You might automatically assume that a school is interested because they follow you on social media, but how much interest does that really communicate?

Are you staying in touch and engaging consistently with college coaches?

Keep it simple - but it does take work!

Today on the show we are talking about all of the programs being cut and what the fall may or may not look like.  

Talking about NIL today!  It's certainly an interesting topic and one that isn't going away for college athletes.  One school, at least, is taking a proactive approach.  

Asking this question - who was more prepared for June 15th?  I wanted to give as much feedback and information as possible, as well as looking at this notion of "slowing things down" in recruiting.  

Today is June 15th a very exciting day for the 2022 class.  This morning we are talking about finding our VALUE as a person and discussing the possibility that athletes will NOT be able to take visits this fall season.

May is a D1 quiet period.  It's important to talk a little bit about what these terms mean and how they impact you.

It can be hard to sift through all the camp invites and emails sometimes.  There are a few things that we can point to in regards to HOW interested a school is, even for those athletes prior to June 15th.  Post June 15th it can be a little easier to figure it out.  This is a complex topic, so I hit as many things as I could in 6 minutes :) Please feel free to reach out or check out PRIVolleyball.com blog page for more info.

This part is important.  UA is another tool.  One you will want to stay on top of.  

When they come to your court, what are they looking for? What are they watching for? Are they just standing around talking and flipping through social media on their phones? (No, but I know it looks like that sometimes, haha)

This is a question I get all the time from college coaches and it's something that I address regularly to parents and athletes.  Yes, you can answer this question, even as a Freshmen or Sophomore in high school.  

We can get stuck in a specific stage of the recruiting process.  Here are some tips on navigating through that if you feel like you're stuck.  

I get asked this questions a lot.  Every sport handles recruiting differently.  It's something to keep in mind.

Another great question.  I would argue that stats aren't quite as important as you might think...Neither are rankings.  

One of the more basic scholarship questions that is communicated incorrectly in the volleyball world.  

This is a question I get a lot.  The answer is the foundation and usually the cause of most of the exposure you will get.
