How To Build A Biblical Business18 Sep 202600:49:51

In this episode, I sat down with Adam Weisner, author of Biblical Business, CEO of Sherman Research, and founder of Unbreakable OS, to talk about what it really means to lead with faith at the center of your business.

Adam shared the moment everything shifted for him: realizing that work is worship, and that faith and business were never meant to be separate. He walked me through how joining a Christian business community reshaped his entire worldview, why he rebuilt his company's core values around the fruits of the spirit, and how he learned to lead as what he called a chief stewardship officer rather than an owner.

We got into his philosophy of becoming the dispensable CEO, the idea that the goal isn't to make yourself more needed in your business, but to build something that can thrive without you. Adam broke down his hot dog stand effect, a simple but powerful test for whether people would follow your leadership even if you started over from nothing.

He also opened up about his marriage, the moment he felt called to start sharing his faith publicly after years of avoiding social media, and why he believes obedience matters more than outcomes. This conversation touched on leadership, security, identity, and what it looks like to build a business, and a life, on a foundation bigger than yourself.

If you believe people are your greatest asset and relationships are your greatest investment, this episode is for you.

Leadership is the Ultimate Team Sport16 Sep 202600:46:42

In this episode, I sat down with a father and son duo whose energy and connection I could feel the moment they walked in. Robbie Hill and his dad Rich Hill joined me to talk about what it really means to build a legacy, one that lives not in trophies or bank accounts, but in the hearts and minds of the people who matter most.

Rich has spent over four decades coaching and fundraising in college athletics, and Robbie has carved his own path in sales and marketing, drawing inspiration from mentors like Andy Elliott. Together they unpacked how storytelling, urgency, and genuine belief transform fundraising from a burden into a movement. Rich shared his philosophy of eliminating the outcome and focusing entirely on the experience he creates for the people he is trying to reach, while Robbie broke down the idea of transfer of belief, the practice of inviting people into a story so compelling that they become raving fans rather than one time donors.

We also went deep on identity and confidence. Robbie talked about learning to root his confidence in something deeper than performance or results, and Rich reflected on forty years of coaching young men, the mistakes he has made along the way, and what it means to lead with a servant's heart rather than a need for recognition.

What stayed with me most was their honesty about legacy. Rich put it simply: it is not about what people think of you, it is about the impact you leave in the hearts of the people you love and the people you lead. Robbie echoed that same conviction, sharing his commitment to being a present father, husband, and salesman who truly listens.

This conversation was full of heart, humor, and hard earned wisdom from two generations walking the same path together.

Stop Playing It Safe & Letting Fear Run Your Life09 Sep 202600:54:39

In this episode, I sat down with Paul Melella Jr., founder of One Degree Coaching and executive coach for financial advisors, for a conversation that went far deeper than business strategy. Paul opened up about the collapse of the martial arts empire he spent thirty years building, the panic attacks that brought him to his lowest point, and the moment his life turned around after he surrendered his pride and rebuilt his foundation around faith, family, and purpose.

We talked about what he calls a worthy ideal, the difference between chasing goals and living for something bigger than yourself, and why gratitude became the flashlight that got him through his darkest season. Paul shared the five habits he has seen in every high performer he has coached over the past twenty years, from finding a mentor to building a circle of people who raise your standards instead of lowering them.

This episode was a reminder that the hardest seasons often prepare us for the biggest breakthroughs, and that real success is not measured by what we accumulate but by who we become and who we help along the way. Paul is currently coauthoring his second book, Freedom Equation, and continues to grow One Degree Coaching alongside his wife Gina."

Hate Your Job? Lost Your Job? It Might Be Time To Reimagine What’s Next.07 Sep 202600:50:19

Today’s episode is a really special one because I’m sitting down with a couple who have built a business, a marriage, a family, and a life together.

Bryan and Shannon Miles are the founders of MilesAG and BELAY. BELAY a company they started during the Great Recession and bootstrapped into a business generating more than $100 million in revenue. But what I find most fascinating about their story isn’t just what they built. It’s how they built it without allowing the business to completely take over their lives.

They’ve become passionate about helping entrepreneurs move from running their businesses to actually owning them, creating more freedom, purpose, and space for what matters most.
So today, we’re going to talk about entrepreneurship, marriage, leadership, building a business that can operate without you, and ultimately, what it really means to build a life by design.

2 Things to Value as A Wedding Videographer04 Sep 202600:47:47

In this episode, I sat down with Franz, a wedding photographer and videographer from FM Visuals, for a conversation that turned into one of my favorite episodes of the year. Franz broke down what actually keeps couples coming back to hire the same vendors over and over, and it had nothing to do with pricing or even how good the final photos turned out. It came down to the small, human details vendors chose to remember.

We talked about the emotional side of wedding photography, from playing a couple's first dance song mid shoot to bring back real feeling, to holding onto a tiny keepsake for over a year just to hand it back at the perfect moment. Franz shared how he built systems for the things nobody warns new photographers about, backup plans for sickness, travel delays, and worst case scenarios, plus how he trained his team to deliver the same experience even if he wasn't the one behind the camera.

We also got into what it really takes to stay creative in a saturated industry, why every wedding doubles as an audition for future clients in the room, and how learning from other industries gave him an edge most photographers never think to look for. Franz left us with a reminder that resonates far outside of weddings, if you're only chasing the money, you'll never build something that lasts.

If you believe people remember how you made them feel long after they forget what you did, this episode is for you.

ELLIOTT ARMY SERIES: If You DON'T Believe in God You NEED to Hear This!02 Sep 202600:54:13

In this episode of the Elliott Army Series, I sat down with Jaycob and Alyssa Zepeda to talk about the story behind their relationship and the faith that has carried them through it. They shared how they met as next door neighbors a decade ago, the moment a towed car turned into a decade long love story, and what it took to finally say yes to marriage after years together.

We got into how they stay grounded in a competitive industry without comparing themselves to others, why Jaycob credits his wrestling background for teaching him resilience in sales, and how their walk with God became the center of their marriage after moving to Arizona. Alyssa opened up about surrendering control and trusting that God equips those He calls, while Jaycob spoke about the power of sharing your testimony instead of hiding your past.

We also talked about what drew their whole family into the Elliott Group, why proximity to the right community changes the trajectory of your life, and their hopes for the future, from traveling the world with their family to continuing to grow in faith together.

This one was full of heart, honesty, and a reminder that the story you are most tempted to hide might be the very thing that helps someone else. Thank you both for trusting me with your testimony.

These 7 Pillars Will Change Your Life31 Aug 202600:58:33

In this episode, I sat down with Alan Link, a man who spent most of his life carrying the weight of obesity, both physically and emotionally, and came out the other side transformed. Alan opened up about growing up around his father's bakery, where sugar and dough were a constant, and how that environment shaped decades of dysfunctional eating he didn't even recognize as dysfunctional. He walked me through the moments that broke him down, watching friends lose their eyesight and limbs to diabetes, standing on the sidelines of his own children's lives at amusement parks and pool parties, and surviving two suicide attempts before finally deciding he deserved better.

What struck me most was Alan's honesty about the mindset behind it all. He described the shame of hiding from cameras and mirrors, the identity of being the "fat guy" in every room, and how diets alone were never going to fix what was really an environment and mindset problem. He shared his Phoenix framework, built around purpose, health, ownership of environment, nutrition, and exceeding who you were yesterday, and explained why he now coaches people not on workouts, but on rebuilding their relationship with food, movement, and self worth.

Alan's story is a reminder that transformation doesn't erase the past, it reframes it. He still checks the mirror more than most, he still calls himself a work in progress, but he's found purpose in helping others break the cycle he lived for decades. This conversation touched on faith, timing, and the belief that nothing we go through is wasted if we let it serve someone else.

Growing a 7 Figure Cleaning Business in ONLY 6 years30 Aug 202601:05:25

I sat down with a husband and wife team who built a thriving cleaning company almost by accident, starting with nothing more than a mom's living room couch, a borrowed car, and a stubborn refusal to work for anyone else.

Misael told me how he tasted his first big commission selling solar door to door and knew right away that he could never go back to punching a clock. When his mother's cleaning business needed someone to carry it forward, he saw his opening. Melissa shared what it was like to fall for an ambitious, restless entrepreneur while she was still finishing her accounting degree, and how she supported him through years of unpaid bills, borrowed credit cards, and long nights figuring out the next move.

We talked about the networking strategy that let Misael become the only cleaning company in the room at real estate events, why he pays his cleaners above market rate, and the culture that keeps his team coming back. We also got into what happens when a growing business collides with a growing family: the guilt of stepping back from a career, the identity shift that comes with choosing to raise your own kids instead of handing that job to someone else, and the traditions that hold a family together through the chaos.

Change Your Environment To Change Yourself26 Aug 202600:29:28

In this episode, I welcomed Mark Carrillo, a skate coach and grip tape artist out of Huntington Beach, California. Mark shared how a single volunteer day teaching neurodiverse kids to skateboard turned into a full time calling, and how he built a second creative outlet designing custom, one of a kind grip tape art for fellow skaters.

We talked about what he learned from his recent visit to the Elliott Group headquarters in Scottsdale, how he stays creative by collaborating with strangers instead of working in isolation, and why he believes speed of decision making matters just as much as skill. Mark also opened up about something a lot of us can relate to: realizing that no amount of success means much if your relationships with family are not right first.

This conversation touched on mentorship, faith, staying intentional with the people you surround yourself with, and why the quietest person in the room often has the most to offer. If you have ever felt torn between chasing a passion and showing up for the people who matter most, this one is for you.

How to Become a Social Media Manager: 20,000 followers in 12 days24 Aug 202600:43:09

In this episode of Revenue from Retention, I sat down with Tiffany Koithan, a social media manager based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose life changed almost overnight when one video she posted went viral, adding over twelve thousand followers to her account in a single week.

We talked about the strategy behind her content, the mentor who helped her find her voice, and the moment she realized numbers on a screen would never be her real source of security. Tiffany opened up about walking away from a college basketball coaching career to build her own business, what it looked like to fall in love and step into a blended family, and how her faith carried her through a season of settling somewhere she never planned to live.

We also got into what it takes to run a business as a wife and a partner during a season of financial imbalance, and what it means to grieve a plan you did not get to choose while still embracing the life in front of you. This conversation was full of heart, honesty, and hard won wisdom about chasing what is actually meant for you.

Number 1 Way To Finding Happiness In Life21 Aug 202600:33:20

In this episode, I sat down with Terence Aldo Halligan, founder of We Move, a moving company he launched in Pennsylvania and built from nothing into a growing operation with new locations and a franchise program on the way. Terence walked me through his story with total honesty, starting with getting laid off during Covid and picking up labor work with a moving company, never realizing it would become the foundation for his own business years later.

He told me about the night that changed everything, a chance conversation with a stranger in a McLaren at a gas station that led to a cigar lounge sit down and a piece of advice that stuck with him for years: build something that makes you money first, then you can chase what you are passionate about at the level you actually want to chase it. That was the push he needed to finally start We Move.

We talked about the mentors who show up when you least expect them, the years he spent studying acting and body language to become a better communicator, and the personal development journey that started with a random Jim Rohn video and eventually led him to Andy Elliott and the Elliott Army. Terence got real about his past, the mistakes he made growing up, and how being intentional about who he was becoming mattered more than any revenue milestone he hit along the way.

This conversation covered business, faith, identity, and what it actually means to reinvent yourself over and over again. Terence reminded me that personal growth never really ends, and that the milestone is never the finish line God always has another challenge waiting.

Your Worst Moments Are Your Greatest Opportunity20 Aug 202601:13:18

In this episode, I sat down with Maria Linh Nguyen, co-founder of Blue Hammer Roofing, for a conversation that took us from the hardest parts of her childhood to the leadership lessons that built a multimillion dollar business.

Maria shared what it was like growing up in a chaotic, abusive household in Dallas as the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, and how at just five years old she began defining what freedom meant to her. By seven, she had already built her own definition of success around three pillars: education, career, and money, and she pursued all three with a relentlessness that shaped the rest of her life.

We talked about her path through the fitness industry, where she rose from an entry level sales role to become one of the youngest female vice presidents in the company's history, and how that experience taught her to lead in rooms where she was often underestimated. Maria opened up about the moment she chose to walk away from that career when her values no longer aligned with the business, and how that decision led her and two close friends to found Blue Hammer Roofing, a company built on culture, loyalty, and putting people over profit.

She also spoke candidly about identity, the mentors who stepped in when her own family could not, her sobriety journey, her marriage, and her dream of building an orphanage in Vietnam as part of her long term legacy. This conversation was a powerful reminder that adversity does not have to define your ceiling, it can become the foundation you build everything else on.

3 Ways to Build Structure In Your Life18 Aug 202600:37:30

In this episode, I sat down with Brett Lundeen, owner of Built By Brett Online Coaching and a fitness coach and transformation expert who built his brand around sustainable training, real nutrition, and honest content. We talked about how social media changed the fitness industry, why he left the traditional gym setting to build his own business, and his refreshingly blunt take on the peptide and TRT trend that has taken over social media. Brett broke down the simplest, most effective way to train in just thirty minutes a day, and shared why consistency, not shortcuts, was always the real key to lasting change.

Brett opened up about his own journey into fitness, which started later than most people would expect and grew into a career built entirely from scratch. He talked about the years he spent working inside a traditional gym environment before deciding to build something of his own, and what it actually took to make that leap. That decision came with real tradeoffs, but it also gave him the freedom to build a business and a life on his own terms.

Brett's story is a reminder that lasting transformation rarely comes from a shortcut. It comes from consistency, discipline, and the willingness to keep showing up long after motivation runs out.

Keep shattering limiting beliefs.

Coaching Kids And The Right Approach13 Aug 202600:43:12

In this episode of Revenue from Retention, I sat down with husband and wife duo Tim and Sarah Dunbar, founders of Limit Break Athletics and Champ Camp, a youth fitness program built around character development rather than just athletic training. They shared the personal health scare that pushed them to rebuild their family's wellness routines and ultimately shaped the mission behind their business.

Tim and Sarah opened up with me about what it really takes to build a business as partners, including the importance of communication, navigating unspoken expectations, and treating challenges as part of the process rather than signs that something was broken. We talked about how confidence built through physical challenge translated into every other area of a child's life, and how their coaching philosophy focused on developing resilience, not just performance.

We also got into what set their gym apart from typical youth athletic programs, their approach to building genuine community rather than transactional membership relationships, and their vision for an expanded facility that would let parents work out while their kids trained. Tim and Sarah closed with hard earned advice on persistence, patience, and showing up consistently even when results felt far away.

I loved reflecting with them on growth, authenticity, and staying open to change, values that ran through this entire conversation.

Marketing Godfather: How to Persuade Anyone! 07 Aug 202601:11:00

There are people who become successful, and then there are the people who quietly shape the success of everyone else.

Today's guest is someone many of the biggest names in marketing, sales, and speaking have learned from. For more than 30 years, Joel Bauer has coached entrepreneurs, executives, and world class speakers on how to command a stage, create genuine connection, and master the art of influence.

His clients have included companies like Motorola, Disney, IBM, Intel, Canon, Mitsubishi, and Shell. His students include some of the most recognized names in business, including Russell Brunson, Jordan Belfort, Joe Polish and many others.

Joel is known around the world for his legendary 20 Move Matrix, a communication framework that has helped countless speakers, sales professionals, and business owners become more persuasive, more authentic, and ultimately more successful.

But beyond the impressive resume, what fascinates me most is Joel's understanding of human behavior. Why do people buy? Why do they trust? What separates someone who simply presents information from someone who truly changes lives?

Today we're diving into the psychology of influence, building authentic relationships, speaking with confidence, and the timeless principles that help great communicators create lasting impact.

How to Outwork Everyone by Getting Better 1% Every Month05 Aug 202600:43:03

I sat down with Elise Kephart, a longtime automotive industry consultant and entrepreneur, for a conversation that started with how quickly time moves and ended up covering nearly two decades of business lessons. We talked about what actually makes a car buying experience stand out in an industry that still struggles with trust, and Elise shared a genuinely creative idea for how dealerships could serve families better while customers shopped.

From there we got into the real story behind her decision to leave a traditional sales job and build her own business, including the late night moment that pushed her to finally put in her notice. Elise opened up about hitting rock bottom a few years into entrepreneurship, the conversation that kept her from quitting, and how she learned to balance an unpredictable schedule with being present for her family.

We also talked about resilience, growing up without much, and how those early experiences shaped the woman and business owner she became today. It was an honest, emotional, and encouraging conversation, and I walked away from it more grateful for Elise's friendship than ever. Until next time, keep shattering limiting beliefs.

Why Money Can't Buy Happiness03 Aug 202600:34:24

In this episode, I sat down with my longtime friend Brandon Garner, a musician, husband, and father whose faith journey completely transformed his life. Brandon opened up about hitting rock bottom in his career and marriage before finding his way back to God through a sales training program that pushed him to become the best version of himself. He shared how books like Outwitting the Devil helped him recognize when he was just going through the motions instead of truly living out his faith, and how getting rebaptized as an adult marked the real beginning of his walk with Jesus.

We talked about how he met his wife Danielle at church, their journey through infertility and loss before welcoming their son, and the grace and patience that have carried them through it all. Brandon also gave us a glimpse into his music career, from playing guitar in worship to working on placing his original music in TV shows and films.

This conversation was full of heart, honesty, and hard won wisdom about leadership, giving others grace, and keeping your eyes on what matters most even when life gets hard. Brandon reminded us that comparison steals joy and that true wealth is found in relationships, faith, and gratitude, not in a bank account.

Tune in for a conversation about faith, family, and finding purpose through every season of life.

5 Things You Need to Know About Menopause 31 Jul 202600:38:56

What happens when you leave a stable career as a nurse practitioner to build something entirely your own, at 50? In this episode I sit down with Kathy Wieliczko, a nurse practitioner turned content creator and midlife health coach, to talk about reinvention, community, and what she calls a healthy dose of delulu.

Kathy went through menopause in 2017 and turned her own experience into a thriving business helping women look and feel their best through strength training, nutrition, and hormone health. She built an audience of over 126,000 followers organically on Instagram, all while working full time as a nurse practitioner, before finally leaving that career behind this past March.

We talk about the mindset it took to keep showing up when nobody was watching, why she blocked everyone she knew when she first started posting, and the moment a single video finally broke through. Kathy opens up about growing up independent, the role gratitude plays in real success, and why she believes women in their fifties are just getting started. If you have ever wondered whether it is too late to start something new, or whether your season of reinvention is actually real, this conversation is for you.

Top 5 Tips on How to Stop Following Trends From a Home Designer30 Jul 202600:36:33

In this episode, I sat down with Eva Ruiz, owner of Homestyle Treasures, a vintage and antique reseller who turned her lifelong love of thrifting and decorating into a thriving business. Eva shared how she grew up going to flea markets with her parents, how she learned to see the potential in pieces most people would walk past, and why she believes every home should tell a story about the people who live there.

We talked about the vintage collector community, how to spot authentic antiques versus mass produced replicas, and why romanticizing your everyday life doesn't require a big budget. Eva also opened up about her thirty year marriage, raising a family with intention, and the courage it took to finally pursue something just for herself after years of putting everyone else first.

This conversation was a reminder that you don't need permission to chase what lights you up, and that the smallest, most affordable details can create the biggest feelings of home.

Elliott Army Series: If You Think You'll be Single Forever, Watch THIS!27 Jul 202600:40:30

In this episode of Revenue from Retention, I sit down with Jaden and Wynter, a young married couple whose maturity and drive have shaped an inspiring life together. We dig into what it really means to grow up fast, from Wynter's early years surrounded by political events with her mother to Jaden's military family discipline and church upbringing. They open up about meeting at church as teenagers, taking the leap to move across the country at 18, and building a marriage and business side by side instead of waiting for life to feel "perfect."

Wynter shares her journey into wedding photography, the lessons she's learned handling tricky family dynamics on set, and her vision for scaling her business on her own terms. Jaden talks about his growth within the Elliott Group, the mentors who shaped him, and why he believes relationship capital matters more than any bank account. We also get into faith, identity, and how each of them personally knows God is real, plus some surprisingly deep talk sparked by a plastic surgeon's Instagram post about why perfection isn't always approachable.

This conversation is full of heart, honesty, and hard won wisdom from two people who are proof that you don't have to wait until you're "figured out" to start building something real.

The Engineering Industry Exposed in 46 minutes22 Jul 202600:45:36

I sat down with Michael Daleo, an aerospace engineer turned career coach, to talk about the winding path from UCF engineering school to building a coaching business for engineers. Michael opened up about living two lives in college, getting fired from his first internship at Lockheed only to be rehired within Northrop Grumman, and the mindset shift from striving to sonship that changed how he approached work and life. We covered his move to Arizona, the influence of his coaches and the LA Group, his vision for becoming a startup incubator for engineers, and the advice that scares people most usually points to what they need to cut from their life. A conversation full of heart, ambition, and faith.

Michael shared how growing up between Key West and Orlando, with a dad who worked in guest relations at Disney, shaped the way he thinks about hospitality and connection. He talked about his grandfather's influence on his work ethic, the value of coaches in every area of his life, and how he found his way to entrepreneurship through a string of trial and error, from a short stint in life insurance to discovering the LA Group through Ian Macklin's videos. That path eventually led him to launch his own career coaching business focused entirely on helping engineers land the jobs they actually want.

We also got into some fun tangents, from hidden speakers at Disney to escape rooms, AI tools, and what the next few decades of technology might look like. Michael's excitement for building something meaningful came through in every story he told, and his belief that business should come from service rather than the chase for money stood out as one of the most grounded parts of our conversation. This episode is for anyone figuring out their own next step, whether that is in engineering, entrepreneurship, or just life in general.

If People Do This, You’re Being Manipulated!13 Jul 202600:35:40

In this episode, I sit down with Randy White, a coach who has spent decades reinventing himself and now helps others do the same. Randy opens up about surviving narcissistic abuse, including a final and defining breakup in 2023 that led him to discover the language for everything he had experienced since childhood. He walks us through how understanding the nervous system, the difference between the ANS and CNS, and the fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses can completely change the way we see our own conditioning.

We talk about boundaries, why people pleasing is really a trauma response rather than a personality trait, and how our conditioned identity often battles our aspirational identity, especially under pressure. Randy shares the Core 4 framework he lives by, body, mind, relationship, and purpose, and explains why pouring into yourself first isn't selfish but necessary if you want to show up for the people you lead and love.

Randy also gets personal about his faith, his journey through addiction and rebuilding a business from nothing, becoming a grandfather, and why he believes mentorship is one of the fastest ways to shortcut your own growth. We close out talking about the explosion of AI, what it means for identity and purpose in a changing world, and why community will matter more than ever moving forward.

If you have ever felt stuck in old patterns and wondered how to finally break free, this episode is for you.

If You Only Watch 3 Videos a day, Make It This One11 Jul 202600:26:33

This week, I opened up about the journey that took me from a lost twenty something with no direction to becoming a leader inside The Elliott Group. I shared the moment I first found Andy Elliott on YouTube and the decision I made to do whatever it took to change my life, even when that meant breaking a lease, leaving Spokane, and starting over in Arizona with nothing in my bank account.

I talked about identity, belief, and what it really means to pursue total recreation, not just in business but in every part of life. I got vulnerable about the years I spent chasing the wrong things, the relationships that weren't right for me, and the patience it took to finally find the partner who matched my ambition. I also shared how faith carried me through the waiting and how it shaped the family and future I'm building now.

We dug into leadership too. I talked about why the person who can develop others the fastest is the most valuable person in any organization, why client experience will always matter more than price or product, and why giving before taking is the foundation of real culture. If you're building a team, chasing a bigger version of yourself, or just need a reminder that transformation is possible, this episode is for you.

Keep shattering limiting beliefs.

Married, Dating, or Single: Two Relationship Experts Share Their Best Advice08 Jul 202600:47:05

In this episode of Revenue from Retention, I sat down with Cory and Lori Romero to talk about the foundation behind their marriage, their business, and their ministry. The couple opens up about meeting at Bank of America over a decade ago, the different paths that led them to faith, and the choice to build their household around a relationship with Jesus rather than simply going through the motions of church attendance.

Cory and Lori share their journey with Celebrate Recovery, where they now serve on the executive team, and talk candidly about the five year infertility journey and the miscarriages that tested their faith before their daughter arrived. They discuss the decision to homeschool, the reasoning behind stepping away from a dual income household, and what it means to build a marriage on communication instead of convenience.

Cory reflects on stepping away from parts of his old motorcycle community to make room for what he describes as a calling toward Celebrate Recovery, while Lori speaks to the quiet, unseen work of running a growing ministry behind the scenes. Throughout the episode, Cory and Lori return again and again to the idea of breaking generational cycles, releasing control, and letting go of whatever holds a person back from being fully present for their family and their community.

Stop Having the Fear of Not Being Enough Ft. Paul Blanchard #16603 Jul 202600:56:00

Today's guest is someone who challenges the way we think about personal growth, performance, and transformation.

For over two decades, Paul Blanchard has been helping entrepreneurs, executives, and high performers understand that success isn't just about thinking differently. It's about creating alignment between your mind, body, emotions, and the deeper patterns that drive your behavior. Through his work with Whole Body Mindset, Paul helps people uncover the hidden habits, beliefs, and internal dynamics that may be keeping them stuck despite their outward success.
What I love about Paul's message is that he believes the answer isn't another strategy, another productivity hack, or another goal. It's learning how to reconnect the head, heart, and gut so you can live and lead from a place of true alignment.

In today's conversation, we're going to dive into mindset, habits, leadership, performance, self awareness, and what it really takes to create lasting change.

Don’t Compare Yourself to Anyone Ft. Stephanie Fisher #16501 Jul 202600:42:46

Today's guest is Steph Fisher, and this conversation feels like catching up with a friend you've known forever. Steph grew up in Colombia before her family immigrated to the United States when she was eight years old, and that journey shaped everything about how she shows up in the world today. She spent a decade as a civil engineer focused on water resources, chasing a dream that started with watching her hometown struggle without access to clean water. Then this year, she walked away from that stable career to build something entirely her own.

Steph opens up about the moment that pushed her into content creation and entrepreneurship, the way she and her husband have built a true partnership behind the scenes, and how she keeps her sense of self intact while sharing so much of her life online. She talks candidly about affiliate marketing, about the community she's building for other creators, and about the quiet confidence she's found after years of thinking she wasn't a "public speaking" kind of person.

This episode is about more than business. It's about identity, motherhood, courage, and choosing to bet on yourself even when it feels uncertain. Steph brings warmth and honesty to every answer, and by the end of this one you'll probably want to go hug your own mom or call your best friend. Let's get into it.

People Over Profit Ft. Rusty and Amanda Saenz #16429 Jun 202600:40:47

In this episode I sat down with Rusty and Amanda Saenz, the husband and wife owners and founders of Elite Moving in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I opened things up a little differently than usual, sharing that my word for 2026 was intentional, and Rusty shared that their word was gratitude.

We talked about how their company was born out of a season of deep tragedy and financial struggle, including the loss of a close friend to suicide, and how that pain became the foundation for the business they built together. Rusty opened up about his past as a self centered scoundrel before he and Amanda found each other, rebuilt their lives through their faith, and started their moving company with literally forty dollars to their name and a busted up Jeep Cherokee.

Amanda shared her gift for sitting with customers and enveloping them emotionally during one of the most stressful experiences a person can go through, while Rusty handled the physical labor of moving. We talked about their acronym SLEEP, which stood for sit, listen, endure, envelop, and pray, and how that philosophy shaped every move they completed. They opened up about parenting as a blended family, staying intentional with their kids despite the demands of a growing business, and how their employees became like family, showing up at their kids birthday parties and building real relationships.

This conversation reminded me that the people who change the world rarely do it loudly. They do it by showing up for one person at a time, in the middle of someone else's hardest day, and choosing to serve instead of seeking the spotlight. Rusty and Amanda's story is proof that broken pieces, in the right hands, can become something beautiful. I am so grateful they trusted me with their story, and I know it is going to plant a seed in someone listening today who needed to hear it.

ELLIOTT ARMY SERIES: Why Risk Takers Deserve to be Rewarded Ft. Danny Klein #16326 Jun 202600:42:43

In this episode, I sat down with Danny Klein for a conversation that took us through his entire journey, from selling cars in Northern Virginia to becoming a key leader within The Elliott Group. Danny opened up about the early days, working a brutal dealership job, barely scraping by on a $200 commission check, and the night he discovered Andy Elliot's videos on YouTube that changed the trajectory of his life almost overnight.

We talked about what it really took for him to go from selling six cars a month to becoming the number one salesman across two stores, and how that momentum carried him into one of the most painful seasons of his life, losing his father, and choosing to show up for himself anyway. Danny shared the call that brought him onto The Elliott Group team, the leap of faith it took to move to Arizona, and what it felt like to be thrown straight into the spotlight on his very first day.

Beyond the business milestones, this conversation went deep into identity, growth, and what it means to evolve from a rich mindset to a wealthy one. Danny got vulnerable about comparison, ambition, relationships, and the pressure that comes with watching your twenties turn into your thirties. We also talked about leadership, authenticity, and why real relationships matter more than a long list of acquaintances.
This episode was full of heart, hard earned wisdom, and honest reflection. Danny left us with a powerful reminder, do not put money on a pedestal, take the leap, and trust that the lessons from failure will always be worth more than staying still.

Finding Your Family Values Ft. Rich Lauro #16122 Jun 202600:36:55

In this episode, I sat down with Rich Lauro, owner of Beyond Limits Gym in Orlando, FL and Columbus, OH, for a conversation that went far beyond reps and sets. Rich shared how he left a corporate banking career to follow a passion for personal training, eventually building a thriving gym business rooted in community, discipline, and genuine human connection.

We talked about what it really means to provide life changing results, why local gyms offer something virtual fitness platforms can never replicate, and how his own comeback into bodybuilding 12 years later in life became a living example for his clients. We also dove into natural health alternatives, the dangers of chasing shortcuts in a social media driven fitness culture, and why resilience built in the gym carried over into every part of life.

The conversation turned personal as Rich talked about meeting his wife, the balance she brought to his intensity, raising two daughters, homeschooling through the pandemic, and the decision to uproot his family from Ohio to Florida in pursuit of growth. Through it all, one theme kept surfacing: stop just surviving and start choosing your environment, your people, and your purpose.

I loved this honest, heartfelt discussion about entrepreneurship, family, faith, and what it truly takes to help others transform their lives, one rep, one relationship, and one decision at a time.

In this episode, I sat down with Kobi Canderoma, co-host of the Corporate Athlete podcast and a sales professional within the Elliott Group ecosystem, for a conversation that goes far beyond business strategy.

Kobi opens up about growing up in Hawaii without a father figure, leaning on his grandparents and a baseball coach who poured life into him, and how those early lessons shaped the man he is today. He shares the raw story of nearly losing his first sales job, discovering Andy Elliott on YouTube with only months to spare, and how a thousand dollar seminar ticket changed the trajectory of his entire family. But what truly sets Kobi apart is not his sales numbers. It is his heart.

From the care he pours into every client relationship to the loyalty he shows his fiancé Savannah and their five year old daughter Soul, Kobi embodies what it means to lead with authenticity and love people well, even when it costs him.
In this episode you will hear about the power of betting on yourself when the odds are stacked against you, what it looks like to be a comeback kid in real time, and why the biggest piece of advice Kobi can give anyone is simple: stop waiting and send it.

How Will People Create Wealth if AI Does it All? Ft. Addam Kuzman #155 30 May 202600:42:00

In this episode of Revenue from Retention, I sat down with Addam Kuzman, entrepreneur, faith-driven leader, and AI business builder, for a wide-ranging conversation that goes far beyond the boardroom. Adam opens up about growing up as a troubled youth, the grandfather who shaped his work ethic, and the faith that continues to guide every decision he makes today.

From the lessons of parenthood to the moment he knew his wife was the one, Adam brings raw honesty and heart to topics that most business podcasts never touch. He also breaks down what his company is building in the AI space, specifically how agentic workflows and AI automation are leveling the playing field for small businesses like HVAC and roofing contractors who simply do not have time to answer every call.

The conversation naturally flows into the rapid rise of AI agents, the future of cashless society, the nostalgia of mall culture, and why Adam believes this wave of technology will actually bring more human connection rather than less. Whether you are a parent, an entrepreneur, a person of faith, or all three, this episode is a reminder that ambition and service are not opposites. They are the same calling.

ELLIOTT ARMY SERIES: Culture drives behavior Ft. Ali Hammoud #15427 May 202600:40:28

In this episode of The Elliott Army series, I sat down with Ali Hammoud, known as "The Prince," a Lebanese-born entrepreneur raised in West Africa who built his identity long before he ever set foot in the Arizona desert. Ali shares the full story: growing up in Benin speaking French and Arabic, competing as a national taekwondo champion, opening a seafood restaurant back home, and how a single midnight DM led him straight to the Elliott Group.

Ali gets candid about what it means to know who you are before the world tries to shape you, and why he has never tried to be anyone other than himself, even in one of the most intense work environments around. He walks through his father's "7-7-7" philosophy that now guides how he raises his own children, and reflects on the hollow feeling he experienced after winning a national championship without ever truly enjoying the journey, a lesson that now drives everything he does in business and in life.

Start Looking for Other Opportunities Around You Ft. Arthur Ballesteros #15325 May 202600:46:27

Arthur Ballesteros is a radio host turned content creator who has never been afraid to stand out from the crowd. From acting and music to stand-up comedy and radio in the San Francisco Bay Area, Arthur has spent his life mastering the art of storytelling and authentic self-expression. In this conversation, he opens up about what it truly means to know yourself, trust your instincts, and embrace the things that make you different even when the world tells you to fall in line.

At 40 years old, Arthur is in the middle of one of the biggest risks of his life, walking away from a comfortable decade-long radio career to build something of his own, all while raising a newborn in one of the most expensive cities in the world. He and his wife share a deep partnership built on trust, long-term vision, and a mutual belief that real fulfillment comes from chasing what sets your soul on fire. Arthur gets candid about the sleepless nights, the financial fears, and why he believes taking calculated risks is the only way to truly grow.

From decoding the Federal Reserve to making personal finance entertaining and accessible, Arthur is carving out a lane nobody else is occupying. He shares how growing up without financial literacy shaped his obsession with building wealth, how AI is reshaping the future of money, and why looking for the gaps, doing what others aren't, is where the real magic happens. Whether you're thinking about your next big leap or just need a reminder to bet on yourself, this episode will leave you fired up and ready to go.

ELLIOTT ARMY SERIES: Don't Get Stuck in the Negatives Ft. Sean Sanabria #15222 May 202600:32:25

I sat down with Sean Sanabria, one of the longest-tenured members of the Elliott Group, to explore his journey from aimless 19-year-old to top performer, coach, and self-described Renaissance man.

Sean opens up about discovering Andy Elliott on YouTube when he had just 4,000 subscribers, while Sean was broke, struggling with unhealthy habits, and working his first car sales job. What followed was four years of total immersion in a new way of thinking, traveling the country as Andy's videographer, and eventually rising to the sales floor.

But this conversation goes well beyond sales. Sean and I dig into the often-overlooked challenge of building a personal identity while working inside a high-profile brand, how easy it is to lose yourself in someone else's mission, and how the real work is figuring out who you are outside of it. Sean reflects candidly on spending most of his early 20s without that "gap year" to find himself, and the breakthroughs he's experiencing now.

How to Increase Pitching Velocity Ft. Scott & Lora Haase # 15120 May 202600:42:23

Most athletes are taught that if you want to get better, you just have to push harder. But what if that is actually the reason so many people plateau or get injured?

Scott Haase, known as the Velocity Doctor, has worked with over 1,100 pitchers across 16 years, helping athletes add serious velocity, often four plus miles per hour in as little as 90 days, without increasing injury risk.

Scott went from a college pitcher struggling with velocity to adding five miles per hour in a single offseason, and that transformation turned into a 16 year career helping over 1,100 pitchers do the same.

Now, through their health first system and global training community, they are helping athletes unlock more power with less effort and without sacrificing their long term health.
Scott’s wife Lora is also with us today has been on the journey with him, has supported his passion and helping people feel better and perform better.

This conversation is a thoughtful reminder that lasting success is built not on quick wins, but on the daily choices we make in how we show up for the people around us and the commitments we choose to honor.

ELLIOTT ARMY SERIES: Be a Part of Something Bigger Than Yourself Ft. Jessy Castillo Cruz #149 15 May 202600:30:05

In this episode, I sit down with Jessy, one of the earliest and most loyal members of the Elliott Group, for a conversation that goes all the way back to where it all started: a mile-long dealership in Oklahoma, where Andy was selling 60 to 70 cars a month from a folding lawn chair and Jacqueline was just coming on as BDC manager.

Jessy takes us through her journey from the auto industry to the mortgage world, and ultimately answering the call to join the Elliott Group in Arizona. She opens up about her military background, breaking generational cycles as the daughter of an immigrant family, and what it means to be the warm, grounding "Auntie Jessy" presence that people lean on behind the scenes.

ELLIOTT ARMY SERIES: Why Relationship Selling is Crucial to Business Ft. Jimmy & Deborah Le #14608 May 202600:35:00

What does it take to walk into a room, hand over your credit card, and say “We have no idea what you're selling but we're in”? For Jimmy and Deborah, it wasn't impulsiveness. It was pattern recognition. After years at the top of multiple industries, they knew what great leadership looked like and when they saw it, they moved fast.

In this episode, I sit down with Jimmy and Deborah Le, married business partners and two of the Elliott Group's most well-connected members, to talk about what it really means to build a business through relationships. From cold starts and humbling first months to mastering the art of networking in any room, they share hard-won lessons on finding your own voice, knowing your ideal client, and why the most important person in the room is often the loneliest.

They also get real about what makes working with your partner actually work, 16 years in, and why staying consistent, staying authentic, and being willing to suck before you get good might be the most underrated sales strategy of all.
