Hi I'm Harvey
14 Oct 2024

The same guests often appear on podcasts like The Diary of a CEO, Chris Williamson, and The Joe Rogan Experience, but what truly sets each show apart is the host. That’s why I wanted to share my own journey, mindset, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
From growing up on a small island in the Channel to studying at Eton College and now at Duke University in the US, my experiences have shaped my curiosity and my drive to learn from the world’s best. I think there are commonalities between the journeys, learnings, and mindsets of the World’s top performers whether they are Authors, Olympics God Medallists, CEOs, Founders, Billionaires, Actresses etc
By speaking to a broad range of guests, I hope to offer fresh perspectives and avoid repeating the same narratives. My podcast, Personable, is constantly evolving as I learn more from these world-class achievers, and I’m excited to share these insights with you as we strive to become the best versions of ourselves.

Through her determination in bringing the club together, working with a re-shuffled board, and the now England coach Steve Borthwick Leicester came back after having nearly being demoted to winning the Premiership the following season. In this episode, I was very privileged to hear from the first female CEO in Premiership rugby, to learn about her leadership strategies, both her goals and lessons from the club, Leicester’s analytical approach, and her wider thoughts about the game itself.

THE SEX EDUCATOR: How Mehdi Educated 10,000s on Sexual Health in Tunisia (TuniSex)
21 Jul 2024
01:00:03
Mehdi Chouikha is the first Tunisian undergraduate student and a Karsh Scholar at Duke University. With an online following of over 45,000, Mehdi uses his platform, TuniSex, to educate tens of thousands on sexual health in his birthplace, Tunisia. He studied at the prestigious African Leadership Academy in South Africa and participated in the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program in California.
Mehdi’s life philosophy emphasizes critical thinking and challenging societal norms. "I’m always sceptical of what I’m told, of society, of traditional beliefs. Instead, I rely on critical thinking, life experiences, and education to make sense of the world. I keep pushing the limits of what I’m told is possible, and so far this has taken me from a modest household in Tunisia to travelling the world and studying at the best institutions."
Mehdi often reflects on his thoughts and then tests them in the real world, documenting his experiences. For example, he once wore patches on his eyes to simulate blindness for 24 hours, walked 14 hours straight to reach intriguing, remote places on the map, tested the limits of his physical endurance, and hitchhiked to live with random people for new perspectives. His countless stories, which seemed sensible in the moment, now appear incredibly adventurous in hindsight.

A deep dive into truth, narrative, and the power of storytelling in the modern age.
Personable is a podcast dedicated to helping listeners become the best they can be by learning from the world’s best in their respective fields. This mission is inspired by my mother, Louise, who encouraged me to become the best version of myself before she passed away from cancer in 2023.
I made a podcast with two of my best friends. In this episode of Personable, I sit down with Gabe Cooper and Jayden Lewis—two of the closest people in my life here at Duke. We talk about what college is really like: from imposter syndrome and roommate stories to club rejections, late-night convos, and how we’re all just trying to figure life out. Whether you're applying to Duke, already here, or just curious what it’s like to grow up in an environment full of pressure, passion, and people you’ll never forget—this one’s for you.
