Jason Kelce on Life under a microscope, new role as ESPN analyst, proud big brother, why Travis is unique, Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift, Andy Reid & credits his wife Kylie for being the anchor to the beautiful chaos 03 Sep 202401:20:32
"I still try to be that authentic person, I think that's important for me...It makes it difficult because everything you do is under a microscope and everything you say is under a microscope..." Jason Kelce  As the NFL Kicks off this week, there will be some famous football faces missing on the sidelines, notably the greatest coach of all time Bill Belichick and Super Bowl Champ & future Hall of Famer Jason Kelce.  Although not too far from the sidelines, these guys are making the pivot into different roles this season analyzing the game they love vs competing for it week after week. But Jason shares with Ryan, Channing and Fred that he’s been pivoting his entire life, as it hasn’t always been the pageantry of fame, success and celebritism we see now.  In this episode of The Pivot Podcast in partnership with Fanatics, Jason reflects back on the ups and downs of his football journey, his family-first mentality, his relationship with his brother Travis, meeting his wife Kylie and how he manages to stay even-keeled in the current chaos of his life. We laugh a lot and learn even more about the man behind the jolly smile we see all the time. Hard work and success has always been core to the Kelce family, but the spotlight seems to be shining the brightest now on the family.  A 6th round NFL draft pick turned Super Bowl champ with a NFL career spanning 13 years including 7 Pro Bowl seasons, The former Philadelphia Eagle may be retired from football but says he’s taken on more jobs now than he’s ever had before. Preparing to work alongside Ryan for ESPN Monday Night Football Countdown each week while continuing to build his podcast empire with Travis after recently signing a deal worth over a $100M, one of the largest podcast deals done to date.  Growing up in Cleveland Heights, it’s sometimes hard for Jason to imagine how two brothers not just made it to the NFL but crafted a career filled with accolades and now have taken the world by storm with their brotherly bond as their personal and professional lives are captivating not just sports fans, but everyone.  Ryan asks Jason how he is handling it all and how escapes the limelight to find quiet for himself and with his wife and kids. Jason says staying true to who he is and not changing has helped balance out the expectations and lets us in on his secret getaway to block out the noise. Extremely grateful for the opportunities, Jason recognizes the positives that have come with the meteoric rise the past 2 years between the Super Bowl match up vs Travis, to Kylie and his mom becoming household favorites to their podcast taking off to his brother’s personal life dating Taylor Swift bringing them all under a different type of microscope.  The trio chat about they dynamics of Jason's relationship with Travis amongst so many big changes, from his relationship with Taylor to their business endeavors as he shares with Fred, Channing and Ryan that at the grass roots, him and Travis are very similar humans with the same core values and opens up on a few of the the traits that make them different, from pop culture tastes to footwear. Jason credits his wife Kylie for impacting him in a ways he can’t put into words and says she is the anchor, holding everything down as the waters continue to wash in new things everyday.  Talking football as the guys do, Jason offers a unique perspective into his own career, the Eagles, Andy Reid and on what makes Travis and Patrick Mahomes so darn special and hard to defend as the discussion of a Chiefs 3peat becomes more real as the season gets ready to kick off. And of course, Channing and Jason exchange some of their stories that make them lovable and give us all laughs.  Stay tapped into all things Pivot and subscribe! Tank Dell Houston Wide Receiver opens up on being shot, wrong place wrong time, overcoming injury, being CJ Stroud's guy, brother bond with Stefon Diggs, AFC Favorite & how to prove people right with Texans success 30 Aug 202400:51:20
"Last year it was 'let's prove everybody wrong', but now this year it's 'let's prove everybody right." Tank Dell, Houston Texans Wide Receiver NFL season Kicks off next week and our NFL Training Camp tour is coming to an end and we've been sitting with star players from around the league getting inside scoop, hearing never-told-before stories and going inside the locker room mentality of the 32 teams as they prepare for the 2024 season. In this episode of The Pivot Podcast in partnership with Fanatics, we visit H Town, where Ryan, Channing, and Fred take a look at the resurgence of the Texans while learning more about a young receiver who caught everything thrown his way, including the respect of head coach DeMeco Ryans and the attention of Quarterback CJ Stroud, who say Tank Dell is one of the league's top 5 doing it right now. The 2nd year NFL wide receiver may be underestimated around the NFL, but the Houston Texans know what he's made of and that his talent speaks for itself. Tank's not worried about his underdog status, saying he's worn that "underdog" title his whole life and it just adds to the chip on his shoulder of not proving people wrong, but proving the people RIGHT, who took a chance on him. Returning from injury and starting on a team that has overcome their own dark horse reputation, Tank Dell is more than ready for the spotlight in the 2024 season and eager to show the football world, just who he really is on and off the field while helping his team chase a Super Bowl. For those closest to Dell, they will tell you that football's not just everything to him, it's the only thing. The often forgotten man around the league is the fuel that ignites Houston's offense and ready to contribute anyway he can alongside stars Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins, as he shares the team's plan to balance the star power and make every play count. Peeling back the layers of Dell's tumultuous background from high school to college to now, the 24 year old, shares with the guys how relying on self belief and his faith helped him overcome obstacles and push through setbacks, leading him to make the necessary changes to separate himself from a questionable off the field path. A massive life scare this past off-season, Tank explains what happened the night he was shot in Florida and more importantly, what he learned from the entire situation. While physically he has recovered, mentally he has a fair share of healing to do but is growing in the right places while moving forward with the right people in his corner . He's motivated by getting back to football, using the game to support his healing journey while his confidence in himself and his teammates, reigns high...because Dell is certain the Texans are destined to be champions with the Super Bowl as the ultimate goal. Raheem Morris Head Coach of Atlanta on 2024 NFL Schedule, why he believes Kirk Cousins will lead Falcons to Super Bowl, the decision to draft Michael Penix, the best defenses he's coached & importance of people-first mentality & forgiveness30 Jul 202400:59:24
"We cut players and we bring them back and we ask them to forgive, so what separates us [as coaches?]" Raheem Morris Head Coach of Atlanta Falcons The Pivot Training Camp tour is in full swing as we visit NFL cities sitting with players and coaches around the league bringing you exclusive interviews and sideline conversations to get you ready for the football season. Something for everyone in the episodes from the hardcore football fan who wants the inside scoop to the casual listener interested in the lives on and off the field of these athletes and coaches.  In partnership with Fanatics, Ryan, Fred, and Channing reunite with one of our favorite past Pivot guests and good friend, Raheem Morris. When we last caught up with Morris, the “then” Defensive Coordinator was reveling in his Super Bowl win with the LA Rams…Fast forward to now, and Morris is back at the helm of the Atlanta Falcons as he prepares for what he considers the opportunity of a lifetime as their new Head Coach.  Morris takes time to open up on his new role, his transparent insights on why the Falcons are "something to deal with" this 2024 season, and how his "people first" approach is shaping the team. Morris’ coaching journey has had its share of ups and downs, coaching some of the games’ best defensive players in Warren Sapp, Aaron Donald, winning Super Bowls, learning alongside some of the best in the business but also came with hard teaching moments in some painful losses and also, being fired by the team he is now back Coaching.  Ryan, who once played for Morris, asks his long-time friend about his evolution from a young "uncle figure" coach to a confident "father figure" in the league and the trust he has with his coaching staff. Comparing himself to the likes of J. Cole in the song “Middle Child,” Raheem talks about going from being a brother alongside players in his early days as a coach to now becoming a father figure.  The guys discuss how the football world was surprised with the Falcons first pick of the 2024 NFL Draft taking QB Michael Penix No. 8 after just acquiring Kirk Cousins from Minnesota…Coach says Penix is about building for the future while Kirk is the guy he believes can lead Atlanta to a Super Bowl. He and Ryan debate a little bit about the defensive side of the ball, but they agree there is no question guys like Bijan Robinson and Drake London will flourish with Cousins under center. He continues to talk about the roster full of talent and how he wholeheartedly believes this team has what it takes to not just be a competitor this season, but one of the elite.  Filled with some fun moments, towards the end of the conversation, Morris jokingly teases while paying tribute to his coaching mentors, the NFL greats and the guys ask him to craft his dream defense using players he’s coached throughout his career. One of his choices literally leaves Channing on the floor in disbelief, any guesses?  We’re just getting started with our tour, and bringing you sideline views and locker room conversations as we gear up for the return of the NFL season! Quinnen Williams NY’s $96M Man, Jets Super Bowl bound? Talks Rodgers, AD, Chris Jones29 Aug 202301:00:44

A team that is completely stacked with talent, a pivotal piece of the puzzle is Quinnen Williams. Williams, one of the league's best Defensive Tackles and a very wealthy football player, sits down with Ryan, Channing, and Fred to talk about his journey to the league and how he’s aiming to hold the Lombardi trophy at the end of the season. Losing his mother at an early age to breast cancer was no easy feat for a young man everyone considered a “momma boy”. Quinnen opens up about his mother’s passing as his biggest pivot thus far and shares a few of the many lessons he learned from her that he still applies to his daily life. It takes a village to raise children and Quinnen knew the importance of holding his village close while nursing his dreams. As a result, Quinnen de-committed to Auburn and committed to Alabama because it was closer to his grandmother who served as a mother figure in his life. Quinnen talks about how every football player's goal is to win the Super Bowl and the Jets organization is more confident due to the new additions to their team which includes Aaron Rodgers. Williams describes acquiring Aaron as a “golden ticket” and the leader they needed. He shares his thoughts on how the Jets defense plans to go from the #4 defense last season to #1. Part of this comes from studying and developing a brotherhood that allows teammates to critique each other, which includes his brother Quincy. Getting into the contract extension he recently signed in the off-season, Quinne stands firm that he probably wouldn’t have reported to training camp until the deal was solidified. Speaking of organizations’ shifting mindsets, Quinnen decided he’d switch his and stop thinking like the 3rd guy. He’s chasing the #1 stop which includes getting past Aaron Donald and Chris Jones, a feat he believes is attainable. September starts a new year for one of the NFL's top tier teams and the young offense is balanced by some strong veterans on defense. Motivated by the leadership and talent of quarterback Jalen Hurts, DeVonta believes having another year playing together under their belt will only make the offensive duo that much stronger this season.  Often criticized for his size being smaller than the typical wide receiver, DeVonta has never allowed that to hold him back and continues to let his play on the field do the talking for him and quiet his naysayers. Confidence is never lacking and rising to the highest when fueled by competition DeVonta is ready to take on the NFL's best this season and finds it a waste of energy to talk trash so it comes down to maximizing his abilities and outplaying his opponents.  DeVonta also talks about the close bond developed while at Alabama between the wide receiver room and that no matter the different paths the guys have taken in life and in their careers, their brotherhood has remained solid. With the recent happenings of former college teammate and friend Henry Ruggs, DeVontaa talks about why it was important to be there for him as a friend during his difficult time and even missed a day of camp to attend his sentencing hearing in Nevada.  DaVonta is excited for the season to be underway with high hopes for his Eagles team to make a Super Bowl run again and also looking forward to another big moment in his life, becoming a dad soon.  Learn more about your ad choices. It’s cool being with all the celebs, but man F them, I want to be the one they are clapping for."  Although only entering his 3rd year, Parsons is hungry for the big game in Feb but understands it’s all the little steps, the work, the preparation and the repetition that will make the team much better to withstand the ups and downs of a season.  Setting a standard of only wanting his team to give up less than 10 points a game and ready to take accountability for anything that doesn’t match that intensity and production each week. Confident that Dak Prescott is the leader the team needs on offense, Micah doubles down on the confidence and trust him and his teammates have in one another as they don’t want to feel the way they did last year leaving the field against San Fran.  Trying to balance personal and his football life, being a young father has taught him a lot of patience but also serves as his daily inspiration as he wants his kids to know him as the best to ever do it. A Hall of Fame caliber player and man, Micah wants to earn the respect of the men he lines up against each week and more importantly the respect of his teammates and coaches. Storying his football journey from a midwest school to slipping in the 2022 draft to suffering a brutal ACL injury to his bond with stars Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner who were all drafted the same year and and admiration for QB legend Aaron Rodgers, Hall opens up with the guys on what really goes on behind the scenes and the authenticity of locker room relationships. Hall shares never-heard-before stories about current and former players that will fuel your football excitement and open you up to the player's perspective of what it's like to chase NFL dreams. From his close-knit family upbringing that shaped the man he is to his insight on his former college roommate, Brock Purdy, to his off the field experiences in a viral airport confrontation that caused NY Giants great Carl Banks to intervene, to his ranking of fellow NFL running backs, this episode is packed with what makes football great- the grit, the love and the will to always want to be respected but win. And the chase paid off as Dustin sits atop country music charts with his current hit “Thinking of You” while playing to sold out crowds across the world with Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and more. Pulling from his roots and focused on family and faith, coaching was never something Freeman dreamed of doing but rather it became his calling after his playing career took a turn.  As one of the most respected defensive players in college football and a NFL 5th round draft pick, Freeman’s professional career had a lot of promise until a few months in and results from a physical showed he had an enlarged heart valve and he would be unable to compete at the NFL level due to medical reasons. Leaning into his close relationship with former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, Freeman reached out immediately and the next day was mentoring as a college football coach, the start of a journey to becoming one of the most sought after defensive minds in football and now head coach of one of the most storied collegiate programs.  Fred asks about the values instilled in players and focus as a leader for Coach Freeman while Channing asks about the pressure of getting it right at such a prestigious school and reestablishing winning ways. As a father of six children, Coach Freeman shares with Ryan the importance of a work life blend and how he uses same approach to unify his melting pot of children at home as he does to lead the locker room of young men and his coaches. Showing by example is far more impactful than just using words.  Looking ahead to next season, Coach Freeman is ready to pick up where the team left off and continue to make an impact on and off the field.  Learn more about your ad choices. In an emotional discussion, Rudolph opens up about how hard it's been on him from losing his father to gun violence to struggling through injuries in his football career to death of his nephew to the life altering incident in April 2021, where he took another man's life while injuring others in an attempt of self defense being attacked at his own home.   The shooting on April 7, 2021, came after an altercation between Rudolph and his then-girlfriend Dominique Jones. Not long after, Rudolph was confronted at his house by four men. It ended with Rudolph firing 39 shots in the direction of their SUV, leaving one deceased and three others injured. Rudolph claimed that he killed a man and almost killed three others in order to save his own life. After a two-week trial, It took Jurors four hours to find Travis Rudolph not guilty of first-degree murder and cleared of three counts of attempted murder from the fatal shooting outside his home in Lake Park, Florida.  Taking Fred, Ryan and Channing through the series of events that led up to the shooting, Rudolph emotionally explains how his then girlfriend was upset over some text messages she read in his phone and contacted her brother and his friends to go shoot up his shit which led to them arriving at his home, first beating him up then drawing guns. After being arrested and facing charges, Rudolph spent time in prison awaiting his trial and a year on house arrest during a time where he went through a lot of loss and reflection. He explains how he's been grief stricken from the loss of his father who was shot and killed while he was working and his young nephew who passed away in a car accident while trying to stay strong in his mindset fighting for his life since April 2021.  The former New York Giants and Florida State wide receiver, filled with tears, tried to put into words what the past few years has been like and the toll it's taken on him, his family especially his mother who was there the night of the shooting which prompted him to go into survival mode.   Rudolph, who was signed as an undrafted free agent out of college and spent the 2017 season with the Giants, but his career was stalled from injury before signing with a CFL team before 2020. Now that he is acquitted of all charges, Rudolph is looking to get his life back on track and try to get back into football and fulfill his aspirations of playing professional football, a path he started down years ago as a young high school star.  Learn more about your ad choices. Opening up about these moments, sharing how he’s celebrated the good and learned from the bad, dealt with the heart aches of loss, injury, trades and the passing of his friend Kobe Bryant, Chris doesn’t shy away from answering tough questions and setting the record straight on rumors over the years and giving us a court side seat to his 18+ years of evolving as a man and teammate to earn the respect and carry on making the name on the back of his jersey one we will never forget. Reflecting on childhood moments that helped shape him as the man he is today, Chris emotionally remembers the strength and work ethic he learned at an early age from his grandfather who he tributes so much of his growth and success to. Scoring 61 points after his grandfather’s passing in his honor seemed serendipitous to the story of family and the foundation he would continue to build upon as his career and life evolved. Recognizing how fortunate he was to grow up with both his parents and maintain a close bond, Chris has prided himself in always being a hands on dad and takes that job the most serious and with the most joy. And of course Channing couldn’t let CP slide without asking him about the infamous Banana Boat photos that surfaced years ago…definitely don’t want to miss this one! Learn more about your ad choices. As the 2017, number 3 overall NFL draft pick, Solomon entered the league filled with positive expectations and a path of promise with the 49ers when a year later, his beautiful sister took her own life after struggling with depression, anxiety and PTSD. Solomon courageously and emotionally shares how his sister struggled with certain sides of her mental health and how her life ending tragedy became a painful lesson and teaching tool for his life’s purpose beyond playing football. Dealing with the aftermath and fighting through guilt while overcoming the stigma that being a NFL player makes him tough or not allowed to feel certain emotions, Solomon created a foundation and dedicated a large part of his life to helping others and being an advocate for mental health in his sister’s memory. Relying on his NFL family to keep him grounded and football still being his number one passion, Solomon formed a special bond and turned to Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott who shared a similar family tragedy as him, and used the strength Dak portrayed to help guide him on his purpose outside of the NFL. Dak showed Solomon that it’s ok to not be on certain days and helped inspire him to turn his loss into faith for others who may be helped by hearing his story. Although this conversation is a tough one to have, it’s an important one filled with vulnerability and accountability in overcoming certain life obstacles while maintaining the strength to accept the emotions associated with struggle. He dives into what makes Jokic so hard to contain and how Jimmy Butler evolved into a new role and it’s working for him and he’s just flat out going off! But despite those two dynamic players, Mikal is leaning towards Boston to finish it out (if they can stop bullshitting and letting teams stick around) or it could end up the Lakers despite being down 2 games heading back home.  Breaking down the trade that sent him to Brooklyn, Mikal has adapted a positive mentality of making the most of every opportunity and although was disappointed at first to leave behind what they were building with his Suns’ teammates, he’s wholeheartedly welcomed the NY spotlight and looking to next season to build upon what he was able to get a taste of the last couple months with the Nets. Becoming a better leader and working at his game everyday, Mikal says he took parts of what he’s learned playing with all the talent he’s been surrounded with and from afar, watching Stef Curry’s leadership capabilities and how he works with his teammates and earns their respect is something he continues to strive for.  Growing up outside of Philadelphia, Mikal was a hometown favorite with a stand out run at Villanova before being drafted by Sixers and immediately traded to Phoenix. He credits his humble mentality and living each day with gratitude to his mother who he says “does not play around” and has always kept him on the straight and narrow path! Alaysha Johnson: US Track & Field Olympian on qualifying for Paris Olympics in the 100meters Hurdles, having no sponsorships, underdog journey & goals to Gold19 Jul 202400:59:55
"I did it with no sponsorships. I did it with a black designer on my chest. I did it with a long weave and nails and lashes and everything that everyone told me was going to hold me back. I did it!"  Alaysha Johnson was always counted out and overlooked. But after an epic performance beating her personal-best time and capturing the silver medal at the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials in the 100meter Hurdles...she did it. This conversation on The Pivot platform resonates with the hosts and listeners to understand some stories are bigger than headlines and about making an impact, in ways that can only be felt through purpose. And on a new episode of the Pivot in partnership with Fanatics, "Lay" Johnson chats with Ryan, Channing, and Fred to uncover the Olympian's long journey to Paris, revealing this strong woman behind the inspirational athlete. Lay ran a 12.31-second 100-meter hurdles in Oregon to qualify for the Paris Olympics, but she describes how her path to Team USA is different from most of her teammates. She talks about the financial struggles of running track without sponsors, without access to gear, and how she had to work several jobs while training at same time before finally committing full-time to the sport. Although the road has been had and full of tears, Lay's decision has paid off, and the guys ask about how she overcame that type of pressure and underdog mentality. Four years ago Lay wasn’t even running track, and she talks with the guys about her range of emotions when she finally got to put Olympian next to her name. She suffers from hypothyroidism, preventing her muscles from growing back at an average rate, and describes the mentality she must have to keep working despite these physical problems.  Discussing the lack of money in the sport, and trying to explain the feeling of having one 12-second race dictate whether she can afford rent and pay her bills. Lay is extremely independent and without a sponsor every race matters for her since there is no guaranteed money. Yet coming from working two jobs bartending late nights and early morning work outs, Lay touches on how she doesn’t fear the normal life like her competitors do since she has always had to work for what she wants, following in the footsteps of her mother. Lay shares with the guys that it’s usually her against the world, but in Paris she will be repping Team USA ready to show why she is the best in the world. And in an emotional moment, Lay gets a surprise phone call to make her Olympic Experience full circle as she finds out financial help is on the way to get her mom there to watch her compete, a dream come true. Known as one of the most dynamic and successful college football coaches under the Nick Saban tree, Sarkisian turned his low moments into lessons and his opportunities into a success story. After being fired from USC in 2015 mid season, Sarkisian sought treatment for alcoholism and worked to overcome personal struggles. Not being able to find any coaching job and about to give up and turn into a different career path, Sark received a call from Nick Saban who saw something in him to give him a shot. Embracing his second chance to the fullest, Sarkisian opens up on how his own trials and tribulations have helped made him navigate coaching and relationships with more of an open mind. Becoming the head coach of University of Texas football team in 2022, he makes it known that Nick Saban saved his career and he wouldn’t be where he is today without Saban’s grace, which is why he chooses to extend the same courtesy to others on this journey. NIL and the transfer portal have been big topics throughout college athletics and one that our very own, Fred Taylor feels very strongly about. Fred asks Sarkisian about his perspective on NIL and the transfer portal and as a head coach how he combats this during recruitment. Steve talks about the tool of adaptability and finding the positives in change. Promoting a philosophy of not allowing players to come back to the team if they've entered the transfer portal, Sark believes they’ve maintained a steady program at Texas due to transparency and truly selling that playing for Texas is a 40-50 year decision rather than a 4-5 year decision. Aaron Donald the 8x All Pro & Super Bowl Champ on first year without NFL Training Camp, talks illustrious career but opens up on the struggles masked by the highs, Sean McVay's impact, Super Bowl loss, bond w/ his wife & his next chapter16 Jul 202401:08:01
"I am complete. It was a storybook ending."  Being able to walk away from any career on own terms is something we all want when we are ready for that next chapter but to say farewell to football, a game you love and dedicated your life to, feeling satisfied, complete and accomplished is truly more than one could ever dream of and after 8 Pro Bowls in 10 seasons, a Super Bowl trophy, and a decade of memories, future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald reflects on how his career was more than just football... Ryan, Channing and Fred sit down with recently-retired Aaron Donald, one of the best to ever put the pads on, to go through his football journey, from the 5yr old kid who just wanted to compete to becoming the respected man who led his team to two Super Bowls while having a family-first mentality of being a father and husband...Aaron opens up about much more than we saw on the outside and his process that guided him to stepping away from the game after 10 seasons. From the outside, Aaron Donald's career resembles as close to perfection as can be, but AD shares with the guys that there were a lot of tough moments for him mentally, personally and physically that he endured while accepting the role as not just the face of a franchise but the face of the NFL. Experiencing the lows of LA's Super Bowl 53 loss to the highs of the team's Super Bowl 56 victory, Aaron talks about the importance of him reaching that key team accomplishment in the game which surpassed all of his individual accolades he achieved. Going in-depth about key relationships from Coach Sean McVay, to teammates, to his parents to the bond he has with his wife, Aaron touches on the struggles and emotional rollercoaster during certain moments and reflects on the memories his illustrious career provided. Sharing inside locker room stories and never-told before stories, Aaron opens up on every aspect of who he is and strived to be as the player, the son, the father, the husband and the teammate.  On the field, the world saw one of the fiercest football players to ever play the game, but during this vulnerable conversation, the guys peel back the layers of a man who wore his heart on his sleeve and how he became synonymous with hard work and dedication to his craft, ultimately retiring as one of the best defensive players in the history of the NFL.  Coming out of high school, coaches thought AD was undersized, and he only had only 3 scholarship offers for football but Aaron made the most of his opportunities and played with a chip on his shoulder proving the position is about strength, skill and technique not just size. Aaron shares how he developed his alpha mentality at a young age and relied on his family, father and brothers to help instill character, work ethic and a survivor mentality which motivated his mindset from early days as a Pitt Panther through his last game as a Los Angeles Ram.  Walking away from what you love is never easy, but Aaron has no regrets and certainly no unfinished business as for him it was never about playing for a paycheck, it was always about the passion for the process and yearning to be the best. Entering his first summer without training camp, AD doesn't feel the void of football as he feels his life is complete in so many areas that his next chapter might be his best yet. It's about family now, as he credits his wife and kids for being a big part of his career and expresses ultimate gratitude to his wife Erica for always having his back and putting his well-being first all these years which leads to a deeper conversation about mental health, and not being afraid to open up and share when times get dark.  New episodes drop on Tuesdays at 12 p.m. ET and Fridays at 3:30 p.m ET on YouTube, with audio available on all streaming platforms including Apple, Spotify and Amazon. The two Tiger teammates share how their tight knit bond has motivated one another, held each other accountable and supported each other through the highs and lows of the past couple months while building a championship mentality every time they stepped on the court. Both women growing up in single mother households, attribute their determination and swag to their mothers who paved the way for them to have the opportunities they do. Angel took Flau, a freshman, under her wing after bumping heads early in their season and led by example to show Flau and her other teammates what it takes to have a heart of a champion. Angel, named the Most Outstanding Player Of 2023 NCAA Championship, is known for her dominant play on the court just as much for her voice off the court as well. Amassing over 1M social media followers, Angel shares how she has used her position in sports not just to be one of the best to do it but setting out to be most influential as well. She shares with the guys her thought process for some of her comments and double downed on her words being proud of the lane she has created for herself and women who look like her. Pursuing a passion of music all her life, Flau’jae was always doubted that she could be successful as a rapper and a basketball player but being named SEC freshman of the year after winning the NCAA title has proved the naysayers wrong. Flau’ said her “ahhh moment” was Sunday evening when the confetti was pouring down and she was hugging the championship trophy while her song blared through the speakers of the arena…Flau’ emotionally shared how meaningful it all was to have everything click at once and grateful to her mother for never giving up their plan and paid a special tribute to her father who was killed before she was born. Channing gets the girls laughing and asks about Coach Mulkey’s fashion style for game days asking if they get to hold her accountable for her outfit choices just as she holds them accountable for their play on the court.
