PIBC#62- Sulli Sullivan
Saison 2 · Épisode 62
mercredi 23 décembre 2020 • Durée 58:34
Sulli is your typical one-of-a-kind backline tech, spending over 30 years making it work and keeping cool. It doesn't matter if it's a club or big outdoor stage, she's left her prints all across the live music world.
PIBC#61- Beckie Campbell
Saison 2 · Épisode 61
mardi 8 décembre 2020 • Durée 54:39
Beckie is a FOH mixer, production manager and podcaster who I have had the great pleasure to work with. She tells us about what her role is in a digital sound world. She also has pictures of me sleeping in the front lounge so be nice to her. Check out her podcast at https://soundgirlspod.podbean.com/
PIBC#52- Kevin O'Connor
Saison 2 · Épisode 52
lundi 10 août 2020 • Durée 01:24:05
A founding member of Bitterman Circle, Kevin discusses housecoats, cake and ethics. Will the pandemic end or retirement come first? Who can say? After finding civilized touring it seems a shame to walk away.
PIBC#51- Jerry Manuel
Saison 2 · Épisode 51
jeudi 6 août 2020 • Durée 01:06:37
Yeah, I had all kinds of artsy "deep" questions for our guest and what do you know, we got road stories and a lot of laughs. Point 5 is a story teller and has gigged forever. Let him break-it-down for ya!
PIBC#50- Terry Lawless
Saison 2 · Épisode 50
lundi 27 juillet 2020 • Durée 01:02:57
The Circle turns 50! Good thing we have a damn good guest. Terry Lawless tells us why Good Enough is not Good Enough.
PIBC#49- Chad Zaemisch
Saison 2 · Épisode 49
lundi 20 juillet 2020 • Durée 01:12:04
In lieu of our Landscaping roots, Chad and I discuss the finer points of Sherpa teching. What does it take to be an advocate for one person when there are 50,000 waiting for you to go away?
PIBC#48- Ricky "Chain$aw" LaPointe
Saison 2 · Épisode 48
dimanche 12 juillet 2020 • Durée 01:15:09
Another old friend visits the Circle and tells his story. Chainsaw and I met in 2003 on the Rising tour. In classic fashion we hear the tale of drawing a line towards something and getting there. Note: no guitars, golf carts, chafing dishes or picnic tables were harmed during this podcast.
PIBC#47-Rich Locklin
Saison 2 · Épisode 47
lundi 6 juillet 2020 • Durée 01:19:55
This week we talk to Lighting Director Rich Locklin, who's worn many hats over the years. We find out what it takes to unlight an artist, tour bonuses and how album covers can give you the inspiration to take it to the next level. As we wander from home and into the sacred spaces, we want you to know that no sage was burnt during the recording of this weeks show.
PIBC#46- Bobby Schneck
Saison 2 · Épisode 46
lundi 29 juin 2020 • Durée 45:48
This weeks interview is with Guitar Tech and Guitar Player Bobby Schneck. OK, maybe it's player then tech... listen long enough and you'll hear which way it is. I had the pleasure traveling with him in the early 2000's. Our backgrounds are different but our playlists are surprisingly similar.
Bobby proves with hard work and a big heart that you can have your dream job.
PIBC#45- Jim Corona
Saison 2 · Épisode 45
dimanche 21 juin 2020 • Durée 01:46:12
After 13 years Bitterman pulls the trigger and posts another podcast!
Different format, same cold coffee flavor.
Jim Corona is a modern day Jack of all trades, backline, production, sound design and mixing on a scale from a single XLR in the middle of a field to international festivals. I ask him a few questions about how his approach keeps him so busy. A bit rusty I am with my interview skills but that's no comparison to my shoddy sound work.
Enjoy!
