It's time to enter the homestretch of the Guy-bunal's Gamebreakers for this season. First up, a Making Memories that includes: the Beast of Africa (01:39); gambling on minors in the minors (06:44); and a brand new game called "Knueppel or K-nope-l?" (18:56). Then, it's this week's presentation featuring a Guy who broke a glass ceiling that someone had just left by the finish line of a race (26:09)? Who would do that??

This week the Guy-bunal saves the pre-game festivities for the main course. First up in Making Memories: James asks if you "Souvenez de ce Type (Inconnu)?" (1:24); Diaz makes sure that everyone is still feeling the Blues (5:19); and Xavier pays homage to a Guy who is no longer home on the Range(rs) (11:51). Then, when it's time for another Gamebreaking Guy, Diaz talks about one who shot from the hip and took a stand by staying seated (17:13).

The Guy-bunal continues to have a smashing time discussing games being broken this season. First off in Making Memories, Xavier throws some dirt on one postseason run that ended (1:29), as well as one that was at least still going at the time of recording (5:39); James takes the crew through the spin cycle with a recap of a Giro-ic effort (10:09); and Diaz tells everybody about why he's feeling Blue (24:01).

Then, Xavier takes the reins this week as a certain game is forever changed when an earthbound athlete takes one small jump for a man but one giant leap for Guy kind (29:02).

A new week means it's time for the Guy-bunal to put a new candidate to the testes. Plenty of thing are Making Memories for our crew this time, including: a Wumbo sized set of expectations for another season of the W (2:49); an editorial look at a second draft (9:28); and a baseball name that's in (medium) rare form (16:14). Then for the main course, James has a story about a pitcher who needed some balls to keep throwing strikes (17:43).

As the Guy-bunal reconvenes for a new era, they first check in with some Memories being Made: some footy finals (2:40), Korean idols (8:03), and delayed international arrivals (13:49). Then following some brief Big Structural Changes (22:19), Xavier uses both hands to serve up a striking Guy (24:13).

With the first round of May Madness behind them, the Guy-bunal buckles down as they run through the remaining matchups that will help determine their arbitrary champion, starting this week with the Round of 32 (17:35), a mishmash of the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 (53:02), a devastatingly difficult Final Four (1:13:32), and then a 3rd Place Championship (1:20:01) and Final Matchup (1:23:16) to determine who amongst the Hall of Guy inductees is the true Guy of Guys,

The Guy-bunal has returned, and to get back into the swing of things, it's time for some navel-gazing. After Making Memories turns into a surprise edition of 69 or 420? (02:05), the team has a new MM initialed segment: May Madness (30:09), an NCAA-style single elimination tournament featuring 68 of our favorite Hall of Guy inductees. Join Hosts James and Diaz as they, along with Very Special Guest Xavier, run through the first round in not one (33:55), not two (48:55), not three (1:01:32), but four (1:14:38) regions' worth of matchups before saving the subsequent rounds for next week.

After diving into some questions about John's discontinued delicacies (22:57), the Guy-bunal is ready to sample his flight of former fallow Orioles. He's got a spicy pick from the hot corner (37:07); a porcine one-time All-Star (41:54); and a raw prospect who unfortunately never got to cook (44:53). The Guy-bunal will need to chew on these selections for a moment (47:56); but after taking some time to mull it over, there's a clear selection for which career was on a Hall of Guy (gastrointestinal) tract. A paper tiger may be a symbol of false strength, but a cardboard Guy's power is very real, and the Guy-bunal knows just the pair to discuss such figures - this week Hosts James and Diaz along with Very Special Guest Xavier are thrilled to welcome the hosts of the 1988 Topps Podcast, David McEllis and Matt Kuzma!

First is truly the worst this week as the Guy-bunal reconvenes, with Hosts James and Diaz joined by Very Special Guest Xavier to discuss Guys Who Were Failed First Overall Picks.

James begins with this week's first overall Guy, a non-Laker from the shores of Ontario and Erie (13:49); Diaz has pick number two, a football Guy with two first names and zero self-awareness (36:33); and Xavier rounds things out with a Guy who ended up not just not being a jackpot, but being so bad as to inspire a lottery (1:10:12). All these Guys have been selected at least once by a number of franchises, but which one will be selected by the Guy-bunal for induction into the Hall of Guy? (1:34:04)

Like the great orator Yogi Berra once said, "the future ain't what it used to be", so today the Guy-bunal will look backwards for some other wise words instead as Hosts James and Diaz team up with Very Special Guest Xavier gather to discuss Guys You Don't Remember With Quotes You Do Remember.

Xavier gets us up and running with a Guy as good as gold many times over (14:21); James brings to the table a noted anti-imperialist from the baseball world (36:00); Diaz talks about how for some Guys, ball is not just life, but truth as well (58:53). Their quotes may have outlived their careers, but one of them will get an even more lasting legacy with induction into the Hall of Guy! (1:41:21)

Diaz brings a story from across the pond that goes beyond the pale (21:21); Xavier (46:57); and James presents history's only ever Detroit Liger (1:13:45). They may have each managed to get their one top seasons, but only one will spend the rest of their seasons enshrined in the Hall of Guy. (1:32:51)

Verdigris. Lime. Kelly. Neon. Emerald. Mean Joe. There are many shades of green in the world, and they're the focus this week for Hosts James and Diaz as they bring back Very Special Guest Xavier to discuss Guys For Whom The Grass Was Not Greener.

James clears the airspace about a story regarding baseball buyer's remorse (24:46); Diaz logs an entry about Guy who looked for a shade of green besides midnight (44:55); and Xavier gives us the long-awaited third volume of the Kill Bill saga (1:15:33). The grass these Guys sought might not have turned out to be greener, but maybe maroon and orange will better suit whoever can get to the other side of the Hall of Guy. (1:41:36)

There's a mental side to sports, sure - but is there a sports side to mentals? That's what the Guy-bunal is set to find out this week as Hosts James and Diaz get some help from Very Special Guest Xavier in discussing Mind Sports Guys.

Xavier is first on the docket with some show-stopping Shogi (15:56); James responds next in the form of a question (36:50); and Diaz makes the final move with one last Guy for us to check(mate) out (55:25). These Guys are all pretty smart, so hopefully it won't smart too much when only one of them is selected for induction into the Hall of Guy. (1:16:35)

What happens when Guys stop being polite, and start being real? This week the Guy-bunal sets out to answer that questions, as Hosts James and Diaz welcome back Very Special Guest Xavier so they can discuss Reality Competition Show Guys.

Xavier first introduces the category as well as a modern Gladiator that you might not have heard of (18:30); followed by Diaz and a Guy working in The Miz-ery business (40:31); James recounts one Guy's journey to the (Steel Demon) Mountaintop (1:14:20). No one has any kind of Immunity idol, so all of their fates will be up to the council that will determine who makes it into the Hall of Guy. (1:39:45)

Let no Guy be an island unto themselves this week - it's time for Hosts James and Diaz to team up with Very Special Guest Xavier to discuss a trifecta of Island Guys.

Diaz begins the conversation by setting a new PR for mentions of Puerto Rico (23:44); James brings a Guy hopping from island to island as much as Douglas MacArthur (43:40); and Xavier gets off on a technicality with the Korean Kurt Angle (1:02:21). The Hall of Guy may not be quite as isolated as the island homes of these Guys, but it's still tough enough for only one to find their way in! (1:28:44)

If you need to take your mind off of things, there's likely no better episode than this one wherein Hosts James and Diaz along with Very Special Guest Xavier will get down to discussing Sports-As-An-Escape Guys.

With the Host Diaz scattered to the winds for a week, Host James and Very Special Guest Xavier decide to take their Guy-bunal rubrics that have taken form over the past few years and apply them to a new pool of candidates, players eligible this year for induction into a different venerable institution - the Baseball Hall of Fame.

After explaining their premise (12:24), James and Xavier make their ballot for Guys that may not make it to Cooperstown but just might someday find their way to the nebulous geographic location of the Hall of Guy, including: a Tiger who changed his pinstripes (18:40), baseball's premier speed-runner (22:27), the man that crowned the Monarchs (27:35), the world's most crooked ballcap (32:53), Diaz's least phavorite Philly (35:12), an erstwhile Israeli (39:03), a Guy looking for elbow room (43:55), a misprinted prince of Denmark (46:20), un receveur québécois (50:28), and Baltimore's premier pie aficionado (55:11).

It's one better than ten, or at least that's what Hosts James and Diaz along with Very Special Guest Xavier are banking on as the Guy-bunal convenes for the 11th edition of Reliti-Guy-tion.

Some of the Guys considered include a known thief (15:13); an Argentine Owl (22:23); yet another Argentinian (26:04); a true Giant (29:10); a Phishy muse (32:50); and a Hurricane (37:47). They may have come up short on their first go round, but unless there are any objections, they should have no trouble this time finding their way into the Hall of Guy. (39:29)

It's not the longest episode, and it certainly doesn't have the most guests, but it is the biggest episode of RTG? yet as Hosts James and Diaz welcome Very Special Guest Xavier on the show so the three of them can take some time to discuss Big Guys.

Diaz is first up and brings in a real Giant struggling with their size (10:55); James stands tall with a typecast titan at tending goal (37:32); and Xavier gets a little sexy with it... well, not exactly little (57:02). This week, one dimensional isn't just something defined as a mathematical space in which location can be specified with a single coordinate; it's also a descriptor for the skillsets at the heart of this week's discussion between Hosts James and Diaz welcome back Very Special Guest Xavier as the Guy-bunal debates Guys Who Were Only Good At One Thing.

James begins the proceedings with a show-stealing Guy who's been running through their mind (21:13); Diaz gets the ball second and makes a passionate plea for an all-time glass polisher (42:19); Xavier takes a shot from way outside with a setpiece specialist (1:08:19). No need to have a diverse application this time - as long as just their one skill is good enough, just one Guy will make their way into the Hall. (1:26:48)

There'll be no discussion of revolutions or coups bloody or otherwise this week - instead, Hosts James and Diaz along with Very Special Guest Xavier will convene as the Guy-bunal to discuss Dynasty Buster Guys.

Xavier is the first to serve up and hold court on a challenger who bested a Big Three (19:45); James chronicles a life of ball and brotherly lover (47:50); and Diaz manages to find a bicoastal bum who battered the Bronx bombers (1:14:52). These three won't be up against any dynasties this time, but they will square off against one another to see which gains entry into the Hall of Guy. (1:40:07)

James begins with a booksmart ballplayer who parlayed that into working in intelligence (21:40); Diaz asks folks to lend an ear to the tale of (41:04); and Xavier wraps it up with an Olympian described in a three-act three-ring story (1:24:57). Multiple lives might be a package deal this time, but there will still only be one Guy that can make it into the Hall. (1:54:06)

James swaggers up to the line first with cocky, cockeyed, and confused sharpshooter (24:48); Diaz brings in a Guy who told some foul jokes that came to a head when he became the butt of one (49:15); and Xavier Spices up the final entry with a former lineman who has a talent for punchlines (1:26:23).
