Overcoming Insecurity To Become The Woman God Says You Are With Oneka McClellan11 Jul 202400:30:15

Born Royal: Overcoming Insecurity to Become the Woman God Says You Are by nationally recognized speaker and Shoreline City Church co-pastor Oneka McClellan (as seen on TBN’s Better Together, Life TodayPublishers Weekly, etc.) is an empowering, heart-felt manifesto for every woman sensing a greater calling, but consistently held back by doubt.

"We know women are meant to bring powerful and lasting goodness into the world because God repeatedly called women to do so: He trusted Mary to give birth to Jesus, Esther to save His people, and Deborah to lead His kingdom. Yet so much of our potential is limited by our own insecurity and fear. It’s time for us to stand confident in our stunning worth as royal daughters, unite in community, and walk in the unshakable hope of Christ."- Oneka McClellan

Pastor Oneka McClellan reminds us that God has uniquely positioned and gifted women to be a source of life, wisdom, and strength. In this conversation, she gives us four ways to say yes to God, shares insightful biblical truths on spiritual warfare, and how worship is a powerful weapon to stay on the course of faith.

To every woman who’s ever felt held back, pushed down, or disqualified from stepping fully into her purpose, Born Royal offers hope, encouragement, and empowerment. It also sounds a liberating call for each and every one of us—including you—to walk boldly and precisely as the women God has created us to be. Grab your copy of the book today!

Letters of Comfort, Hope, and Peace for Women Facing a Life-Changing Illness with Ronda Barney09 Jun 202200:45:40

Author Ronda Barney of 'Dear Susan' shares about how God brought her comfort during a heart-shattering health diagnosis and how she used it for good to deliver hope and encouragement for women facing a life-changing illness. It all began with writing letters, as if it were addressed to a dear friend walking through the same pain and suffering Ronda experienced. The Lord prompted Ronda to introduce each letter with the name Susan. Little did she know just a few years later, God would introduce her to the real Susan who needed those divine letters of hope. This is one of those conversations that will fill you with purpose that we are not on this earth for ourselves and how God exchanges our sorrow for His comfort, peace, and joy. This story made my heart glad as I saw one woman faithfully infuse the light of His hope and sustenance for others darkest days.

Learning To Forgive With Somer Colbert21 Apr 202200:35:31

Podcaster of "Love Where You Are" Somer Colbert talks about when we've been hurt, rejected, and forgotten inside the four walls of church. Somer shares on how to heal when we've experienced mistreatment from believers and gain a biblical perspective to not let unforgiveness hold us back from doing the work God has set before us. One of the points she talks about is the danger of when church becomes tribalism. It's not about being loyal to a tribe, it's about serving and worshipping the Lord and treating others based on what scripture says. Somer says, "If being hurt by the church causes you to lose faith in God then your faith was in people not God." This is so true and there are many that have been wounded in the church, but God never wants us to stay in that place. He desires us to look to Him to make our heart whole again and know this is an attempt by the enemy to destroy unity among God's people.

God, Where Are You?21 Jan 202200:13:20

Hey Friend, I know this isn't the typical first episode for the beginning of a new year, but I wanted you to know that if you're in a season of, "God, where are you?" You are not alone. Sometimes our disappointments in life can lead us to a place where God's presence feels miles away. We struggle to understand why and our confusion produces more sorrow.

God placed it on my heart to kick-off the year of She Speaks Life podcast with a testimony I went through late last year. There will be times where God seems silent and maybe like me it was during doubt, dejection, and discouragement. I found that it's more about trusting God's presence rather than feeling His presence and that my faith pleases God more than feelings. It is praising Him through the hurt and clinging to His promises even when nothing makes sense. I hope that this testimony brings you encouragement that whenever you feel knocked down, He is faithful and He will always lift you up.

I can't wait to bring you stories for your 2022!

The intersection between faith and story is your testimony! We learn through testimonies that we are not alone with our ups and downs in life and God’s faithfulness gets us through even the worst days. Each episode is an invitation to see God’s goodness and shift our perspective to see Him in every circumstance. Inside every story of hardship, we'll hear that He is trustworthy and Jesus is the only Way, Truth, and Life!

How to manage money by glorifying God!30 Nov 202100:33:05

Katie Jones talks about how she recognized that the love of money usually doesn't show up as buying fancy things, being in a lot of debt, or being salary obsessed. The love of money shows up in the simple act of glorifying ourselves with our money more than we glorify God with it. She takes us through her story of the different ways she was putting money first and how through prayer and Bible study, God shifted her heart towards generosity. Katie encourages us on how to live abundantly, give generously and radically advance the Kingdom of God without hinderance of financial barriers.

Through her experience, Katie became a faith money coach at Agape Investing and has a passion to help others develop excellent money management skills that are rooted in the gospel. Her mission is to share what she went through so that others can learn how to be generous givers and steward finances biblically, all to glorify God.

Deconstruct to Reconstruct02 Jul 202100:40:44

Author Rachel Baker of the "Deconstructed" Bible Study Guide shares with us about how God doesn't waste anything. He takes the broken parts of our lives and uses everything to reconstruct a beautiful story. She experienced a traumatic event losing both her dad and brother in a scuba diving accident. Rachel talks about her questions she had with God and the rebellious anger that developed from this tragedy. She takes us through her journey on the power of a simple invite and how God began to transform her heart. Her story depicts that no matter where you are, you're never too far from God's redemption.

With time spent in The Living Word, she developed a passion for others to not be overwhelmed studying the Bible. Married to a pastor and in leadership with women's ministry, she discovered the need to help others simplify and understand the Bible. Rachel published "Deconstructed," a Bible study guide to equip others with confidence on how to read and study the Bible effectively.

Faithfulness in the Messiness05 Mar 202100:35:58

Have you ever felt like your expectations didn't match up with the circumstances in your life? I believe most of us have envisioned a plan for our lives to go a certain way, but then ultimately it took a different route.

My friend and author Nicole Wiencek talks about her struggles when God interrupted her life to relocate her to a different state for ministry. She gives us her life lessons on how to stay obedient to God and have faithfulness even when the messiness in life tries to take us down. Nicole wrote and published a Bible study about Joseph called, "Found Faithful When Life is Less Than." She never expected after its release she would experience similar trials to Joseph and find herself asking "Where are you God? How do I stay faithful when everything around me is falling apart?" I love that she points out that God wants us to ask the hard questions and how obedience is our job and the results are His. Coming from a heart for ministry to serve alongside her pastor husband in Colorado Springs, she has a desire to minister to women in their brokenness and lead them into breakthrough.
