For the fifth year in a row, Audi is the Official Partner of Photo Vogue Festival. The car manufacturer symbolised by the four interlocking rings continues the collaboration with Vogue Italia to scout and support the next generation of contemporary photography talents. On the occasion of Photo Vogue Festival 2020, Audi and Vogue Italia have selected a young Italian photographer with a talent for translating the diverse and multifaceted female universe into images. "In the picture - S​hifting perspectives in fashion photography" is an exhibition curated by ​Alexandra von Fuerst, Camila Falquez, Nadine Ijewere and Ruth Ossai for Photo Vogue Festival 2020. They are all “contemporary socially conscious fashion photographers”. They belong to a new generation of artists whose aesthetics are a hybrid of genres, and are themselves a driving force for change. Their work engages in a dialogue with visual arts and journalism, as well as with an assimilated desire to balance out the various levels of representation. The work of Camila, Nadine, Alexandra and Ruth avoids being didactic whilst touching on issues of gender, race, and womanhood, and is simultaneously glamorous, vibrant and powerful. For this exhibition, Photo Vogue Festival 2020 gives space to their vision, initiating a four-way dialogue where the artists are also curators. “All in this together” is an exhibition curated by Alessia Glaviano and Francesca Marani for Photo Vogue Festival 2020.
A showcase of work by 30 photographers that collectively create a hymn to love and hope, a sense of community, and of solidarity and empathy. The theme for this open call exhibition was conceived following the universal experience of the impacts of Covid-19 spreading beyond borders and barriers.
