Welcome to Ready for Love, the podcast for women who are ready to stop orbiting everyone else’s needs, expectations, and opinions and become the center of their own lives.
I created this show to to have counter-culture conversations on love, power and modern womanhood. Each episode turns your attention inward, toward the beliefs, patterns, choices, and self-betrayals shaping the life you have now, because when you change, everything in your life changes, too. And you can finally start creating the life you actually want.
Being ready for love reaches far beyond finding a romantic partner. It means becoming grounded enough to trust yourself, honest enough to face your own bullshit, and self-led enough to decide what belongs in your life. That includes the people you love, the work you pursue, the standards you hold, the pleasure you allow, and the future you are willing to create.
I spent 15 years as a clinical psychotherapist before becoming the paradigm-shifting, script-flipping life disrupter you hear today. I’m part woo, part neuroscience, and entirely uninterested in recycled advice about fixing yourself, becoming more palatable, or performing your way into someone else’s approval.
On Ready for Love, we challenge the ideas women have been handed about relationships, ambition, confidence, aging, anxiety, power, pleasure, success, and what it means to be a “good” woman. Some of those ideas may already feel uncomfortable. Good. Discomfort is often what happens when an old belief realizes it is about to lose its job.
This is your invitation to become self, centered: more self-trusting, self-aware, self-assured, and fully in possession of your own life. You are not here to shrink, settle, or spend another decade proving how much you can tolerate. You are here to become the woman who gets what she wants without abandoning herself along the way.
New episodes drop every Friday on all podcast platforms and YouTube.
Follow the show and leave a five-star review. Unless you hated it, in which case your mother was right: some thoughts are best kept to yourself.

Some women have been conditioned to be so grateful for the bare minimum that they’ve forgotten they’re allowed to expect more.
You feel relieved when he finally texts back. You thank your husband for taking care of the kids. You feel appreciated when your boss compliments your work, even though your paycheck hasn't changed. Sound familiar? These little moments can reveal where your standards have quietly slipped.
Ladies, it's time to raise the bar!
In this episode of Ready for Love, Hilary Silver challenges the kind of gratitude that keeps women settling for less in relationships, seeking external validation, and putting everyone else's needs first. We've been conditioned to feel lucky just to be chosen. But when did wanting more become something to feel guilty about?
Hilary shares five things women need to stop being grateful for and the mindset shifts that build self-worth, confidence, and higher standards in dating, relationships, and life. When you know your value, you stop chasing approval, accepting crumbs, and bending over backward to keep people happy.
You can appreciate what you have and still want more. The question is, are you ready to expect it?

#141: The Invisible Epidemic of High Functioning Burnout
vendredi 16 octobre 2026 • Durée 20:31
High-functioning burnout has a way of hiding behind success, especially for women who have spent their lives believing their worth depends on how much they achieve and how much they do for everyone else.
You're getting it all done. Work, family, deadlines, and a never-ending to-do list. Everyone thinks you've got it handled. And you do. So why are you so exhausted?
Hilary Silver is calling BS on the usual burnout advice. More self-care? Better boundaries? Another vacation? Please. None of that fixes the beliefs that keep high-achieving women stuck in overdrive.
Hilary explains how perfectionism, self-worth, and the need for validation fuel high-functioning burnout. She shares how to break the cycle of overachievement, stop feeling guilty about rest, and make real changes that last.
Because what's the point of all that success if you're too exhausted to enjoy it?
Episode Highlights
Why high-functioning burnout often goes unnoticed
The hidden cost of being the woman who does it all
How achievement becomes addictive for high achievers

#140: How To Actually Change And Grow
vendredi 9 octobre 2026 • Durée 15:57
Knowing your patterns is not the same as changing them, and real personal growth starts when you learn how to make different choices in the moments that matter.
On this episode of Ready for Love, Hilary Silver talks about why self-awareness can still leave you stuck and what it actually takes to create lasting personal growth.
She introduces the idea of your “growth edge,” the point where your comfort zone ends and a different response becomes possible. That edge may show up in a difficult conversation, a boundary, a relationship, or a decision you would normally avoid.
How do you know when you are being asked to grow? And how do you stop defaulting to the version of yourself you already know?
Hilary shares how to use your future self as a guide, why imperfect action still counts, and how small choices can build a new identity over time.
This episode is about self-improvement, personal growth, breaking old patterns, and becoming someone you can trust.

Why self-awareness alone doesn’t create change
How to recognize your personal growth edge
Choosing differently when old patterns take over

#139: Why You're Not Changing (Even Though You're Trying)
vendredi 2 octobre 2026 • Durée 19:02
You’ve spent years on personal growth and self-improvement, so why do you still feel stuck in the same patterns?
You’ve read the books. You’ve done the therapy. You know your attachment style, your childhood wounds, and exactly why you do what you do. But self-awareness doesn’t automatically create change.
On The Ready for Love Podcast, Hilary gets into why personal growth can stall even when you’re doing all the “right” things. Sometimes you’re using the wrong method. Sometimes you have the wrong person helping you. And sometimes the answer is harder to swallow: you know what needs to change, but you’re not actually doing it.
There’s another question worth asking: Has working on yourself become part of your identity? Getting help was never supposed to be the goal. The goal is to solve the problem and move on.
Real change happens when you take what you’ve learned in therapy, coaching, books, and journaling and actually use it. Tell the truth. Have the hard conversation. Take the feedback. Do the uncomfortable thing.
If you’re responsible for what happens next, you’re also the person who can change it.
Episode Highlights:
Why self-awareness doesn’t guarantee change
The three reasons personal growth can stall
Relief versus actually resolving the problem
When “working on yourself” becomes an identity
What being truly ready for change looks like

#138: This Is What a Real Friend Does When You Succeed
vendredi 25 septembre 2026 • Durée 17:09
Some of the most impressive women you know are keeping their best stories way too quiet.
We’re taught to be humble, play it cool, and avoid sounding full of ourselves. So we leave out the part where we built the business, made the comeback, crushed the goal, or became someone we’re damn proud of.
On The Ready for Love Podcast, Hilary Silver makes the case for a better kind of female friendship. If your friend won’t brag about herself, do it for her.
Hilary shares the story of a retreat where nine successful women finally said the things they normally leave out, plus the moment a close friend reminded her how powerful it feels to have someone else tell the full truth about who you are.
Women supporting women can look like encouragement, loyalty, and showing up when life gets hard. It can also look like saying, “Do you have any idea how incredible she is?”
Be the friend who says it out loud!
Episode Highlights:
Why successful women tend to downplay their accomplishments
What supportive friendship looks like beyond the hard moments
Why your friends may see your greatness more clearly than you do

#137: How Dare You Play Small! How to Take Your Power Back
vendredi 18 septembre 2026 • Durée 12:11
The words "how dare you" have been running your life since childhood, and Hilary Silver wants you to steal them back.
That phrase usually started with a parent, a sibling comparison, or a cultural expectation that taught you to stay small. Here's the thing: nobody has to say it to you anymore. You're doing it to yourself every time you consider asking for more, resting without guilt, or taking up space you've already earned.
I call this playing defense against your own life. So let's flip the question. What if "how dare you" became "I dare you"? What would you actually say, wear, or ask for if you stopped editing yourself for everyone else's comfort? On this episode of Ready for Love, I'm sharing two moments from my own life where I chose daring over "acceptable," plus the mantra that gets me through hesitation to this day.
Daring isn't a trait you're born with. It's a decision you make over and over, until that old voice loses its grip.
Episode Highlights:
Where "how dare you" really comes from, and why it was never about you
The moment self-judgment turns into self-sabotage
The one-word flip that turns doubt into a challenge
Two stories from Hilary's life where she chose daring over "acceptable"
The mantra Hilary swears by when she feels herself shrinking

#136: Attract Everything You Want In Life: Stop These Low-Vibe Behaviors (RERUN)
vendredi 11 septembre 2026 • Durée 16:44
Have you noticed women who seem to have a magnetic pull for love, success, opportunity, and good fortune? These women are living by prosperity codes: the identity-level standards that shape how high-vibe women think, act, and show up in their lives.
In this replay episode of Ready for Love, Hilary breaks down seven low-vibe behaviors that quietly drain your energy and keep you stuck: from complaining and blaming to seeking external validation, avoiding conflict, and giving advice nobody asked for.
These habits can be subtle. Complaining feels justified. People-pleasing can look like ambition. Avoiding a hard conversation can feel easier than speaking up. But each one gives away a little of your power.
Hilary shows you the code switch: take personal responsibility, stop outsourcing your self-worth, deal with problems instead of dwelling on them, speak your truth, and trust other people to live their own lives.
Episode Highlights
Stop complaining if you’re not changing it
How blame and excuses keep you stuck
The difference between pain and victim energy
Why external validation will never be enough
How conflict avoidance and unsolicited advice give away your power
Episode Breakdown
00:00 The prosperity codes high-vibe women live by
03:03 Drop blame, excuses, and defensiveness
04:07 Move out of victim energy
06:02 Stop outsourcing your validation
07:06 Worthiness vs. entitlement
09:14 Why avoiding conflict costs you
11:13 The control hiding inside unsolicited advice
13:40 Catch it, course correct, and move on
If you recognize yourself in one of these, don’t turn it into another reason to beat yourself up. Notice it, course correct, and move on. That’s how you start living like the woman who trusts herself to create what she wants.

#134: The Psychology of Women Who Get Everything They Want
vendredi 28 août 2026 • Durée 17:20
Getting everything you want starts with becoming the woman who trusts herself, chooses herself, and refuses to outsource her worth.
Some women seem to get what they want with ease. They make decisions without spiraling. They expect good things to happen. They hold their standards without guilt. And when life throws them a curveball, they trust themselves to handle it.
That kind of certainty isn’t luck. It comes from the way you think about yourself and the way you show up for yourself every single day.
Do you actually believe you deserve the love, success, money, and life you say you want? Or are you still putting yourself last, questioning every decision, tolerating things you don’t want, and waiting for your circumstances to change first?
In this conversation, I’m sharing the seven things I’ve noticed about women who get what they want. Because when you choose yourself, trust yourself, and take responsibility for what you’re creating, you stop waiting for life to give you permission. You become the woman who knows what she wants and believes she can have it.

#133: How I Quit Cardio and Got Super Fit Over 53
vendredi 21 août 2026 • Durée 32:32
At 54, Hilary Silver is in the best shape of her life, and the seven habits that got her there have very little to do with punishing workouts, restrictive diets, or obsessing over numbers.
After years of HIIT, running, restrictive diets, and relentless self-discipline, Hilary realized her approach to health was working against her. She felt depleted, recovery took longer, and staying fit had started to feel like one more way to be hard on herself.
So she changed the relationship she had with her body.
Hilary shares the seven habits that now shape her health and wellness after 50, including daily movement, strength training, intuitive eating, a protected morning routine, more play, more pleasure, and a commitment to having her own back. Her biggest shift is what she calls self-devotion. What happens when you stop forcing your body to comply and start trusting what it needs?
This is fitness after 50 without the obsession. Hilary still wants strength, energy, mobility, and a body that feels good to live in. She just refuses to punish herself to get there. And yes, coffee, cake, and a borderline ridiculous amount of pickleball all make the cut.
For women over 50 who are tired of rigid wellness rules, this episode offers a smarter and far more enjoyable way to think about exercise, healthy aging, and feeling your best.
