In this deeply moving episode, I sit down with Dr. Robin Braun to explore the journey of healing from eating disorders, perfectionism, and performance-based identity — through the transformative love of Father God.

Dr. Braun shares her unique path into inner healing, combining tools like frequency work, muscle testing, and deliverance ministry with her work as a licensed professional counselor. Her approach has helped countless individuals break free from trauma and step into true identity and wholeness.

Cecilia and I have an amazing conversation of what it means to be an undocumented young girl crossing the US/Mexico border repeatedly over the course of her childhood. Cecilia says that our childhood years are our most formative ones and the manner in which we process information is impacted by our parents and other influential adults, culture and other factors that stick with us into adulthood. Her childhood was filled with lies she had come to believe about herself. Those lies held her hostage and hindered Cecilia from living the life God purposed and fashioned specially for her. In each seismic event she encountered during adulthood, Cecilia could feel herself being stripped of all the masks she wore in an attempt to protect some fictitious version of herself.

Cecilia's hope is that her book, Fighting for an Identity, will help others live a life free of the lies that have held them captive. Our conversation details what it means to come into true understanding of our identities in Christ and how intricately woven together our lives are by God.

Faith and I discuss her amazing testimony of her childhood wounds leading into bad decisions of drug usage, going to prison and finding Jesus at rock bottom. Her amazing testimony is one of true redemption of how a loving God picks up from our mess and turns it into victory. Faith has survived multiple health issues and been completely healed from heart surgery, Stage 3 lung cancer along with Hepatitis B and C.

Beth and I have a beautiful conversation about the vision of Kingdom Winds (a partner of the Pursuing Redemption podcast) and the amazing journey of marriage and how God can transform any marriage.

Elizabeth (but you can call her Beth) considers herself a “crazy cat-lady,” mostly minus the “crazy.” As empty nesters, Gary and Beth can now justify filling their home with furry felines. Beth cut her professional teeth in the banking world and is thrilled to now be surrounded by writers and other creatives, furthering the Kingdom. Her long-standing love of books is evident in both the use of her free time and the overflowing bookshelves within their home. Although Beth occasionally still enjoys a gripping novel, most of her current reading is focused on expanding her understanding of Father and growing in Him. One of her greatest joys is helping collective members realize both their God-given potential and dreams. As a Consul (ESFJ), Beth is comfortable in her role as evangelist for KW.
