With Siakam back in the fold, the two discuss what it means for the rest of the team moving forward, specifically rookie forward Scottie Barnes, who continues to turn heads with his play.

They spin things forward to the week ahead, in which the Raptors take the floor three times to face some intriguing tests.

From early impressions of the young Raptors at the 2021 MGM Resorts NBA Summer league to player development ideologies and philosophies, Mitchell provides plenty of insight from his vantage point as a coach that has been hands-on with player development.

Mitchell, who has also worked with Canada Basketball for the last several years, also discussed the state of basketball in the country and the exciting prospect for basketball in Canada for the years to come.
