sold one single online course - but pulled levers within that to help provide folks with additional support and add more cash flow behind the scenes.Listen in to this episode and make sure you're subscribed to Well Conceived Business - especially over the next few episodes as we talk all things Online Courses and Signature Programs.

The wrong way to launch a program or service (Ep.11)05 Jun 202300:29:39

Today's podcast is for anyone who has already launched their online course or signature program, or for anyone who wants to launch but isn't there yet. I'm diving into 11 mistakes you might be making with your online course launches and what you really need to focus on in order to make more sales, make creating your assets faster, and ensure you're launching your online course in the right way.Just one note before you listen though: perfection is a unicorn: if doesn't exist (and I've made maaaannyyy of these mistakes along the way) - so the point is never to make things perfect before you get started, the right way to launch or do anything in your online business is to do it, rather than get paralysed and never get started because you're trying to do it all, and trying to do it all perfectly. So many of us are running our online businesses in between naptimes, 9 - 5s and patient consults - so done is always going to be better than perfect.Listen in and let me know what you think!

6 Figures in 6 Hours per Week (What I Did and How You Can Do It Too) (Ep.03)24 Apr 202300:22:56

I had to make a choice. Quit my business, or continue on in a radically different way.

All I could give to my business was 6 hours per week (that also included life admin, me time… and didn’t include the time we’d take off for school holidays).

I chose the latter, but that required massively overhauling the way I did online business.

In this episode I talk about:

  • How I simplified my business to make it work (and how that ended up making it way more successful)
  • How some of my weaknesses became my secret strengths (and why they still are)
  • The big gulp of outsourcing
  • The intentional things I gave up in order to grow my business in such a short number of hours
  • The advice I ignored along the way.

That one time... when I quit my online business (Ep.02)24 Apr 202300:39:58

In November 2018 I quit my online business.

It was shortly after Ross and Olivia tag teamed in hospital EVERY weekend in September.

I had just started a new part time role that was an hour drive away and needed to also juggle our other daughter… And the business. And 1836 other things.

I had to cancel one of our live group coaching calls from Olivia’s hospital bed… And then remember getting one of those Zoom notifications that someone had still showed up to the call, so I had to quickly jump on and explain to this fertility warrior that I wasn’t going to be able to do that week’s call while she was beside me with an oxygen tube.

So hard.

My business felt impossible.

I’d only started as a business 9 months ago (although I had the blog and podcast before that) and it had been at least six months of HUSTLE.

I tried lots of packages. 1:1 coaching, single sessions, ebooks, group coaching….

I tried (and failed) to be everywhere.

It felt messy and chaotic and a lot of DOING.

And I got some $$$ into the door but not enough to pay myself (actually not enough to even pay myself back for what I had invested in logo’s and business coaches etc).

And then… one day, I decided to unquit my business and just quit the strategy I’d been using up until now.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • What finally made my business 10x easier (and more profitable)
  • How life can feel when you’re up to your eyeballs in everything
  • What it felt like to unquit, and what changed in my business to allow me to run it better, in less hours.

Is your business addicted to the dopamine of doing more? (Ep.111)02 Apr 202500:15:31

Do you keep pivoting, launching new offers, changing your niche or tinkering with your business model… but deep down know it’s just keeping you busy, not actually profitable.

Stop.

It's trashing your profit and your growth.

When I work with clients, sometimes they'll come into the space feeling 'itchy' or like there is something radical to add or change in their business - and oftentimes when that occurs - rather than creating big (burnout-inducing) shifts, we create alignment and revenue through simplification.

So, this episode is your invitation to pause for the sake of your profitability.

  • Here's what to expect in this episode:
  • The 3 levels of scaling a peaceful + profitable business
  • How I intentionally grew to multi-six figures on just 16 hours/week
  • Why simplifying your offer suite often leads to MORE revenue, not less
  • What “Peace + Profit Decisions” look like in real time—and how to make them
  • The sneaky dopamine hits that are keeping you stuck

Whether you’re at 6 figures and feeling stretched, or on the edge of overcomplicating your funnel for the sake of “doing more”—this episode will help you come back to calm, focus and profit. You don’t need 17 new offers. You need to refine what’s already working.

What buyers want in 2025 (How to sell your group program, mastermind or online course) (Ep.110)25 Mar 202500:18:54

The online course and group program landscape is shifting—fast.

If your sales page still highlights "self-study," "go at your own pace," or the number of modules and hours of content… you might be unknowingly turning buyers away.

Because here’s the truth: in 2025, buyers don’t want more information—they want transformation, support, and accountability.

Inside this episode, you’ll learn:

  • The biggest sales page mistake that could be tanking your conversions
  • What the market actually wants from online courses, masterminds, and group programs right now
  • How subtle shifts in your language (like swapping "self-study" for "guided support") can double your sales
  • Why the “DIY course era” is over—and what to offer instead
  • The easiest way to test your messaging before you launch

If your last launch didn’t hit the numbers you wanted, this episode will give you actionable insights to help you tweak, refine, and sell with confidence in 2025.

Hard things I've done in business that have made me more successful (Ep.109)19 Mar 202500:32:05

It’s so easy (and common) to think that when you grow your business to a particular revenue level, everything becomes easier—or that business should always feel easier.

The longer I run my own business, and the longer I support other business owners at the deepest level, I see that your level of success in business is a direct reflection of the level of discomfort you can navigate and hold, while remaining regulated and steady.

And I can directly tie my success in business to many of the hard decisions I’ve made over the years.

Such as... hiring a business coach for $4,000 on just an 8-week package as I started my business and right off the back of a failed launch—which then led to a program that made $150,000 across the following 18 months while I worked super part-time hours.

Or... taking a pay cut early last year in order to reinvest in growth via email list building and joining a high-level mastermind... which then later led to a six-figure month and my best-ever sales year to date.

Want to know more of the hard decisions I’ve made in business that I believe have directly been tied to my success? THIS is what I’m sharing in today’s episode with the hope that it inspires you to believe in yourself and your success and take a chance on yourself.

$250k in 20 hours per week within 1 year. Here's what I'd tell you to do (Ep.108)11 Mar 202500:16:10

What would it take to scale your business to $250K in revenue while working just 20 hours per week?

If you came to me for a strategy audit with this goal, here’s exactly what I’d tell you to do.

Inside this episode, I’m breaking down the six key steps you need to take to hit this revenue goal—without working yourself into burnout.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

✔️ The biggest decision you need to make before setting your revenue goal

✔️ Why your signature offer is everything—and why most people overcomplicate their product suite

✔️ How to reverse engineer your numbers so you know exactly how many leads and sales you need

✔️ The reason most launches fail (hint: it’s not your product, it’s your lead strategy)

✔️ The power of iterating, launching, and refining—instead of constantly chasing new offers

✔️ Why selling isn’t just posting on Instagram—and what you actually need to do to close sales

If you’re tired of throwing spaghetti at the wall, running in circles with too many offers, or not seeing the revenue growth you want, this episode is a must-listen.

I'm in my low ticket era (and mildly terrified) (Ep.107)06 Mar 202500:26:50

I’ve officially entered my low ticket era... and honestly? I’m mildly terrified. 😅

This shift has been a long time coming, and in this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of my thought process, why I waited over a year before making this move, and the lessons I’ve learned from experimenting with low-ticket offers in my previous business.

Inside, I break down:

  • Why I decided to cap the Peace and Profit Mastermind (for now) and shift my focus to feeder funnels.
  • The strategy behind low-ticket offers and how they should fit into your business model.
  • The biggest risks (and rewards) of introducing low-ticket products—and why they can either skyrocket your sales or completely trash your conversions.
  • The three low-ticket products I’m launching first (and why).
  • The reality of running ads for low-ticket offers, including how much testing and iteration is actually required.

If you’ve ever thought about launching a low-ticket offer—or you’re wondering whether it’s really the right move for your business—this episode is a must-listen. I’m sharing everything I wish I’d known before diving in, plus how I’m navigating the shift while keeping my business profitable (and peaceful).

You're too smart for your own good (and it's costing you sales) (Ep.119)04 Jun 202500:20:57

Ever feel like you're pouring your heart (and time and brainpower) into your content and offers—and still hearing crickets?

This episode is your wake-up call (and maybe a bit of a loving nudge to dumb it down a little).

Because you're probably too smart for your own good - and it's costing you sales.

Here’s the hard truth: you're an expert. You know exactly what's going on for your clients, and exactly how to fix what's going on for them.

And I'm asked - frequently - how much information should I give away vs keep inside my programs? And if you're asking this - I can be fairly certain your content is far too advanced for your audience.

Because most of your audience isn’t nearly as informed as you are—and that’s exactly why they need you. But if your content, your offer, or even just the way you describe what you do is too advanced, too jargony, or assumes too much awareness (i.e. you're trying to help them fix a problem they don't even know they have)… you’re losing people before they even realise they need you.

So your Cloud 9 Clients are thinking

"Oh that's nice" and scrolling on by and then going to work with the next service provider

Instead of thinking

"OMG she gets me and this is EXACTLY the thing I need help with"

In this podcast, I’m breaking down:

  • The difference between problem-aware vs. problem-unaware audiences—and why you might be speaking over the heads of 70% of your audience
  • Why your dead-end Instagram posts might be the thing standing between you and the sales you deserve
  • The sneaky way your expertise is making your messaging way too complex (and what to do instead)
  • A personal story involving bedtime tummy aches, FODMAPs, and the marketing lesson I never saw coming

If you’re feeling like “I know my stuff, so why isn’t this working?”—this is your episode.

And if you’re nodding along while also staring at a blinking cursor trying to figure out what to post on Instagram… my $47 plug-and-play content guide Batched is going to change your life.

4 ways your offer suite could be keeping you broke (Ep.105)05 Feb 202500:19:50

Struggling to scale your business? Feeling stuck at $50k despite having multiple offers and feeling like you're hustling all the time?

I've just come out of a season of auditing dozens of businesses and one of the biggest things keeping these business owners from hitting $10k months consistently (and beyond to multi-six figures) that is also one of the easiest things to fix - is their offer suite.

Not all offers will make you enough profit.

Some offers sabotage other offers

In this episode, I'm speaking to four of the big offer suite mistakes that might be sabotaging your revenue, keeping you overworked, and preventing you from reaching your Sweet Six business goals.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • What offers you need to have if you have a smallish audience (think: less than 10k on Instagram and/or your email list)
  • The two types of offers that will strangle your signature program if you don't do them well
  • Why having a 'full calendar' is not a flex
  • How to restructure your offer suite for peace AND profit.

How to strategically take time off during school breaks without losing momentum (Ep.97)20 Nov 202400:16:11

As we head into the end of the year, I know many of us are gearing up for school holidays or the festive season. In Australia, it’s our big break, and if you're in the U.S. or the UK, your major school holidays or holiday season might be approaching too. But let’s face it: taking a break from business while juggling life and family can feel overwhelming, and for many mama CEOs, it means seeing momentum grind to a halt.

Today, I’m diving into a better approach. We’re talking about how to take intentional, strategic breaks so that your business continues to grow—even while you’re enjoying holiday time. I’ll share how I shifted from feeling constantly behind to having a business that sustains itself during my time off. It’s all about planning, understanding lagging indicators in marketing, and making sure your revenue and visibility don’t take a nosedive. Let’s make 2025 your smoothest year yet!

Here’s What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

  • 00:02:00 Why going “momentum zero” during school breaks sets you back more than you think.
  • 00:05:30 How to create sprint-rest cycles that work for part-time entrepreneurs and moms.
  • 00:07:00 Setting up automated systems and recurring revenue streams to secure income even when you’re off.
  • 00:09:30 Reverse engineering your revenue goals and planning your promotional calendar ahead of time.
  • 00:12:30 How to get ahead now in Q4, so you’re not playing catch-up in February 2025.

My $500k Revenue Plan for Peace and Profit (Ep.118)27 May 202500:44:40

If you’ve been wondering what it actually looks like to plan out $500K in revenue without sacrificing your life, this episode is for you.

In this mid-year check-in, I’m pulling back the curtain on what’s really happening behind the scenes in my business... what’s working, what’s changing, and how I’m navigating the juggle of running a profitable business while also being present for my kids and home life.

I walk you through the exact way I’ve mapped out my revenue goals for the rest of the year and why I’ve made the decision to not expand my mastermind beyond 20 people, even though it’s nearly full. I’ve come to peace with that, and it’s part of a much bigger conversation around energy, sustainability, and doing business on your own terms.

In this episode, I share:

  • Why I’m not relying on hope to hit my goals—and what I’m doing instead
  • How I use really simple maths to reverse engineer my targets
  • The reason I’m pivoting away from more high-ticket mastermind seats and what I’m introducing instead
  • The real story behind low-ticket offers, and why they aren’t the golden ticket to six-figure months
  • How I’m balancing ambition with capacity this year (and letting go of scaling just for the sake of it)

If you’re feeling like you’re at a crossroads, or maybe just tired of business strategies that don’t factor in real life, this is a grounded look at what it means to grow with intention.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, slide into my DMs and let me know what part hit home for you.
