S3E10 Come CLIMAX with Kosmick23 Oct 202600:45:12

Kosmick, the resident rope instructor at Probe, joins us in the bondage bed, and ties us up in the process. They share how a childhood of getting captured by pirates in make-believe games grew into a life in rope, and how a self-tie practice during the pandemic led them to teach.

Kosmick, Jamie and Miel get into power exchange, loving cruelty, and why the real story of a rope scene lives in the flow between partners rather than the finished tie. This very intimate, and very playful conversation is a reminder that sometimes the best way to figure something out is to just start doing it.

Key topics

  • Learning rope before there were local teachers
  • Power exchange and why letting go feels so freeing
  • Loving cruelty and the caretaker side of topping
  • Daddy, deity and goddess energy in power exchange
  • Flow tying versus structured ties
  • Organic, asymmetrical rope inspired by Kanoko
  • Taking rope off with intention

About Kosmick

Kosmick (they/them) has been getting tangled in knots most of their adult life, with an interest in the beauty and narrative power of bondage reaching back into childhood stories of damsels in distress. They began studying rope bondage in 2011, and intensified that study in 2016 after joining the Ottawa BDSM community.

As an instructor, Kosmick takes an approach of breaking down classic structures and forms, with an emphasis on *why* things are tied the way they are, and an examination of the decision making processes of a tie. They are committed to demystifying rope bondage and empowering learners at all levels to experiment with what they know and pursue avenues to have fun with their rope. They view rope as a tool of expression, and look to inspire others to build connection and intimacy through their tying.

S3E8 Come CLIMAX with Muse16 Oct 202600:49:17

Muse joins us in the bondage bed to talk about squirting, art and the politics of pleasure. She shares how squirting for the first time at thirty brought tears, then rage at everything she had been told about her body growing up. That rage turned into sixteen years of workshops, story-gathering and paintings made from the moment itself.

Muse, Jamie and Miel get into the myths and science of squirting, porn as reclamation, and why joy, kink and psychedelics are political. They also take on the manosphere, unpacking why the men chasing alpha status might be more submissive than they think. This bold, unapologetic conversation challenges us to stop letting shame write the rules, and to imagine power that is shared rather than held over us.

Key topics

  • The myths, misinformation and science of squirting
  • Squirting, orgasm and the many paths to pleasure
  • Squirt painting
  • Pornography as agency and reclamation
  • Joy, kink and pleasure as political acts
  • Sex, psychedelics and consent
  • Patriarchy, matriarchy and dismantling hierarchy
  • Relationship anarchy and choosing power dynamics
