The Hundred (plus) Years’ War with Jamie Wall (RugbyBitsnPieces)25 Oct 202300:48:24

Shaun and Thala are joined by Jamie Wall of Radio New Zealand to preview the All Blacks for the Rugby World Cup final.

Jamie discusses why some of the changes in selection for the All Blacks in 2022 happened more through chance than by design. The influence of Joe Schmidt and Jason (not James, Thala) Ryan as coaches. Why Rieko Ioane gets a bad wrap for his defence at 13. The influence of rugby league in how the All Blacks attack and what the All Blacks will try to do against the Springboks.

Jamie also tells us about his book "The Hundred Years' War" on the All Blacks and Springboks rivalry, which you can get at jamiewallrugby.com
