A Ukrainian DJ, producer and label owner who’s a YouTube, clubland and streaming phenomenon, with over 200 million cumulative views and almost 800,000 monthly Spotify listeners. A trailblazing artist in the progress/melodic space with a huge online following hooked on her exquisitely crafted and produced releases.
And Miss Monique is a breakthrough recording artist who cut through in 2023. And she released three big singles of her own: Subterranean, The Morning After (with Paul Thomas) and City Boy.
This, then, is Miss Monique’s kaleidoscopic world. It’s a space where her signature green hair (an accidentally iconic look now much-copied by fans) is far from the only colour in the creative palette of an effervescent, positivity-promoting artist who prioritises good mental and physical health. Those ideas are also at the heart, sonically and metaphorically, of her epically uplifting, powerfully percussive latest track, Veselka. Long teased as the opener in her sets, the instrumental was finally released on Siona Records at the top of ’24. The translation of that Ukrainian word? Rainbow. Born in 1989 in Bulgaria, Stoyan grew up in the 90 realizing his love for trance music. A rtists such as ATB, Gabriel & Dresden, Above & Beyond, Vincent de Moor, Ferry Corsten, Chicane, Push, Deadmau5 formed his musical mind. He started producing music at the age of 15 but had never been opened about it and mostly kept it a secret, being afraid that his early productions werent good enough to play around. After thousands of hours spent in front of the computer his music started getting better and his first release Lost came out on 2010 with Echalon Records under his trance alias Jady Synthman. At 2014 he established his own record label – called Save the Panda in order to release his own productions. In the early 2015 he discovered a genre that has nothing to do with trance – deep house & nu disco. Under his new alias, Stoto tries to keep the melodic touch and atmosphere from his previous music experience and to breathe in some fresh beats to one of the fastest growing markets on the electronic music scene. His first ever release as Stoto – All Alone came out on Save The Panda recordings late 2014. His breakthrough however came a few months later with his remixes of Sia – Chandelier & Meiko – Leave The Lights On. Both those bootlegs picked up the attention of some of the biggest youtube music channels. Mid 2015 one of the biggest DJs in deep house – Ahmet Kilic, contacted Stoto personally and proposed some collaboration projects. This really picked up the pace of development for Stoto as a deep house artist. 2016 was pretty successful for Stoto having many of his original and remix tracks played all around the world. He is indeed one of the most promising talents on the scene as the rest of his history is yet to be written. Compiled & mixed by Paul Sidorov

Being able to carry their identity a step forward after each performance, Triart decided to redefine their story by making their productional processes far away from the eyes when they felt they needed to create hypnotic tunes blended with dark melodies which have inspired their sets over time. Almost after a two-year hiatus, Triart redefines itself with a brand-new sound and story, moving to a different dimension. His deep passion for electronic music caused the foundation of Acker Records in 2006, which he leads as its mastermind, as well as the launch of 3000° Records in 2008. And that’s still not enough: The always cheerful dude from the north-eastern German state of Mecklenburg is also involved in the projects Rundfunk3000 and Eulenhaupt & Mollenhauexr. Behind the turntables as well as live, Mollono.Bass presents minimal Techhouse beats which directly aim the dance floor and therefore always contain a proper portion of bounce. The efficiency of his grooves has been proved by various successful productions and remixes on Acker and Ostwind Records. Also, Molle’s talent has already been smelled beyond the herring pond, a collaboration with Los Angeles resident Absurd Records will present a series of his tracks. Like already known from his productions for Kombinat100, Mollono.Bass embeds warm, groovy and driving drum sets into a dubby, harmonic and emotional soundscape. His organic tunes with a touch of atmospheric sounds take the listener on a journey through time and space. Who does not feel like dancing when listening to this music, should probably just stay at home! Compiled & mixed by Paul Sidorov

She remembers how, with tears in her eyes, she asked her mother to send her to study at a music school, but at that age she was not taken. Then, for Victoria's sake, mom agreed with the school management and she was taken from an early age, although she had to study in a preparatory class for 2 years. Her love for music is something that has remained unchanged. Music has always supported in difficult times and enhanced the state of joy in moments of happiness. In her youth, Victoria loved the trance direction very much, but now she prefers the Organic House direction, which helped to form a special love for creating an atmosphere in her tracks. As Victoria says: "My music is melodies and tunes that I want to listen to again and again, my music is a state of flight and euphoria. Each track is a synthesis of the east and the depth of the soul"... Compiled & mixed by Paul Sidorov

The young Berliner started to write lyrics and produce hiphop beats whilein High school. The combination of melodies, drums and bass-lines got him very excited at that time and slowly a small studio with synths and analogue toys began to develop in his lounge. As a runner in Berlin club ‘Kater Holzig’, he gained insight into the microcosmos of electronic dance music. He was most fascinatedin the music’s ability to transport mood and feelings without the usual misunderstandings of language. Music has always been Midas’ form of expression and thus the hiphop producer moved to new shores: in the studio he experimented with his own house beats and dealt intensively with harmonies. Quite soon his melancholic driving style of deep house crystallised and he found approval through his first releases on URSL, Einmusika, Dantze, Katermukke and Parquet. Music-wise, Midas 104 captivates with his thoughtful arrangements of strong bassdrum, harmonic melodies and dreamy synths which he combines in thrillingarcs of suspense. Not being influenced by electro trends of recent years, the virtuosic newcomer wants honest sound: with soul and maturity he stimulates towards self-reflection and aims to bring the listener closer to himself— frequently leading to goose bump moments on the dance floor. Midas presents his meticulousness for producing in his atmospheric live sets which occur in cities all across Europe. Many see him as one of the most promising talents in the Berlin’s dance-music scene, and his tireless ambition has many looking forward to seeing just how far he will go… SoundCloud / AppleMusic / Facebook / Instagram / Beatport Compiled & mixed by Paul Sidorov

Comprised of Luigi Tutolo and Andrea Di Ceglie, Agents Of Time began their collaborative project in 2013... Their signature sound, which has won over audiences worldwide, is an ideal blend of melodic techno and dark house. Over the course of a decade, Agents Of Time have established themselves as a leading producer and DJ duo on the global electronic scene, and they've marked their 10th anniversary by founding a new label, "Time Machine.” They made their breakthrough in the electronic music scene just a year later with their debut album “Spread The Word“ on Stem Records. Subsequently, they released the EP “Magma“ on the Ellum Audio label, founded by Maceo Plex, as well as a remix of the song “Traces“ by Danish experimental pop band WhoMadeWho, and the EP “Polina.“ Their brilliant remix of The Weeknd’s electro-pop track “Take My Breath“ which they transformed into a melodic techno crossover, has amassed over 3.5 million views in just one year. Their EP “Mirage,,“ released on the renowned Afterlife label last year, is still a staple at parties around the globe. Last year they released their second album, “Universo,” a conceptual framework of their universe, filled with uniquely personal moments, vibrancy, and energy. It’s an experimental album in which they explore the farthest reaches of their universe, with flexible disco and techno-pop elements alongside their distinctive melodic techno sound. Earlier this year, they also founded a new label, Time Machine, the third in line after Obscure and Curle Recordings, with “Zodiac” being its first release. The single portrays deep space exploration with astral techno synthesizers, subtle drums, ambient atmosphere, and a distinctly futuristic feel. “Zodiac” is an epic start to what will surely become a vital new label with a unique sound. Agents Of Time demonstrate in the best possible way that techno has soul, and the decade behind them has showcased their extraordinary talent and success. Compiled & mixed by Paul Sidorov

Siamese. What’s in a name? For Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, it’s a decade – and counting – of joint creativity. After getting to know each other in Zürich in 2008, Adrian & Adrian became inseparable, not just as friends, but also as artists. The two men carved out a career as one of the most consistently delivering DJ/producer duos in the house and techno scene: Adriatique. The key to an enduring partnership is, of course, to complement each other, and the two Adrians do so admirably. Music-wise, their various tastes combine into one unique sound, and their respective preference for studio work and performance means that both aspects are equally well covered. Adriatique’s DJ performances as well as their productions are long, meditative, relentlessly building affairs, ever challenging the listener with subtle twists interrupting their hypnotic groove. There is more to the duo than just a well-oiled electronic music machine, however. They also live together, draw plans together, and support art in all its forms together. After almost a decade of joint work, 2016 saw the fulfillment of Adrian and Adrian’s long-held wish: the founding of their very own music label annex platform for the arts. Called Siamese, their imprint releases Adriatique’’s own music as well as productions by others, as long as it adheres to the Adrians’ creed: that music should be meditation. Going above and beyond the average for a label, Siamese also supports visual and performance artists, organizing club nights that place these collaborators in the spotlights just as much as the musical stars. Drawing from their own experience as strangers turned fulltime partners, Adrian and Adrian know that it is the bridging of differences that breeds creativity. This is why, in the future, they plan on expanding their network of collaborators as well as the creative scope of Siamese’s activities. Ameli - Lost In Fades INNELLEA – a neologism; created in reference to musical reinvention. Neither restrained nor bound by conventions, Innellea’s visions and impressions are visibly transferred into music. The Munich-based live act, DJ and producer combines melancholic, cinematic soundscapes and a distinct, percussive touch in his unique and abstract sound. The result is an intimate listening experience which hovers between melodic introspection and explosive, post-apocalyptic club music. He took the scene by storm in 2019, leaving a dusty cloud in his wake. Innellea was first a secret weapon for some of the techno scene’s leading DJs, before his music was released via Afterlife, Innervisions and Diynamic. From then on, Innellea’s colourful and intricate rhythms captivated crowds worldwide. Tracks like ‘Vigilans’, ‘Forced to Bend’ and ‘The World Returns’ are good examples of the bold musical statements which define the project. From the success of his releases came live sets and a wealth of unreleased tracks, creating a global hype around his name. Innellea continues to rewrite the rulebook with each release and live performance. Whenever in need of driving spheres, impulsive vibes and touches of genuine feeling, Innellea’s music will be there. Just in time to broaden your mindset. BEATPORT / SOUNDCLOUD / YOUTUBE Compiled & mixed by Paul Sidorov

ÄTNA - Prospect Solomun - After Rain comes Sun Solomun - Fantazija Solomun - Forever Solomun - Story of my Life Solomun, Agoria, Blasé - You're Not Alone Solomun feat. ÄTNA - Tuk Tuk Solomun - Somebody's Story Solomun - Nada Solomun - Sisi Solomun - Friends Solomun - Dre For Solomun, music isn’t just a tool to make people dance. Music is as diverse as life itself: many different shades, moments, and memories to be made. Music triggers emotions and vice versa, and this sort of interrelation – with Solomun representing the music and the audience emotions – is what casts the spell around his performances. His “Solomun +1” residency at Pacha Ibiza started in quite a laid-back fashion – with him doing his own thing, moving the DJ booth into the centre of the club to be close to the people on the dancefloor instead of the usual high podium, and introducing a fairly unheard-of concept on the Island: a night together with only one friend. Since its commencement in 2013, “Solomun +1” has long become an Ibiza household name, with its “Solomun + LIVE” offshoot on the Island and +1 editions all over the world, be it Berlin, New York or Tulum... The same energy was what kicked off his music label Diynamic in 2006: A band of brothers with similar ideas, taste in music, and the volition to support each other. And, looking back, Diynamic turned out to be the stepping stone for many artists’ careers... All of this started somewhere small, but by being himself, an honest entertainer in the truest sense of the word, not a stage persona, Solomun came to be so incredibly sought after. He proved that the music is more important than the place it’s played at, because his sets, remixes and productions are bringing people together. And always, he is sending the same message: “Nobody is not loved...” Compiled & mixed by Paul Sidorov
