In this episode I cover the pathophysiology of acute coronary syndrome, a spectrum of disease affecting cardiac muscle when blood flow is altered through cardiac coronary arteries.
I will link some of the pathophysiology to some of the common signs and symptoms that might present with ACS patients, to provide a rationale and therefore help the symptoms stick in working memory.

Family history
I will also break down the complex process into digestible steps in order to aid your understanding and further study.
Finally I will discuss how the development of atherosclerotic plaques cause many of the conditions we may come across in the out-of-hospital medical environment, including:
Acute Coronary Syndrome

Aneurysm and dissection
