Welcome back to SAY IT TO ME NICE! After a 3 year hiatus,. we are returning with a renewed purpose and passion. This episode is deeply personal-a heartfelt love letter to Black women everywhere.

THE BODY KEEPS THE SCORE: by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk explores how trauma is stored in the body and impacts mental, emotional, and physical health. It emphasizes the importance of reconnecting with the body through practices like self awareness, movement, and self awareness to promote healing. For Black women, this work is particularly powerful in addressing the unique layers of generational, racial, and personal trauma they may carry.
