Gary Staff hosted the No One Likes Us Talkin panel of Bethany Manktelow, Myles Thornton, and Stan Godwin.

The host and panel discussed the Luton result, our players' continual injuries, and the up-and-down start to the season.

Former Lions player Tony Dolby was our first guest. Tony talked about:

A former Lion, Phil Coleman returned with his Tales from the Boot Room.

Our second was Rob Woodford, a fan for 60 years and part of the Millwall Heritage and History Team. He talked about the Isle of Dogs tour he does with Mike George, his early days following the Lions, his most memorable game, and how he thought Millwall would do this season.

All guests and panel members contributed to the Teds Prediction League.

Former Millwall player and Millwall Exec Lounge Host Brian Horne considered Millwall’s season ahead, and spoke about his own career. Tim Sells, Football and Sports Development Manager at Millwall Community Trust reflected upon the Player Performance Pathway, Premier League Kicks, and mental health sessions. Jeff Burnige looked back upon Phil Walker’s funeral and the celebration of Phil’s life. Libby Stubbs, former Millwall Lionesses skipper gave her thoughts on departing the Lionesses in the closed season. The team previewed our match against Sheffield United.

Former Millwall player and assistant Bromley Manager Alan Dunne considered Millwall’s season ahead, the new players and his own highlights with Bromley FC. Millwall fan Sam Gardiner reflected upon a significant match that has left him with strong memories. Jeff Burnige updated the team on Millwall Lionesses. Kai Bennet reflected upon our friendly with Ipswich. The team previewed our matches against Stoke and Cambridge.

Join Eamonn Barclay and his panel of Bethany Warren, Jeff Burnige and Stan Godwin for the first show of the season, which commenced with a short tribute to former Lion Phil Walker RIP. They also were discussing forwards, friendlies, new players, under 23’s and the academy. BBC and Millwall commentator Karl Bates considered questions from the panel surrounding the Millwall season ahead and Karl’s anticipated return to Carrow Road. Millwall Community Trust’s Sean Daly, updated on the FREE Summer camps in Southwark and Lewisham, new initiatives, and the role of the Trust at the proposed North Kent elite training facility. Paul Loding reviewed the summer activities of the Millwall Romans and Pride and previewed what’s ahead for the teams next season. Former Lionesses captain was bid farewell and all the best in pastures new.
