We've been doing deep dive episodes on New Hollywood topics so we figured we should probably cover some background. We're gonna have series of deep dives that all focus on one general topic. So we'll be on New Hollywood for a bit then do something else.

We got a double shot on this episode. First part is a behind the scenes look at the second Jacumba Breakdown in Jacumba, Ca. That'll be going down October 17-19. The second part is an interview with country/western/folk/rock n' roll singer Dylan Earl.

Alright it's going off the deep end. We start delving into the Process Church of the Final Judgement. A very litigious cult who was in some capacity related to the Family. They started in England, moved to America and trafficked in a variety of weird shit. There's porn tapes, sacrifices, drugs, revenge and more.

This is where the whole thing gets really confusing. The debate isn't about if they killed the people, they did. It's about why? who else was involved? Who has been successful in covering up their tracks? We meant to do one episode on this but there just so much. This is a start. We do get into detail on MkUltra here but there's a lot more. Including Tom Cruise's church.

Who was actually killed and when? How did it go down? We don't fully know, here's a series of events that seem to be at least mostly truthful. We based it on a number of books and accounts. As always there's holes in the story tho.

There's a lot of players and dates to this whole thing. We go over a somewhat clear timeline of what went on. It'll be helpful to have a good idea of it before we get real in the weeds with theories and specific events. Next episode we'll focus on the murders themselves and the wildly different accounts and weird details that surround them.

Everyone has an opinion on the whole Manson thing. His name alone is infamous. We're going to spend some time digging into different angles of the case as well as the person of Charles Manson, something that's often left out. In our introduction we go over the "official" story of what went down, some of the major players and where we plan on taking this series. It's gonna be a fun one. Also, while digging deeper into this stuff I've been having weird dreams. Probably unrelated right?
