Siobhan always wanted to be a mum and after going on all the dating sites she told herself if she didn’t meet someone by the time she was 35 she would have a baby on her own. In 2003, it wasn’t possible for Claire to use a sperm donor through a clinic as a single woman single woman living in Victoria. A few months after she got the idea of having a child on her own, a shocking cancer diagnosis turned into a silver lining when she was deemed “medically infertile” so she could access treatment. Meet Kim and her adorable son Charlie.
