In today’s episode, we spoke with Aleks Svetski, the founder of Spirit of Satoshi, the Amber app, and Bitcoin Times. 

Aleks is known for being sneaky, straight to the point, and clear in his messaging. This has helped him emerge as an entrepreneur with previous ventures and knowledge in various fields. 

However, this also means that his persona often overshadows his success online because he doesn’t shy away from calling out things he doesn’t like. This led to him being known as the Bushido of Bitcoin. 

It didn’t stop him from succeeding and coming up with new ideas to help out the ecosystem. One of these ideas was Spirit of Satoshi. A Bitcoin-centric AI, that will enable businesses and projects to grow faster and to be fed the right information.

In today’s episode, we spoke with Dawdu, a Bitcoin writer based in Boston and founder of the Bitcoin Source podcast. 

Dawdu used to work in TradFi and first heard of Bitcoin through a co-worker. During the 2017 bull run, he got more interested but was sidetracked by the ICO hype. 

It took him another three years, until the pandemic, to rediscover Bitcoin. This time, he stayed and used his free time to dive down the rabbit hole. 

He became part of the Black Bitcoin Billionaire crew on Clubhouse and started writing more content for the African-American community.

In today’s episode, we spoke with Ella Hough, a student at Cornell University and a core part of the Generation Bitcoin organization. 

Ella initially learned of Bitcoin through a high school class on blockchain. However, taught through a perspective of NGU (“number go up”), it didn’t resonate. 

Once she continued to look into Bitcoin, she realized there was more to it than price. Attending the Oslo Freedom Forum, Ella discovered FGU (“freedom go up”). FGU and her since discovery of KGU (“knowledge go up”) made Ella realize she wanted to commit her energy to the Bitcoin mission. 

Nowadays, she’s trying to orange pill her university, a leading institution in blockchain, and is eager to get more of her generation on board.
