Prana Vidya16 Jun 202300:08:23

Prana vidya, or the science of the life force, focuses on accessing the dormant energy within the individual and the cosmos. It involves practices designed to awaken prana, raising and storing it, and expanding and distributing it internally, throughout the body, and externally. Prana vidya involves the pranic body, where the chakras and nadis reside. By increasing the store of prana in the body, pranic awareness becomes refined, and the pranic flow is experienced as currents of energy and visualised as particles of light flowing through the nadis. Prana vidya practices involve ajna chakra, which serves as the temporary storehouse and distribution centre for prana.

By using the chakras and nadis to identify and influence energy patterns in the body, individuals can experience prana as pure light, connecting them to the source of life and consciousness and merging with cosmic energy. By practicing prana vidya, a deeper understanding and higher level of consciousness emerge, resulting in a sense of being reborn.

The 8 Limbs: Pratyahara09 Sep 202200:04:47

The 8 Limbs: Pratyahara

In our chaotic world, we often neglect our internal landscape, fixated on external distractions. But to thrive in meditation, we must learn to withdraw our minds from the ceaseless stream of sensory input. Easier said than done, especially for the easily distracted.

Our minds, like mischievous children, have a knack for defying our intentions. Blocking out stimuli only makes them stronger. Yet, there's a secret—a practice called Pratyahara. It's about losing track of our surroundings, immersing ourselves in the present moment without intellectualising external stimuli.

Through techniques like Antar Mouna, we unlock the door to Pratyahara's tranquil realm, preparing ourselves for profound meditation. External disturbances fade away, akin to drifting into a peaceful slumber.

But to master Pratyahara, we must find comfort in stillness, free from pain or discomfort. It's through this bodily training that we can dive deeper into self-exploration.

Join us as we unravel techniques to guide our focus inward—our breath, sensations, sounds—satisfying the wandering mind while maintaining control. Claim mastery over your consciousness and unlock the secrets of Pratyahara.

The 8 Limbs: Pranayama

We dive deep into the captivating realm of Pranayama—the fourth limb of yoga. Pranayama isn't just about regulating breath; it's the art of controlling vital and psychic energy, the prana.

Through the stages of inhalation, retention, and exhale, we activate the prana, purify our energy pathways, and align our chakras. By integrating pranayama before meditation, we enhance concentration and unlock higher states of consciousness.

As we advance, pranic flow transforms, unleashing quantum energy and unlocking extraordinary experiences. We'll be sharing pranayama videos for you to explore these practices firsthand.

Chapter 4 of the Haṭha Yoga-pradīpikā reveals the blissful experiences and divine transformation that await. A Yogī's body becomes radiant, healthy, and emits an ethereal aura. The heart becomes a realm of emptiness.

The Yamas, outlined in Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga, comprise five principles:

The Yamas create a sanctuary within, fostering elevated consciousness and tranquility. Embrace these principles and witness the alignment of mind, body, and spirit.

Reprogramming Your Mind14 Jul 202200:23:58

Most of us have lives that are like the output of a broken computer. Now, in most cases, it's not the brain itself that's wrong; it's the programme in the mind. In other words, if we want our lives to have meaning, we have to change the way our minds work. All of our unhappiness and pain in life comes from the wrong mental programme that we have slowly built up since birth. If you change the way your mind works, you can start living a happier, and more meaningful life. With a well-trained mind, this world can be like heaven on earth. A mind that isn't well-trained can turn this world into hell. When we harmonise our minds to our surroundings, we automatically feel happy. Happiness comes from inside, not from changing the world to fit our needs. By reprogramming our minds, we can find lasting happiness within ourselves.

Chakras Nadis and Psychic Centres07 Jul 202200:22:16

The universe exists on multiple levels at once. Every item or entity on the physical plane has a counterpart on the more subtle planes, and life and activity are very comparable.
Psychic matter is thought to be formed of smaller particles than protons, electrons, and neutrons and to move faster than light. You can also believe in subtler levels than the psychological, but they can't be described with science. The mental and causal planes are well-known.

The psychic realm is above the physical. It has many similarities to the physical world, and most people experience psychic phenomena occasionally. When a person is sleeping, passes out, or suffers a strong physical or emotional shock, this happens. Drugs can also cause spontaneous psychic visions. Psychic awakening causes intuition, "spiritual experiences," and visions.

Meditation and Health23 Jun 202200:12:38

Meditation is a holistic treatment for disease. It is a more comprehensive treatment than medications, which tend to treat the symptom of the sickness, but can have unintended harmful side effects in other regions of the body. There are numerous examples of this.

Meditation returns the treatment to the patient. The patient will be able to exert more control over their own health in order to treat the cause of the illness. The treatment will address the entire mind-body system. Through the practise of meditation the mind may be educated to heal the disease, but first one must learn to meditate and have more control over the mind-body system. When we are aware of the internal development of the mind and body, we can channel energy to where they are needed the most.

Infinite Knowledge Exists Within Us17 Jun 202200:08:56

Great spiritual leaders throughout history have argued that infinite knowledge exists within us. That what is outside is also inside.

It’s thought that every cell within us contains total knowledge of our past, containing memories of everything that has happened in each individual’s existence. Not just from this life, but from every life ever lived. That could be either an earth life or a spiritual life.

Meditation and Biofeedback23 Aug 202100:06:51

From a scientific point of view, we can look at meditation as biofeedback. This is the way we measure and monitor electrical waves that are emitted from the brain - brain waves.

Here we will explore the 4 main types of biofeedback - Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta and how they can be impacted by meditation

Introduction to Yoga Nidra: What is Yoga Nidra11 Jul 202100:06:53

What is Yoga Nidra? What is Psychic Sleep? Why do it?

Yoga Nidra is known as psychic sleep. When we practise yoga Nidra we are activating the Theta Brainwaves and move into a lucid dreamlike state while maintaining awareness of the body. Here we can access and change the deeper parts of our being. 1 hour of yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep sleep. Get a deeper understanding of this ancient practise here.

The difference between active and passive meditation02 Jul 202100:04:40

There are two main types of meditation,  ACTIVE and PASSIVE. Passive is the kind that most people do through mindfulness and general meditation. ACTIVE is the ultimate goal, being able to exist in a constant state of meditation whiles performing day to day activities in the modern world.

If we can master the passive meditation we can achieve active meditation which will ultimately lead us to a higher state of vibration.

Introduction to meditation29 Jun 202100:04:21

Meditation is something that most people have heard about, few have any true conception about and even fewer have actually experienced.

The whole point of meditation is to transcend the rational mind. We can do this when we divide the mind into three main parts, Lower, Middle and Higher.
What happens when we meditate and which part of our mind is activated?

If you've ever wondered what the point of meditation is or how to do it, we have some answers here.
