She is a native of Charlotte, NC and is excited to help women in the community that she grew up in. She graduated from Howard University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health Science and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2011. She first became interested in pelvic health right after PT school when she had the privilege of shadowing a Women’s Health physical therapist and got a glimpse of how many problems women undergo with their pelvic floor that have a huge impact on their life. It wasn’t until she delivered her oldest son that she felt the many changes bodies go through while carrying and caring for a baby.
