We are in the midst of an unraveling and a quickening. This is happening on a collective level as institutions are crumbling and the ways things have been done for centuries are becoming redundant and unsustainable.

This is of course being mirrored in our own personal lives through our relationships with others and ourselves.

When we cling too tightly to the things that we have, we are not getting the chance to grow and evolve. We can be fixed on our attachment to our material possessions, to the relationships that we have emotionally invested in, and the structure and format of how we do things.

When we commit to a conscious or spiritual practice like meditation or shamanic journeying, are we practicing? Or do we have a practice? Or both? What is the difference? I share my thoughts on this and and why it may be such an important part of one’s spiritual path.

Consciously engaging with Spirit in co-creative partnership takes mindfulness and intention. It is a retraining out of a human-centric way of thinking into a kinship way of thinking. When it comes to working with the Fae it also helps to get me out of my serious state of mind and into a more playful and childlike point of you. One thing that has been helping me do this better is gardening.

Human beings are naturally connected with the Spirit in all things, but we have lost this point of view over centuries of human-centric exploitation and colonialism. Reclaiming our animistic foundation is key to creating a healthy life ourselves on the planet. We can look to indigenous and fellow conservation and social justice legal advocates to lead the way introducing a new realm of legal personhood for nature.

How we can partner with the spirits of the land and nature beings to create ceremonies to bring harmony and balance to an area.

In this episode I talk about how we can have active and also passive roles in ceremonies and how our intentions weave together with many others creating collective change.

We talk about ceremony, how they became ceremonialists, and why ceremony is so important for humans especially in this day and age.

Participating in a couple of powerful global ceremonies led my spirit team to help me create new ways of looking at personal ceremony. The ceremonies are away for me to bridge the mundane and the reverent, the physical and the etheric and to bring harmony to myself, others and my environment.
