Saw X is a 2023 American horror film and the tenth installment in the Saw film series, that serves as both a direct sequel to Saw (2004) and a prequel to Saw II (2005). It is directed and edited by Kevin Greutert and written by Peter Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg. It is also based on that of Bernard Jordan, who was 89 years old when he made his journey to France.[4] Another forthcoming film based on Jordan's story, The Last Rifleman starring Pierce Brosnan, is also expected to be released in 2023.[5] The film stars Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson. The Great Escaper had its world premiere at BFI Southbank on 20 September 2023, and was released in the United Kingsom on 6 October 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is Jackson's last film: she died in June 2023, nine months after she finished filming her part. Suggestions that it might also be Caine's final film were dispelled by Caine, who stated he will commence filming in January 2024 on a project about Charles Darwin.

Infinity Pool is a 2023 science fiction horror film written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, starring Alexander Skarsgård, Mia Goth and Cleopatra Coleman. The film follows a struggling writer and his wife on vacation who, after an accident, discover the country's dark culture. Cronenberg started developing the project in 2019, with production later being pushed back to 2021. Much of the cast joined the project that year and filming took place primarily in Šibenik, Croatia.
