| EP 141: Stay Loose, Stay Patient: Yin and Chacarra Take Home Wins | 21 oct. 2026 | 00:16:50 | |
Ruoning Yin wins again on the LPGA, Eugenio Chacarra took the win on the DP World Tour in India, and both showed us the same thing: you don’t win by forcing it. This week, Scott recaps both tours and turns it into something you can use on your next range session. Admire or Emulate? Absolutely Emulate: Ruoning Yin. What a golf SSWING. Yin’s ball flight and control have at its foundation sound functional movement. That ability to move and consistently return “face less than path” is at the heart of what we say at SSWING: muscles respond to joint positioning; get your body in the correct posture and the club finds its way back to the ball, time and time again!! The Improvement Pivot Point: Stay loose, stay patient. Tension in your hands and arms kills sequencing, and rushing your swing (or your progress) costs you control. Let your body lead and give the work time to pay off.

| EP 140: Perseverance Wins: Five Tours, Five Winners | 08 oct. 2026 | 00:32:29 | |
Five tours, five winners, and one common thread: the people who win are the ones who keep showing up. Jeeno Thitikul put a tee shot in the water on 16 at the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii, then answered with a birdie on 17 to win her fourth LPGA title of 2026 and 11th of her career. Adrian Meronk came from four shots back to win the Alfred Dunhill Links, ten years after his pro debut at the same event, and became the first Polish golfer to win at St Andrews. Sandy Scott won the Korn Ferry Tour's Compliance Solutions Championship in a four-hole playoff, his second straight win, after two wrist surgeries kept him out for about a year and a half. Austin Smotherman earned his first PGA Tour title in his 100th start in Utah, bouncing back from a double bogey on 13 to finish at a tournament-record 26-under. And on the Champions Tour, Steven Alker took his third win in four starts, with Michael Block finishing third. That brings us to our Improvement Pivot Point this week: Perseverance. Staying the course, working through challenges, believing in yourself, and grinding it out. Then we get real about movement. Most of us aren't likely to move like Rory or Scheffler, and with jobs, families, and real life, none of us has eight hours a day to practice. So what's worth borrowing from the best players in the world, and what should you leave on the range? The answer starts with how you move.

| EP 139: Medinah Magic, Admiring Gotterup & an 8-Year-Old's Hot Take | 30 sept. 2026 | 00:23:42 | |
The Presidents Cup delivered one of the wildest final days in years — down 10.5 to 7.5 heading into Sunday singles, the U.S. stormed back at Medinah to retain the Cup. Scott breaks down the comeback and why Chris Gotterup deserves a hard look this week — not because you should copy his swing, but because you should admire his brute strength, timing and athleticism. Gotterup's move is unorthodox by any textbook standard — super strong grip, cupped wrist and open face at the top, a downswing start most coaches would never teach — and it works because it's built entirely around what his body does well. So this one is definitely an Admire, not emulate.

| EP 138: Why JJ Spaun's Rotation Is Worth Emulating | 23 sept. 2026 | 00:26:28 | |
We start this episode with the week's winners. On the Korn Ferry Tour, Scotland's Sandy Scott erased a four-shot deficit with a final-round 65 to win the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship at 18-under, earning his 2027 PGA Tour card. On the PGA Tour, Jacob Bridgeman rallied from five shots back with a career-best 61 to win the inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville by two, his second win of 2026. And on the DP World Tour, JJ Spaun won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in his first attempt at the tour's flagship event, making four birdies in his last five holes to win by two shots. That brings us to Spaun's golf swing, and why it's a model worth studying. The philosophy is simple: when you rotate well through the left side, the clubface doesn't have to do much, and that makes the ball so much easier to control. Scotty breaks down how Spaun's thoracic mobility and hip mobility work together to create that stable, repeatable rotation, and what amateur golfers can learn from it to simplify their own swing and gain more control.

| EP 137: Calm in the Corner: The Quiet Side of Improvement | 16 sept. 2026 | 00:29:43 | |
Our improvement pivot this week comes from the tennis world and the US Open men's final. Ben Shelton didn't win on Sunday — Zverev took it in four — but if you were watching the box, you saw the real story. Bryan Shelton, Ben's dad and coach, sat through two weeks of 3 a.m. finishes, a five-set war with Alcaraz, and a final that slipped away, and never changed his face. No panic, no theatrics. Just steady, pragmatic presence. We discuss why the people around you (and the voice in your own head) matter as much as your mechanics. Then on to the golf recap: Shane Lowry won the Amgen Irish Open 17 years after winning it for the first time, pulling away for a seventh-career DP World Tour win in an 11-shot rout over Joaquin Niemann and Patrick Reed — including a course-record 62 at Doonbeg. Over in the Netherlands, Europe reclaimed the Solheim Cup, 15-12. On the Korn Ferry Tour, Alvaro Ortiz shot 26-under to win the Simmons Bank Open in Franklin, Tennessee, with a 61 in round two. Admire & Emulate: Shane Lowry. We're choosing to sit back and “admire” Lowry's swing this week, not one to emulate — we know that muscles respond to joint positions and like a few other quirky swings that work on tour, his curved lower spine sets the tone for a lift going back, a face that opens and arms that take over coming into and through impact…… when timing is on, he can lead by 11, but when those hands and timing is not quite on, the moving parts at times can get out of sink and cause the ball to not behave as desired….. but that is where attitude, self belief and patience step up to the plate. Sound familiar? Steady, pragmatic, no theatrics — Bryan Shelton would approve. | EP 136: Does Scottie Scheffler Have a Swing You Want to Copy? | 02 sept. 2026 | 00:36:43
Scottie Scheffler closed out the FedEx Cup at East Lake, rallying from three back with a final-round 66 for his second FedEx Cup title and 22nd PGA Tour win. This week Scott breaks down what actually separates Scheffler from the rest of the tour — it's not the longest swing or the prettiest one, it's what happens between his ears when the tournament's on the line. Scott gets into the nervous system side of it: sympathetic vs. parasympathetic response, and why a golfer who can stay regulated over a shot has a real physiological edge when everyone else's nerves are spiking. Scheffler hits it a mile, but that's not the superpower — the short game and the calm are. Then it's on to Admire or Emulate: Scheffler's swing is quirky — a little armsy, far from textbook — with real ankle mobility off-setting his tight hips. Scott makes the case for why "hit it like Scottie" is the wrong takeaway, and why the calm and the short game are what's actually worth chasing. Plus, on the DP World Tour: Joe Dean, a 32-year-old former grocery delivery driver ranked 292nd in the world, comes from seven shots back with 11 birdies in his final 24 holes to win the Husqvarna British Masters. Two wildly different stories, one theme — golf rewards whoever can stay in the moment on Sunday.

| EP 135: How Clark Won the BMW — Breaking Down a Champion's Swing | 26 août 2026 | 00:26:42 | |
This week on the pod, we're breaking down one of the gutsiest closes we've seen all year — Wyndham Clark held off Rory McIlroy at the BMW Championship, giving back a five-shot lead before closing with three straight birdies to win by three. Third win of his season, plus the U.S. Open, and he's punched his ticket to the Presidents Cup team. From there, we're kicking off a brand new segment: Emulate or Admire. Each week we'll break down a PGA Tour victor's swing — not to copy it move-for-move, but to pull out the pieces worth studying and why they work. First up: Wyndham Clark. We're getting into his tempo, his lower-body sequencing, and what let him repeat his swing under pressure even after a rocky start Sunday — because that's the biomechanics story here as much as it is the golf story. Plus — a quick shoutout to Scott Jamieson's win at the Nexo Championship, his first DP World Tour title in almost 14 years, and closer to home, the U18 Australian women's water polo team who beat Spain in the final to become world champions — way to go Team Cooke! | EP 134: Why Consistency Is Key | 18 août 2026 | 00:14:38
Kelly Slater goes wave-for-wave with surfers half his age at the WSL Tahiti Open, finishing 9th at 54 years old. Jeff Winter ends a 5-year drought at the Danish Open. Ross Streelman locks up his 2027 PGA Tour card. Jeeno Thitikul picks up win #3 on the LPGA. And World #1 Scottie Scheffler dominates round one of the playoffs by 8 shots — proof that his 2026 season has been built on consistency, not just trophies. This week's Improvement Pivot Point: Consistency Is Key — how showing up the same way every time, in the gym and on the course, is what separates the good from the great. Own Your SSWING. | EP 133: A Quick Round Is A Good Round | 11 août 2026 | 00:24:53
This week on Pivot The Path, we're coming off a wild final round at the Wyndham Championship — the last stop before the FedEx Cup Playoffs field gets locked in. Michael Brennan once again proved his nerve under pressure, with a final round -6, including 5 consecutive birdies to hold off a strong, albeit, up and down round from Beau Hossler - searching for his maiden victory. As a family business, we sincerely find joy in Mum and Dad being the first to congratulate their son with the powerful words, “We’re going to the Masters”. Trophies and checks are nice - a strong family unit is key!! On the flip side, Brooks Koepka walked off Sedgefield admitting he has no confidence over the ball right now. Same sport, same pressure, two completely different results. That contrast is exactly where we're headed this week: A quick round is a good round. The research backs up what we preach at SSWING: the best players commit to their pre-shot in 10-15 seconds increments. No hovering, no second-guessing. Under pressure, golfers tend to start overthinking their mechanics instead of trusting them — and that's when things fall apart. Speed isn't about rushing. It's about not giving doubt a seat at the table.

| EP 132: It's Not How Far, It's How Precise | 04 août 2026 | 00:14:06 | |
Michael Thorbjornsen finally broke through in Detroit — a bogey-free, career-low 63 to win his first PGA Tour title at the last-ever Rocket Classic, running down third-round leader Davis Riley. His words after the win say it all: "It doesn't matter how far you hit it. It matters if you can hit certain numbers and certain shots." Scott's been saying it for years — Michael just proved it on a Sunday leaderboard. That's this week's whole pivot — distance is a byproduct, precision is a skill you actually have to train. Shiho Kuwaki wins her first LPGA title — and it's a major — outlasting Esther Henseleit in a playoff at the AIG Women's Open, adapting her shot shape entirely to the links conditions at Royal Lytham & St. Annes. And on the Korn Ferry Tour, Derek Hitchner survives a wild five-man playoff to win the Utah Championship — his first career title in his 18th start, after calling his own season a total struggle up to that point. | EP 131: Dominate. Trust. Confidence. | 28 juil. 2026 | 00:16:10
A 21-year-old in just his third pro start went at two par-5s down the stretch — including a 233-yard approach with the lead on the line — and beat World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler by three. Written on Jackson Koivun's glove that week: Dominate. Trust. Confidence. Three words that turned out to be the whole story. This week, Scott breaks down Koivun's stunning 3M Open win and Lucas Herbert's dominant 30-under week on LIV, and pulls apart what those three words actually mean in that order — dominance as the result, confidence as what shows up on the surface, and trust as the swing underneath both that makes them possible. We get into what separates "going for it" from "managing a miss," why Scheffler's bounce-back numbers tell a different story this season, and what it takes to build a move you trust enough to play aggressive golf without fear. Plus, this week's Own Your SSWING insight on building that trust into your own game. | EP 129: Attack Your Game. Don't Wait For It To Happen. | 07 juil. 2026 | 00:17:41
There's a reason pressure feels different for 220 million Brazilians hoping their team advances in the World Cup than it does for 5.5 million Norwegians who are just thrilled to be on the pitch. Pressure isn't the same for everyone — and this week on the PGA Tour, we watched that exact dynamic play out on a golf course. Chris Gotterup teed off six groups back at the John Deere Classic with basically nothing to lose. He went bogey-free for a 62 and walked away with the trophy. Meanwhile, the two guys who'd carried the lead all week — Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges — played it safe, made pars, and watched the win slip away. Same golf course. Same conditions. Completely different pressure, completely different swings.

| EP 128: Precision in Practice, Trust on the Course | 01 juil. 2026 | 00:18:07 | |
Precision in practice. Trust on the course. That's the theme this week — and Viktor Hovland just proved it in the most dramatic way possible. Episode 128 is here, and Scott's breaking down one of the wildest weekends we've seen in a while. The Travelers Championship — the last $20M Signature Event of the year — couldn't even finish on Sunday. Scheffler and Hovland finished tied at 21-under after an 83-minute rain delay blew the whole thing wide open, with Hovland roaring back with three straight birdies to force a Monday playoff. He closed it out on No. 18 the next morning — his first win since last year's Valspar — and we've got the full story of how he got there. Over on the LPGA side, the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine brought its own Sunday drama, with Haeran Ryu holding off a hard-charging field and Nelly Korda chasing a third straight major. And on the DP World Tour, Eugenio Chacarra birdied the 72nd hole to steal the KLM Open by a single shot. Different tours, same story all week: the player who trusted their game in the clutch walked away with the trophy. That's exactly what this week's improvement segment is about — precision in practice is what lets you trust it when you play. Hovland didn't claw his way back by gritting his teeth and trying harder. He bogeyed four of his first ten holes, used that rain delay to reset, and came out firing three straight birdies — because the mechanics were already in there. That's not luck, that's reps. That's what it means to Own Your SSWING —Scott breaks down what that means for your own game, and why what you do between rounds is what shows up when it counts.

| EP 127: Hold Your Nerve — The Mental-Physical Connection Under Pressure | 23 juin 2026 | 00:16:46 | |
This week's US Open and Meijer LPGA Classic told the same story from opposite ends — Wyndham Clark grinding down a hostile Shinnecock crowd to win his second US Open, and Lottie Woad missing a two-footer with the Meijer title right there. Two world-class players, same moment: when the mind spirals, the body follows. That's exactly what we unpack in this episode. Grip pressure spikes, breathing gets shallow, and the stroke you've made 10,000 times suddenly feels foreign. This isn't just a mental breakdown — it's a physical one. And it's the SSWING sweet spot. The Improvement Pivot Point this week: Train Your Pressure Response, Not Just Your Swing. Most golfers practice when they're comfortable. But golf is played under pressure — and pressure changes your body. We break down how to build pressure reps into your routine, find your physical anchor, and train your movement patterns so deeply that when everything's on the line, your body already knows what to do. Because golf improvement isn't just about how you move on the range. It's about how you move when it counts.

| EP 126: Be Honest About Your Game | 17 juin 2026 | 00:22:15 | |
This past weekend, champions were made across every sport — and the ones who won all had one thing in common: they looked their weaknesses dead in the eye and got to work. On the PGA Tour at the RBC Canadian Open, Bud Cauley, the 36 year old, finally got his first win — his 239th start — and it didn't come off the tee. It came from a chip-in on 12 and a wedge to the heart of 18. His short game saved him when it mattered most. On the LPGA, Jin Hee Im and Somi Lee won the Dow Championship with a bogey-free 62, just 26 putts, and a clutch 8-footer in a playoff — and Lexi Thompson's run came down to a 5-foot putt that didn't fall. Five feet. The whole tournament. On the Korn Ferry Tour, Zack Fischer converted a four-shot final round lead to claim his first win in his 171st career start at the inaugural OccuNet Classic in Amarillo. Off the course — the New York Knicks are NBA Champions for the first time since 1973. Jalen Brunson dropped 45 points in the clinching Game 5 against the Spurs, capping a run where the Knicks came back from double-digit deficits in all four of their wins — including the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history, erasing a 29-point deficit in Game 4. They didn't win because they were the most talented team. They won because they were honest about their gaps, made adjustments, and trusted each other when it mattered most. That's the thread. This week Scott gets into the short game conversation that most golfers keep avoiding — chipping, pitching, and the truth about what happens after you miss a green. Because here's the thing: if your short game is good enough, you take the pressure off everything else. You can miss greens. You can have an off day with the irons. But if you can get up and down — you stay in the round. Most golfers know their short game needs work and do nothing about it. That stops today. Ask yourself honestly: is your short game good enough? Because the answer is either your biggest problem or your biggest opportunity. Own Your SSWING. | EP 125: Pressure, Perseverance & the Long Game | 09 juin 2026 | 00:20:01
This past weekend reminded us why we love this game. At the center of it all was Nelly Korda, who won her first U.S. Women's Open at Riviera — her fourth major — with a clutch birdie on 17 and a par putt on 18 that circled the lip and dropped in for the win. Seven shots off the lead after round one, she made a grip change on her sister Jessica's advice and shot 67-67-69 to close it out. That's not luck. That's what elite athleticism looks like under pressure — and it's exactly what sets the LPGA women apart. Born into arguably the most athletic family in sports, the daughter of Czech tennis champions, Korda's rotational power, her ability to reset physically mid-round, her body that holds its pattern when everything tightens — that's a trained athlete performing at the highest level. The LPGA women move differently. This week at Riviera proved it. The rest of the weekend didn't disappoint either. JT Poston won a marathon Memorial Tournament in a playoff after blowing a four-shot lead, grinding through a 31-hole Sunday to birdie 18 when it mattered most. New dad Tyrrell Hatton went wire-to-wire at Valderrama to hold off Rahm on LIV. And 35-year-old Ben Kohles chased a fifth Korn Ferry Tour win across 1,016 career professional rounds — the definition of the long game. With Shinnecock Hills and the US Open two weeks away, Scott breaks down what all of it means for your game: why movement under pressure is the separator at every level, and how you can start building the kind of athletic foundation that holds up when something is actually on the line. | EP 124: Learn to Love the Mundane — A Lesson from the Charles Schwab Challenge | 02 juin 2026 | 00:15:27
The most important putting lesson of the year didn't come from the winner. Russell Henley birdied his final three holes in regulation to catch 54-hole leader Eric Cole, then converted again in the playoff to win the Charles Schwab Challenge at 12-under. Cole, 37, had been here before — this was his third runner-up finish on the PGA Tour and his first win is still waiting. But here's what's fascinating: through 54 holes, Cole led the field in Strokes Gained: Putting and Proximity to the Hole — the two most "boring" disciplines in the game. No highlight-reel drives. No flashy recoveries. Just relentless precision on the greens and dialed-in distance control, week after week. "That's why I practice really hard and that's why I try and do everything the way I do," Cole said — "so that I could be as prepared for whatever tomorrow brings." That's this week's Improvement Pivot Point: learn to love working on the mundane. The stuff nobody films. The 10-foot putts you roll for an hour. The alignment drills. The putting gate. The things that feel like nothing — until Sunday at Colonial, when they become everything. Scott also breaks down Joaquin Niemann's playoff win at LIV Korea, Céline Boutier's stunning Sunday charge on the LPGA, Kota Kaneko's breakthrough on the DP World Tour, and Doc Redman's Korn Ferry victory in Knoxville. Five tours. Five lessons. All of it pointing back to the same truth — the work you do on the mundane is what makes the magic possible. That's how you Own Your SSWING.

| EP 123: From Long Shot to Major Champion: Aaron Rai's Master Class in Quieting the Noise | 19 mai 2026 | 00:20:14 | |
Aaron Rai just shocked the golf world — but was it really a shock? At the 2026 PGA Championship, a 290-1 long shot stepped onto one of the most crowded leaderboards in major championship history and did something most players never figure out: he turned down the volume. While Rory McIlroy chased history, Jon Rahm lurked, and a packed field jostled for position at Aronimink, Aaron Rai went quietly to work — and thundered to a three-shot victory, becoming the first Englishman to win the Wanamaker Trophy in over a century. This week, we break down the one skill separating the player who cracks under pressure from the one who cashes in on it: quieting the noise. From Rai's "quiet eye" putting technique to his iron covers rooted in a father's love, to his total indifference to what tour players are "supposed" to do — Rai's win is a masterclass in what happens when you Own Your SSWING so completely that the external chaos simply can't compete. Whether you're facing a packed leaderboard, a crowded market, or a moment that feels too big — this episode is your blueprint for finding stillness in the storm and turning it into something thunderous.

| EP 122: Integrity, Consistency & Showing Up When No One's Watching | 05 mai 2026 | 00:16:41 | |
This week on Pivot the Path, Scott breaks down one of the most remarkable weekends across the tours — and the through-line is something every golfer (and every human) can take away. Cam Young goes wire-to-wire at Doral and wins by six — but one simple moment has nothing to do with the scorecard. He called a penalty on himself that nobody else saw. Then birdied the next hole. That's not just integrity. That's freedom. Nelly Korda is doing something that's never been done. Six events. Zero finishes outside the top two. She's now in the same breath as Annika Sorenstam — and she's doing it with a process, not a highlight reel. And Mikael Lindberg? He won a DP World Tour title in Turkey — and a PGA Championship berth he didn't even know he was playing for. Showed up fully, week after week, and the reward found him. Scott unpacks the Self-Penalty Principle — the idea that we often know exactly where we've let something slide. The question is whether we call it on ourselves before someone else has to. Where in your game — or your life — are you waiting for an official that's never coming?

| EP 121: There Is No “Wrong” in Golf—Only Consequences | 01 mai 2026 | 00:21:06 | |
There is no “wrong” in golf—only consequences. The best players in the world learn how to adapt. It’s a simple idea, but it changes everything. This week, we look at Matt Fitzpatrick and his cross-handed chipping grip—something that, to many, might look unconventional. But here’s the truth: it’s not wrong. It just produces a certain left hand position that works for Matt under pressure when chipping. And Fitzpatrick? He understands those consequences. He owns them. He adapts around them. That’s what the best in the world do. In this episode, we break down:
If you’ve ever felt like your swing doesn’t “look right,” this is your reminder: it doesn’t have to.
That's how you Own Your SSWING.

| EP 120: Mastery Lives in the Monotony | 22 avr. 2026 | 00:22:09 | |
At every level of professional golf, the separation isn’t just distance or power anymore—it’s the ability to move the ball intentionally. Left-to-right, right-to-left, flighted, controlled. The best players in the world aren’t married to one shot shape—they own both. That was especially clear in the playoff where even Scottie Scheffler showed a rare crack in the armor. In a moment where shot-shaping versatility was critical, being forced into one pattern under pressure made even the smallest margin matter. At that level, it’s not about perfect swings—it’s about having options when tension rises. SSWING’s physical training supports exactly that adaptability. One of the key movements we use is the glute bridge. It’s simple, but it builds what elite players need—pelvic stability, glute activation, and control of rotation without losing balance. That directly translates to controlling face and path under pressure. That connects to something we see every day at SSWING. Stability is the foundation of all of it. One of our new members this week came in doing what so many golfers do—adding more effort to fix inconsistency. More speed, more manipulation, more “trying.” But what unlocked things wasn’t complexity—it was stability through movement and sequencing. Once the base became stable, shaping the ball both ways stopped being something they chased and became something they could access. That’s the shift. Because at every level—from Korn Ferry grinders to LPGA winners to PGA Tour champions—the game rewards the same thing: Stability first. That’s where real mastery lives.

| EP 119: Two in a Row: The Masters Recap & The Bigger Picture | 15 avr. 2026 | 00:31:07 | |
Rory McIlroy is now just the fourth player in Masters history to win back-to-back green jackets — joining Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, and Tiger Woods in one of golf’s most exclusive clubs. The ball striking was impeccable. The shot shaping — both ways — a masterclass.
And then there’s Bryson DeChambeau — one of the most fascinating players in the game right now. What he brings is intensity. Structure. A relentless pursuit of control.
And that’s not a criticism — it’s the challenge every golfer faces. Because the line between preparation and over-control… is very thin.

| EP 118: The Masters: Why Putting Defines the First Major of the Year | 07 avr. 2026 | 00:29:48 | |
With The Masters just around the corner, all eyes turn to Augusta — where the difference isn’t just how you strike it, but how you roll it. At the highest level, putting isn’t just feel — it’s a learned skill, built through precise practice, clarity, commitment, and control. The best players in the world aren’t guessing on the greens. They understand the slope. They trust their read. And most importantly — they commit. This week, we break down why putting becomes the ultimate separator — and how building a repeatable process on the greens can transform not just your scores, but your confidence.

| EP 117: Stay in the Fight — Why the Grind Always Matters | 31 mars 2026 | 00:20:26 | |
This week’s episode was inspired by an incredible moment in the game—Gary Woodland’s win, and the reminder it gave all of us. Because what made this victory so powerful wasn’t just the golf—it was everything behind it.
And yet, he did. He kept showing up. He kept putting one foot in front of the other. He stayed in the fight. And that’s the truth of it—everyone is going through something. At every level of the game, whether you’re on tour or working on your swing after work or on a Saturday morning, there are challenges that test you. The difference isn’t in avoiding them—it’s in how you respond. Gary Woodland’s message was simple, but powerful: Stay in the fight. Keep going. Check out the powerful Gary Woodland interview here.

| EP 116: Stop Fighting the Golf Course. Start Working With It. | 18 mars 2026 | 00:18:22 | |
This past weekend in professional golf delivered a clear reminder of how the game is meant to be played. At the highest level, players aren’t forcing their swing onto the course — they’re responding to it. They recognize the shape of the hole, the angles it presents, and the shot it requires. Whether it’s a soft fade into a tucked pin or a draw that follows the design of the fairway, the best players in the world can shape the ball both ways and adapt to what’s in front of them. In this episode, Scotty breaks down one of the most important — and often overlooked — concepts in golf improvement: Stop fighting the golf course. Start working with it. Too many golfers try to hit the same shot on every hole, regardless of the situation. Real progress begins when you understand how each hole is designed and learn to match your ball flight to it. Golf isn’t asking for your favorite swing —it’s asking for the right shot. And when you learn to see that clearly, shape the ball both ways, and commit to what the moment requires, everything starts to simplify — and that’s where real improvement begins. Because when you stop fighting the game and trust your motion, you begin to truly Own Your SSWING. Shop the new G'day Golfers hat

| EP 115: How the Macro Swing Influences Every Club in the Bag | 11 mars 2026 | 00:18:02 | |
In this week's episode, we step back and connect the dots from the last several episodes. One of the biggest challenges in golf is the gap between what you feel and what is actually happening. That disconnect often leads golfers to believe they need a different swing for every club in the bag. In reality, great golfers rely on one motion — a macro movement pattern that carries through the entire bag. From full swings to chipping and putting (setting aside specialty shots like bunkers and flop shots), the fundamentals of movement remain remarkably consistent. It starts with something simple but incredibly important: taking the club back square and on the target line. That first move sets the geometry for the entire motion and influences how the club returns to the ball. We also explore a concept that is often overlooked in sport — proprioception, the body’s ability to sense where it is in space. When golfers develop awareness of how their body and club move together, the swing becomes less about manipulation and more about coordinated movement. This conversation brings together themes from recent episodes — process, movement, and clarity — and reinforces a simple truth: improvement doesn’t come from collecting more swing thoughts. It comes from understanding the motion that connects every club in the bag.

| EP 114: Why Your Mechanics Control Your Ball Flight | 04 mars 2026 | 00:25:05 | |
Technology in golf has never been more powerful — launch monitors, swing cameras, and data are everywhere. But without understanding the mechanics behind the numbers, the data alone won’t help you improve. In this episode of Pivot The Path, we break down why mechanics always come first. The ball flight you see is simply the result of how your body moves and how the club travels through space. One of the easiest ways to understand your swing is by tracing the butt end of the club — revealing the macro plane of your motion and showing how the body organizes the downswing. Please refer to Episode 112 for more details on that. When you learn to connect what the body is doing to what the club is doing, the technology you’re using suddenly becomes far more valuable. Because improvement isn’t about chasing numbers — it’s about understanding how your movement creates them. Move better. Play efficiently. Own Your SSWING. ⛳️ Shop SSWING Swag

| EP 113: Stop Chasing Your Longest Shot. Start Building Your Most Dependable One. | 26 févr. 2026 | 00:22:57 | |
This week on Pivot The Path, we take inspiration from the epic gold-medal win by the United States men's national ice hockey team — their first in 46 years — and explore what it teaches us about elite performance across all sports, especially golf. From hockey to the fairways, the lesson is the same: championships aren’t built on highlight moments — they’re built on preparation, trust, and showing up when it matters. We dive into why consistency isn’t a mindset — it’s a movement skill. Why elite players understand their miss before chasing their max. And how predictable patterns beat perfect swings every time. If you’re tired of hunting distance and hero shots, this episode reframes improvement around what actually lowers scores: better movement, smarter practice, and owning your process. | EP 111: Performance Lives in Preparation — How Gear Effect Shapes Ball Flight | 11 févr. 2026 | 00:31:52
This week’s episode rides the momentum across global tournament golf — from James Nicholas breaking through on the Korn Ferry Tour, Elvis Smylie making an immediate statement on LIV Golf, and Patrick Reed returning to the winner’s circle on the DP World Tour, to a Jersey-tough performance from Gotterup on the PGA Tour. All of it unfolds alongside Super Bowl weekend and the kickoff of the Winter Olympics — a powerful reminder that when the moment gets big, preparation shows up. Then we bring it straight back to your game. Because it’s not just mindset — it’s mechanics. We dive into why gear effect matters, how strike location directly shapes ball flight, and why performance can’t be separated from preparation, movement, and the tools in your hands. | EP 110: Be Detailed: Why Process Wins Under Pressure | 04 févr. 2026 | 00:29:20
This week’s Improvement Pivot Point is simple, but decisive: Be Detailed. The Farmers Insurance Open gave us a masterclass in what that actually looks like. Justin Rose set the tone with a rare wire-to-wire performance on the PGA Tour — the kind of win that isn’t about riding momentum, but about creating it early and protecting it with discipline. From the opening round onward, it was fairways first, precise iron windows, and a pre-shot routine that never changed, regardless of scoreboards or pressure. The details didn’t fade as the week went on — they sharpened. On the LPGA Tour, Nelly Korda showed how quickly form can turn when process leads. Her charge wasn’t built on forcing birdies, but on recommitting to her decisions — picking the right shots, swinging with conviction, and trusting her routine when the momentum of the tournament shifted. It was patience paired with intent. Across the globe, the same theme repeated itself. Both the DP World Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour crowned first-time winners — players who didn’t chase perfection or rely on hero moments. They managed misses, stayed inside their plans, and let consistency do the heavy lifting over four demanding days. This episode unpacks the weekend of golf to show why detail matters — in preparation, decision-making, and especially in pre-shot routines. At every level, improvement doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from doing the small things on purpose, over and over again. Be detailed. Own Your SSWING. And let the results take care of themselves.

| EP 109: Choosing The Right Shot at the Right Time | 30 janv. 2026 | 00:18:05 | |
In golf, progress is rarely decided by the hardest swing or the boldest shot — it’s decided by the choice you make when the moment demands restraint. This past weekend’s PGA and DP World Tour results reinforced a simple truth: the players who keep moving forward aren’t chasing moments — they’re choosing wisely. In this week's episode, we explore the Improvement Pivot Point that shows up under real pressure: choosing the right shot in the right moment. From managing risk to fully committing once a decision is made, this episode breaks down how elite players simplify when it matters most — and why restraint so often leads to better outcomes than aggression. We look at what the leaderboard doesn’t always show:
This isn’t about playing safe — it’s about playing clear. Improvement doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from choosing better, when it matters most. Note: This episode was recorded prior to the news of Patrick Reed’s departure from LIV Golf. Shop SSWING Swag

| EP 108: Clarity Under Pressure | 22 janv. 2026 | 00:32:28 | |
In today’s golf landscape, clarity matters more than ever. Opportunities reward those who are prepared — and pressure shows up earlier in the journey. In this week’s episode, we explore why clarity — not comfort — is becoming the true competitive advantage in professional golf and everyday improvement. Following last week’s conversation with Julian Sanchez, this episode examines what separates those who continue to move forward when conditions get uncomfortable — and why the best performers simplify, not complicate, under pressure. We bring the conversation into practice by looking at how Scott applies clarity to putting — prioritizing face control and distance assignment over feel or confidence. This episode unpacks how pressure exposes preparation — and why improvement doesn’t come from feeling ready, but from being clear. Shop SSWING Swag

| EP 104: Practice With Intent: The Bloodwork of Your Golf Game | 10 déc. 2025 | 00:21:42 | |
In this week’s episode, we keep building off the Break 75 Blueprint — the framework helping everyday golfers tighten their scoring, eliminate wasted shots, and build consistency through smarter strategy and purposeful reps. We break down how small refinements in how you practice can create massive gains in how you play. Our Improvement Pivot Point is Practice With Intent — the difference between simply hitting balls and actually training movements that transfer to the course. When your reps have a purpose, a target, and a defined movement focus, you build repeatability. When they don’t, you just add noise to your pattern. We also dive into Rasmus Neergaard Petersen’s win on the DP World Tour — a massive milestone for one of Europe’s brightest rising stars. His week was a blueprint in itself: disciplined preparation, a clear game plan, and unwavering intent behind every shot. There’s a lot golfers can learn from the way he structures his performance and earns his first DP World Tour victory. And finally, a blend of performance takeaways — from how the best players shape purposeful practice to how everyday golfers can adopt the same mindset. This is your weekly reminder that improvement is built on clarity, strategy, and reps that actually mean something. That is how you truly Own Your SSWING.

| EP 101: The Break 75 Blueprint | 19 nov. 2025 | 00:26:28 | |
Ever feel like you’re close to breaking 75, but can’t quite put all the pieces together? In this episode, Scott reveals the five non-negotiable elements that separate hopeful ball-strikers from consistent scorers: a reliable pre-shot routine, precise alignment, equipment understanding, the ability to shape the ball both ways, and intentional practice. These aren’t just skills — they are the foundation of learning your tendencies, refining your patterns, and ultimately developing the clarity and control required to perform with ownership and confidence. When you build a repeatable routine, you gain control under pressure. When your alignment is precise, you eliminate guesswork. When your equipment matches your movement, your swing works with you, not against you. When you can shape the ball both directions, you gain strategic freedom instead of relying on luck. And when you practice with intent, every rep has purpose and produces progress instead of plateaus. Master these five and performance becomes predictable, confident, and repeatable — the true path to Own Your SSWING. You don’t need more grinding time… just the right framework.

| EP 99: The Four Movement Pillars of a Consistent Swing | 05 nov. 2025 | 00:25:28 | |
This week on Pivot The Path, we circle back to where it all begins — the body. We know the body holds the club, the club hits the ball and so it makes sense to us to start at the beginning. Building on recent episodes about efficiency, connection and athletic preparation, Scott discusses the four movement pillars that create a consistent, powerful golf swing. Just like the athletes we’ve highlighted — from Jason Kelce’s stability and control in the NFL to the lower-body power and rotational sequence driving baseball’s World Series hitters — elite performance starts with building the right body for the sport. Golf is no different. These four pillars connect movement, mindset and mechanics — the reminder that every great swing starts with how your body moves. Master these, and you’ll find your rhythm, power and confidence on every shot. Because before you can Own Your SSWING, you have to Master Your Movement.

| EP 97: Use It or Lose It — The Physiology Behind Your Golf Game | 21 oct. 2025 | 00:26:30 | |
What are the parallels between an NFL player and your average golfer? More than you might think. Recently, NFL legend Jason Kelce asked himself a simple question: Could I still complete an NFL workout now that I’m retired? The result was a humbling reminder that even elite athletes lose strength, speed and capability if they stop training for the demands of their sport. And the truth is, the same principle applies to you and your golf game. If you want to generate rotational power, control the clubface, maintain mobility and swing consistently, you have to train those physical capabilities with purpose. Your body adapts to what you do most often — stop challenging it, and it stops being ready to perform. “Use it or lose it” isn’t just a phrase — it’s physiology. And if you’re serious about improving, staying strong and playing your best golf for years to come, that commitment to consistent movement, strength, and intention is how you truly Own Your SSWING.

| EP 96: Face First: Mastering the Variables Behind Ball Control | 15 oct. 2025 | 00:27:15 | |
In this episode, we dive into one of the most important — yet often misunderstood — parts of the game: face strike. From swing path and lie angle to shaft flex, weight distribution and even how your body moves through impact, every small detail plays a role in how the club face meets the ball. And here’s the truth — there’s no single “magic fix.” Great ball control isn’t about one swing thought or one equipment tweak; it’s about understanding how all these elements work together to create consistent, predictable results. The key is always to fix the root problem and pay close attention to every variable that influences your clubface. Mastering ball control starts with awareness — knowing how to adjust and refine the fundamentals that matter most. Remember: Tilt. Tuck. Target. Trigger. Each piece of that sequence plays a role in creating solid contact, controlling flight and unlocking precision.

| EP 94: Never Out of the Fight: Resilience & Mateship at the Ryder Cup | 30 sept. 2025 | 00:34:42 | |
This week’s episode dives into the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black—a stage where pride, teamwork, and resilience shine brighter than individual glory. The drama, the pressure, and the unity on display felt reminiscent of the ANZAC spirit: mateship, courage, endurance, and sacrifice for the greater collective. Just as ANZAC embodies the power of individuals coming together for something bigger than themselves, the Ryder Cup shows golf at its most communal, where every shot isn’t just for the player, but for the team, the country, and the history books. And perhaps no moment captured that spirit more than Team USA’s ferocious comeback attempts—a powerful reminder that you are never out of the fight. | EP 92: Measuring True Improvement: What Really Counts + Fall Golf’s Big Winners | 17 sept. 2025 | 00:26:43
In this week’s episode, we dig into one of the most important questions for any golfer: what truly measures improvement? Data is the foundation of progress, and training indoors is essential for uncovering the core of your improvement journey. Camera-measured feedback remains the gold standard—giving golfers the ability to track consistency, ball flight control, and the real indicators that your game is moving forward. We also break down the standout performances from fall golf’s biggest stages this past weekend. At SSWING, we rely on Uneekor’s ceiling-mounted camera system for unmatched precision - face angle and path measured precisely. For golfers who want to take control of their improvement journey at home, the Uneekor Eye Mini delivers a powerful, portable option that whilst not as clinically precise as the ceiling system - enables golfers to gain understanding of Path precision and creating a solid understanding of inferred face data. Remember: tech is only as good as the golfer using it—another part of the improvement journey that can help you truly Own Your SSWING.
