His guitar playing, which is primarily influenced by bluegrass and jazz, is showcased on his debut album of fiddle tunes entitled "Jake Eddy", which features such greats as Grammy-Award winning Bryan Sutton, Rob Ickes, and Kenny Smith. He tours as a sideman with the Becky Buller Band from Manchester, TN as well as his own group. Raised on an island in South Carolina, singer/songwriter Trevor Hall realized at a young age that music was more than just a passion - it was his life’s art. At sixteen, he recorded his first album. Shortly after, Hall left South Carolina for Idyllwild Arts Academy in California where he studied classical guitar and was introduced to the practices of yoga and meditation, which would greatly influence his life and his music. Hall’s music, a blend of roots and folk music with touches of electronic elements, is imbued with a deep love of Eastern Mysticism. This powerful symbiosis fostered a deep connectivity with his growing fan base and Trevor quickly matured into a leader of the burgeoning conscious musical community. We are so stoked to have our brother Will Hanza of Escaper back on No Simple Road this week! Escaper was formed in 2015 by Will Hanza (guitar, vocals) as a musical collective that pushed creative freedom. Joined in 2017 by Phil Kadet (keys, vocal), the band has become known for fun and fiery sets throughout northeast venues and music festivals. The band has welcomed sit-ins with members of bands such as the Disco Biscuits, Brazilian Girls, Thievery Corporation, Rubblebucket, Dopapod, Cabinet, Turkuaz and more. They have previously shared bills at Brooklyn Bowl with Jon Fishman (Phish), Karl Denson, and many other top performers.   After a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been joined by drummer Sam Crespo and bassist Luke Bemand. Crespo and Bemand bring a wealth of experience to the band; Crespo tours with notable future jam act Space Bacon, while Bemand handles the low end for heavy groove trio, lespecial.   The band recently released the EP, "Spaceship", which was a collaboration with Telefunken Studios.
