Hello Sports fans. Phantoms back on this one so we have had to mark it as EXPLICIT! If you have little kids around, put headphones on. Last week was some crazy point margins, 66 to nil and 74 nil but that's nothing to Phantoms 96 nil against Como when he was a kid and he tells us all about it.

Well, that is it listener, we have come to the end of NRL season 2022. The Panthers won in a fizzer of a game Congrats to them and for Paramatta, there is always next year.

We find ourselves at the pinnacle of excitement as we have reached the finals of the NRL football season! This is the moment we've all been waiting for, where the culmination of months of intense competition, dedication, and passion for the game has led us to this thrilling juncture. So, sit back, relax, and tune in as we dive into a comprehensive discussion of all the exhilarating games that have unfolded in this electrifying NRL season.

This one had to be explicit. With final footy in full swing and emotion's running a little high. there was no way to cut around the language in this week's episode so we just left it all it (almost all of it).

So, if you usually listen to this with your kids, first why, and secondly don't do that normally, and definitely don't do that with this one!

The boys are back again this week and we are chatting about the games from round 17 and of course game 3 of state of origin, I have limited the boys to only 10 minutes to talk about the game otherwise smokes could have done a solid hour just talking about how good the game was. To be fair it was a great game, but at least now we are just under a year away from having to talk about origin again!

We talk about the two games that were played in the Preliminary final. We discussed how surprised we were with the defence of the Panthers who beat the storm. And we reminisce about our teams in their former glory days when they would win grand finals twice in a row.

We go through our beer bets and place our final ones for the year. Congrats to Smokes for basically winning a case of beer at the Principals expense. Somehow the Phantom gets away with what he started with, which is surprising considering how bad he is a tipping the games and that Smokes and the Principal placed about half of his bets the season.

This round has a few interesting games. Raiders v Storm, Is the only game where Adam and The Principal picked differently with their tips. So someone is going to be in the lead.

Also Broncos, Roosters Play so its Smokes team vs The Phantom team. So that will be a good one to hear about next week.

A Podcast where old mates from high school meet up to talk about Rugby League.  This podcast Principal is over the moon with the raiders win against the ells. The entire podcast could have been him going talking about it but we wrapped him up and talked about other things.

Because the Raiders went well, the Principal got a perfect round last week. The first one any of us have got this year! We discussed the rest of the games from round 19 and The Phantom provided his wrap up again this week, Only problem was it was read out by smokes. Maybe next week he will grace us with his presence or voice!

We cover some news headlines from the week that was, Bulldogs get Phil Gould as General Manager. Bellamy signs on to coach the Melbourne Storm for another 5 years, Kinda. Hello sports fans and welcome to the 19th episode of Pub Talk Rugby league. A Podcast where old mates from high school meet up to talk about Rugby League.  This podcast we wrap up the games from round 18 that were played in Queensland because of the Covid pandemic and lockdown in Sydney and NSW.

Smokes rants a bit about his Broncos and the battering they got from the West Tigers, in a game all four of us tipped Broncos and the game that ruined The Principal from getting a perfect round. As the Covid-19 Pandemic continues we talk about how its continuing to to change the game. Today, WAG and families were allowed to join players up in Queensland.

We are a week from State of Origin so we still spend a fair bit of time discussing when is the best time for the origin to be played and what impact it has on the rest of the competition. And we discuss players moving between teams and how much that will cost them and the teams. As well as the ‘reserve grade’ brain snap of Lachlan Lewis’s beef with Cody Walker and the all-time brain-fade UFC move on his opposite number.
