Despite playing six seasons in the NRL and four in the Championship, Bradford Bulls star Caleb Aekins only made his Super League debut this season.
Since featuring in the club’s opening game away to Hull FC, Aekins has been an ever-present in featuring for the Bradford club, making big contributions on and off the field.
After making his 150th career appearance against the Warrington Wolves yesterday, Aekins expressed his appreciation for coach Kurt Hagerty, saying that he loves the way he coaches and that the team's expansive playing style is really suited to him.
Whilst Aekins feels he is adapting and genuinely growing into the full back role at the Bulls with a number of positive contributions so far in 2026.
Caleb believes that himself and the squad can learn from the game inconsistencies against the Wolves (slow start to both halves, too many errors with ball in hand), lessons that he believes will see the Bulls learn in sustaining performances for the full 80 minutes.

The Bulls boss says that the fourth official admitted after the game that the decision to reduce Bradford down to 11 players was wrong due to the genuine injury.
During this crucial period of play, Warrington scored six points with Luke Thomas crossing for the Wolves.
