Dan's  first story  revolves around a Realtor trying and failing to sell a property that seems to clearly have something supernaturally wrong with it.  Then is off to Eastern Canada, between Montreal and Toronto. Two young men head out to go camping and see more than they bargained for. One of them swears off camping forever as a result! Lynze crushes this week with two tales! Her first is a classic haunted New Orleans hotel story. What could be more spoopy that that? Then, a ouija board tale like none we have ever told. It will stick with you and make you wonder just how powerful those boards might actually be.

Dan starts with an alleged anonymous modern encounter involving a man hearing a girl’s voice as a child - a voice asking him to wake up, and a voice that keeps asking this for many, many years - well into adulthood. And then finally, something very strange happens that leaves him feeling certain that this voice did not just belong. Then, a tale that is about the mysterious and troubling disappearance of a young man who disappeared in the Idaho wilderness, not far from where Dan grew up, back in 2018.  Lynze takes us back to our childhoods with a creepy game of hide and seek. Then she wraps up this episode with an unexplainable story from an EMT.

Dan had two killer tales to share this week! He starts with a supposed encounter with what might be the creepiest kind of man: a paranormal pedophile. Then, in his second story, Dan really gets Lynze worked up when he shares the story of the Jamison Family Disappearance.  Lynze shares three strange tales. Her first is a classic ouija board tale. Then she shares the story of two brothers who piss off a recently deceased man. Lastly, she takes us to Cambodia for the tale of an Ahp!

The first story Dan will be sharing takes us to the Fukuoka Prefecture of Japan  to explore lore around the urban legend of the Howling Village. And then we’ll explore the legend of the Basano vase! Did these supposedly cursed object bring death to one owner after another for two separate cycles of tragedy separated by centuries? Is it made up? Or does it lie underground again, waiting for a new owner to find it, and to start another cycle of terror? Lynze has two awesome stories this week, per usual! While we never truly know what we might be talking to on the other side this one feels like a very authentic encounter with a lost loved one. Or is it? Dan's first story is set in Portland, Oregon, centered around Portland’s underground “shanghai tunnels.” There are miles of tunnels underneath Portland that connect it to the Willamette River - once used to transport goods in and out of the city and to ocean going ships. These tunnels also, SUPPOSEDLY, were used for human trafficking. Sailors getting “Shanghai’d” - kidnapped and forced to work at sea. Women getting forced into prostitution and shipped around the world. Some think this stuff never actually happened in Portland, others think it was frequent. Let's see what is out there. Then for Dan's second tale, the Cherokee legend of The Raven Mocker - a strange, evil spirit and the most feared of the Cherokee witches.  Lynze has two stories for you this week! First off, a tale that is sad but also heartwarming. A mother may have made a call from the great beyond to save the life of her child. Then a shared haunting, a screaming nun and a dorm room that just doesn't feel quite right.

Dan is  bringing back our annual Holiday Horror tradition.  For Victorian England, December was the spooky spooky season - not October - and this is where our Western tradition of telling ghost stories to scare one another comes from. Then he shares with us  another story featuring some true crime basis. Convicted killer, Gary Mark Gilmore, was sent  to death row for a murder he never even tried to hid. Could it be because his mother brought something dark into her life, and then into her family’s life, before he was ever born? Lynze has her usual two tales. She begins with a life long attachment tale and then wraps out the show with a possessed teddy bear tale!

Dan has a bigger story set in Boise, Idaho.  Boise’s Murder House aka the Chop Chop house. This is a somewhat recent true crime story that  leads to numerous reported paranormal encounters. Very creepy story. Then,  a bit of tragic lore revolving around rural Colorado’s Third Bridge aka Ghost Bridge - and some reports of modern encounters there as well. Lynze switches it up this week with one, big, fat juicy tale. A woman is plagued by visits from the hat man. Her dad was potentially cursed long before she was born. Is there a connection?

Bad Magic Productions Monthly Patreon Donation:It’s November and it is our tradition here at bad magic to donate to a veteran cause every November, in honor of Veteran’s Day. This year, we are donation to the United Heroes League who provides free sports equipment, game tickets, cash grants, skill development camps, and special experiences to military families across the US & Canada. The United Heroes League keeps military kids active and healthy through sports while their parents serve our country. We donated $15,228 to UHL and added another $1,692 to the scholarship fund!
