Saison 3 · Épisode 5

mardi 18 novembre 2025Durée 38:16

In this episode, Kimberley Andrews interviews playwright Tom Woffenden about the journey of his play, Cockfosters, which began as a new play and is due to open for a five week run at Southwark Playhouse this December.

Cockfosters opens on 4th December 2025

1 Tube Carriage. 38 Stops. 0 Refunds.

After five sell-out runs, London’s ★★★★★ “screamingly funny” (The Prickle) smash-hit comedy COCKFOSTERS returns to Southwark Playhouse Borough.

Strangers James and Tori meet at Heathrow and take the Piccadilly Line across London on a journey they’ll never forget. Perfectly capturing our love-hate relationship with the tube, COCKFOSTERS is a brilliantly off-the-rails comedy that will change your commute forever.

So top up your Oyster, mind the gap and hop aboard the tube journey of a lifetime!

Please note that ticket prices may change due to demand and we recommend early booking.

Interview with Scott Younger about his new play Champagne

mardi 30 septembre 2025Durée 43:50

In this episode Kimberley interviews playwright, Scott Younger about his new play, Champagne which is being performed as part of this year's Grim Fest.

---------------------------------------------

Murder, a vampire and sparkling, lethal white wine…

Vampire Count Stabbenspine visits his dear childhood friend, Duchess Marguerite, but brings a terrible curse. Can the duchess’ son Edvin save his mother and her disgraced-sledger-manservant Igor from the terror in the night?

Champagne brings horror, comedy and pure entertainment to the stage, packed full of horror-genre quirks, both verbal and physical comedy, larger-than-life characters and camp spectacle with a flourish. Join this comedy ensemble for big laughs and bold characters in a show audiences have called the perfect comic homage to gothic horror.

Following performances at various London scratch nights pre-pandemic, Champagne premiered to a sell out audience as a rehearsed reading at The Red Lion Theatre during their Grim Fest Festival in October 2023.
