She has led numerous projects, including: best practices documentation for urban infrastructure management.

Episode 4 in our Wildlife is Focus series on Now Boarding is a conversation with Bangalore based Kalyan Varma an accomplished, award-winning wildlife photographer, film maker, and explorer. Working on a freelance basis with the NatGeo channel and international independent production companies, he has made wildlife protection and environmental issues his priority for life. Now Boarding brings in 2023 with a  new meaningful series Wildlife in Focus!  Episode 3 is a conversation with Sebastian Kennerknecht a wildlife photographer and conservationist with over 14 years of experience. Concerned about the extinction of the species of WildCats, he passes down his knowledge and conservation measures. 

Sebastian Kennerknecht has been visually reporting wildlife and environmental issues around the world, with a specialty on wild cats in particular. He has created high-quality editorial images, time-lapse movies, and digital content that has been featured in and by renowned publications. He collaborates with field biologists to obtain photos of some of the world's rarest cats while simultaneously emphasising the challenges they face. Sebastian has photographed twenty-three of the forty species of wild felids in twenty-nine different countries while working for conservation organisations and magazines.

Her work is informed by her scientific background, and she uses her imagery to communicate science and conservation. Jennifer has a degree in marine biology and a PhD in interdisciplinary ecology. She specialises in underwater photography and is a trained freediver and cave diver. 

An ongoing theme in her work is the connection between people and water in a changing climate. Her grant-funded and assignment work has taken her all over the world to document science and conservation for The Nature Conservancy, National Geographic, Huffington Post, Vox, and the International Women's Media Foundation. Jenny is a freelance photojournalist represented by National Geographic Image Collection.

She's an Atelierista and Arts Integration Specialist for the International School of Panama and the founder of the Transcontinental Educator Artist Collective for Humanity (TEACH).  Keep listening to understand her goal in integrating the arts into the curriculum.Patricia is the founding director of The Teaching Artists Institute in Maryland and former Chief Innovation Officer for Young Audiences in Maryland. The arts helped her to bridge her two worlds and better express herself when she struggled with language. She wants to help all students (especially those who struggled like her) to love school and love learning.  Patricia also directed the Teaching Artists Institute, an intensive training program for Teaching Artists who want to integrate their art form into the school curriculum. She helps her students explore the hundreds of languages of the arts, music, dance, theatre. In the final Season 1 episode of Now Boarding our guest is a young entrepreneur and sustainability enthusiast Vanshita Khanna.

 Vanshita talks about her cosy cafe @cafelakesidenainital tucked away in the mountains of Nainital and her take on eco tourism.

Vanshita Khanna, who is a graduate from Indian School of Business, Bengaluru, belongs to the hills and was raised in the beautiful town Nainital, in Uttrakhand. After completing her graduation, Vanshita decided to return to her roots, and help her father who runs a hotel in Nainital, called Hotel Lake Side Inn. Staying away from home made her realise that mountains are where her heart is. In the pursuit of her love for her hometown, she opened a cosy cafe @cafelakesidenainital in the premises of her fathers hotel. She is environmentally conscious and believes that as a business owner or a tourist we should feel accountable and take necessary precautions for the collateral damage that the tourism industry has on the environment.

As the founder of the national NGO "Together for Blue and Green," Selma is dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainable practices. Her commitment extends beyond national and regional efforts.

Selma serves as the focal point for the environment and human rights thematic group at the Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY), advocating for the intersection of environmental protection and human rights issues.

Being recognised for her expertise and advocacy, she was funded by UNEP to represent Algeria and the North African region at the SAICAM IP4.2 conference in Nairobi, Kenya.

Selma's organisational skills and vision were showcased through the successful inaugural edition of the "MENA Youth Environmental Assembly," organised in collaboration with YOUNGO and MGCY and supported by the Swedish Institute's funding.
