Welcome to the official podcast of "Lingala Kitoko," an online language course by Jk29. Since 2011, he used to teach people the English language, but he put a halt to it and decided to give online courses. That's what pushed him to create "Lingala Kitoko"
Lingala is an african language spoken mainly in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Republic of the Congo (Congo-brazza), the Central African Republic and as well as some part of the Republic of Angola.
About Jk29:
Jk29 was born in Kinshasa, in the DR Congo. He is the third child of 4. His father was Tshibatamba Bantupela (a former ship captain of ONATRA, deceased since December 2022) and of Mufuta Brigitte Hélène "a businesswoman"
Jk29's younger brother is a multitalents artist who goes by the name of Ej.
He, Jk29, started as a drummer, percussionist, and interpreter in the church in 2011.
In 2017, him and Ej founded their own Record Label: Kids from Downtown Kintambo Ent. Sometimes written as "Kids from Downtown Kintambo Prod."
Now, the following year, he released his first EP, which consists of 7 tracks entitled "Satisfied Life" with a leading single "Matondo"
Kids from Downtown Kintambo Prod has signed many artists, such as: Dmj Cash, Hosannel Juvi, Dicky Bro, Lydie K Banza, Patrick Lukusa, Jency Boy Mikishi and etc...
Jk29 can speak 4 languages fluently, namely: English, Lingala, French, and German. He is re-learning Spanish and has been learning Japanese since January 2022.
