The podcast returns with a 3 hour long edition of the Dispatch. On this episode, we cover a whole lot including Resident Evil 5, the launch of Project Umbrella, Outbreak's resurgance at THIA and much more. This podcast marks the introduction of the Whatcha been playing segment which covers non Resident Evil games as well. Carn talks about Halo Wars and Prince of Persia. After that, John talks about Killzone 2 for a bit. Gene talks a bit about Umbrella Chronicles, and very little on Super Mario RPG now that its available on the VC (basically the first release in Europe). He also touches on Uncharted. Wayne talks about Broken Sword a bit, and Silent Hill now that it got a PSN release in Europe. Finally, the discussion tops out with some Left 4 Dead and a little bit of Silent Hill Homecoming.
In the second segment, we discuss all aspects of Resident Evil 5 including the racism issue.
For the third segment we discuss a little bit of Biohazard Outbreak, and then, given Takeuchi's comments that RE6 will have to change the formula again, we move on to what we would want for Resident Evil 6. After that, we talk about Darkside Chronicles, the launch of Project Umbrella, and finally we discuss the DLC for pay discussion.

Mr. Spencer goes MIA behind enemy lines, as a whole bunch of people end up coming in on this final episode for 2008. We finally get to discuss the Biohazard 5 demo, and our thoughts on it. Being years end, we didn't have much time between unwrapping presents and all that to cull some news together, but the segment will be back in the new year with episode 9. Forgive the joking nature of this podcast, I'm sure we were all a bit intoxicated or a bit too giddy in some way or another. Thanks again to Nomad9026 for yet another great skit. In this very special episode, Krispy (the owner of Project Umbrella) joins us to discuss his trip to play some brand new levels of Resident Evil 5. Some exclusive information is learned, and we all come away very happy with how Capcom are treating their fans. We sort of bounce around between Resident Evil 5 and Bionic Commando 3D, so the time codes shouldn't be followed strictly. We'll be back soon with a proper Episode 8. Extinction faces most of the wrath on this podcast, as we run down all the movies that it took scenes from and even how it disregards facts that were established in Apocalypse. Yet another mega-episode! On episode 6, Rombie from Resident Evil Fan and TheSelfishGene join us to discuss the first Resident Evil movie. With Rombie's help, Dot50Cal was able to read both George Romero's original script, as well as an early draft of Paul Anderson's script for the movie. He gives a full run through of the events in Romero's script, and details the differences in Anderson's early draft. Rombie also gives us a great breakdown of the development history of the movie and the various pitfalls that halted its production.

In this special mega-episode, TheSelfishGene joins us after just coming off seeing Biohazard Degeneration at the Japanese theater premiere. He regals us with tales of a new Biohazard 5 trailer which was shown just before the film, as well as a complete run-down of the events in the movie as we ask him questions about it. In this episode, we go back to where the obsession began. All three of us recount our first exposure to the Resident Evil series. After words, we get into the meat of the game and discuss its mechanics after having played the later games in the series. A slew of news slams us this week including all the goodies from the Tokyo Game Show. We finally have our call in line setup, and we take some calls from some of the listeners in the podcast. A noteworthy podcast, as it is the first time the "1.5" Trailer debuted to the world. Special thanks to Sin Valentine and Borman for lending their voices for the skit! TheSelfishGene calls in and gives us a nice, detailed report on Biohazard for the Sega Saturn. Andyfer_Ruu calls in to ask us if we prefer the Remake or the original. Helegad calls to tell us he's playing the Deadly Silence re-release on the Nintendo DS. shanemurphy calls in to ask us what our favorite music track is, and Rombie of Resident Evil Fan calls us, straight from the Resident Evil 1 mansion labs, to give some thoughts on the game. Project Omega's remix of some Wesker lines in Code: Veronica sets the stage for episode 4 of the dispatch.

Our new intro, starring the voice talent of the two John's debuts as we discuss Resident Evil 2. The podcast begins with an apology to our Asian listeners for last weeks disruptions by Mr. Spencer. Following the Resident Evil 2 discussion, Dot50Cal discusses some of the differences when compared to the the leaked version of Biohazard 2 which has been nicknamed "Beta 2". Our sparse news segment opens, with a whopping 2 entires! No doubt a side effect of the Tokyo Game Show which is just days away. Finally, we have Evan (C2keo) from the Dark Biohazard mod join us and discuss some aspects of the mod and how he came to model so well.
