| Podcast #437: New Year. Same Bullshit… Or Not. | 05 Jan 2026 | 00:09:26 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION! Welcome back to another episode of "No More Excuses"! It's a new year—but let's be honest. If nothing changes, nothing changes. In this episode of No More Excuses, I cut straight through the New Year hype, empty resolutions, and recycled promises we make to ourselves every January. This is not a feel-good episode. It's a call-out. You'll be challenged to confront the one thing you've been avoiding—the habit, fear, excuse, or pattern that keeps following you into every new year. Listen in as I break down why motivation is overrated, why excuses feel comfortable, and why the challenge you don't want to face is the exact one standing between you and real growth. This episode also introduces the 30-Day NO EXCUSES Challenge, designed to help you stop negotiating with yourself and start showing up with consistency, ownership, and confidence. Comment with your email or email me at Sandi@SandiBallard.com to get your FREE 30-day challenge workbook! If you're done repeating the same year with a different calendar—and ready to actually do something about it—this episode is for you. New year. New standard. No more excuses. Cheers! Sandi

| Podcast #333: What Are You Giving? | 22 Aug 2022 | 00:07:22 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! If you are new here, message me who and where are you? Last Monday's podcast was about focusing on priorities to give you the opportunity to make progress on your goals and FEEL FREE because things are OFF your to-do list! And also making sure that you really expect to do great things before you even try! We all want more time, so by getting shit off your list that is NOT a good use of your time, you'll end up finding not just MORE time, but more of the RIGHT time! I talk about this in chapter two of my upcoming book, "Leverage"! I'm very excited as it is close to being published and ready for you to read! It's not just finding, making or somehow magically creating more time in the day, it's about what you do with it. Although I do love "FOUND TIME!" In last Thursday's social media post I shared a quote by Dr. Seuss, "The more you read, the more things you will learn. The more that you learn, the more places you will go." I liked that quote as a transition from all the reviewing I've had you do the last few weeks to being able to have the time and clear mindset to think about the future. Listen in today as I get you thinking MORE as we're looking at the last few months of the year! How can you dig deeper so you have the strength to LEVERAGE shit and finish the year strong? Why ask this so soon? Because preparation is a great way to ensure your success! I personally want a lot more! I want to learn a lot more and I definitely want to go to more places! But to get more, I need to become more and GIVE more! Listen in today and think about where you are, and where you want to go! And don't forget to follow me on social media to continue to build upon the success you've already had. DM or email me at sandi@sandiballard.com if you want help figuring it out what to do next to achieve your goals, contact me today! Trust me, investing in yourself is worth it, because YOU are worthy! I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers! Sandi

| Podcast #332: How Does it FEEL? | 15 Aug 2022 | 00:07:07 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. I honestly cannot believe it's Mid-August already! Thanks again to long-time podcast listener Steve Andert in Arizona recommending his wife, Christine of The Picture Lady Photography to take the photos for my upcoming book titled Leverage! It's exciting to think after a few years, I FINALLY am about to publish my fourth book. I set it as a goal for this year, and although it was a little late, I DID IT! Well… it's close. And I didn't give up. But what I did do is practiced what I preach. I made the book a priority. Like I talked about in Last Monday's podcast, reviewing your to-do list. What is NOT getting done? And, like the theme of my fourth book, learning to LEVERAGE other people's talents, skills, superpowers, so you have the time to focus on what YOU want and need to do to help you grow your business or career! Listen in today as I share what I heard from a few people about what they learned during their reviews and what they identified things they really didn't need to be doing themselves. And, one thing I've heard from clients over the years is "it's easier to do it myself", and my reply… "But at what cost?" It may be, but why aren't you handing things off? When it's been your baby for so long, it's hard to let things go. But trust me… it's SO FREEING to NOT have to do it all! Be CLEAR with your EXPECTATIONS! Remember a few weeks ago, in podcast 332 we talked about being open to new ways of doing things if that's OK! Looking at the process and the end result – which is the most important. Sometimes it is both! And if that's the case, then take the time to train, educate, provide clear instructions on HOW to do what you need help with! Passing things off may require a bigger investment of time at first, but in the long run, having those things off your to-do list will feel amazing! What have you FINALLY gotten off your to-do list? How does it feel? Share here, DM or email me at sandi@sandiballard.com what you've gotten off your list or what you NEED off your list to help you have the time to FOCUS and move forward! And if you just can't get it all done or understand what to do next to achieve your goals, contact me today! I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #331: It's Time to ASK! | 08 Aug 2022 | 00:07:53 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about reviewing your processes and procedures. Yes, if it ain't broke don't fix it, but do REVIEW it! Make sure it's still the BEST way. The most PRODUCTIVE and EFFICIENT way! In today's podcast, I share a few things people I heard from identified that needed updating and streamlining - for example one is using an employment agency now instead of trying to do it themselves. A couple others streamlined their services, one reduced the products they offer. What about you? Did you do your review? If not… why not? What are you afraid of finding? That shit's broken?! It happens! There is never a bad time to review your "world", just make sure that you do it! Just like reviewing your progress on your goals, are you on the right path? Are you doing the right things? Are the right people around you to help and support you? Listen in today as I share what I've known for a while that I need, and how it is going to help me. And over the next month I'll be sharing the RESULT of getting the help I need! We all can use some help at some point in our personal and professional lives. We can't be so proud that we end up off-track or giving up on goals because we won't ask for help. As I talk about in my upcoming book, "Leverage", we are all born with unique talents, and we need to leverage others to help us sometimes. I know I've talked about this before… but it's always a good reminder to REVIEW your to-do list. Listen in today and then share, DM me or email me at sandi@sandiballard.com It's time to LEVERAGE other people's talents, skills, superpowers! And if you can't figure out who or how to ask for help, let me help you figure it out! I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #330: Am I Interrupting You? GOOD! | 01 Aug 2022 | 00:10:05 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about stopping to really look into what's happening, what we are focusing on, WHO we are focusing on and who is around us. I suggested that you review review and REVIEW some more. And this week will be no different, except for WHAT you are reviewing. Doing things the way they've always been done can sometimes work, and other times, the complacency can stunt our growth and keep us from achieving the results we desire. Are you open to new ideas and ways to do things? In today's podcast, I talk about how I ask clients that and how that is a big part of my DiSC® workshops. It's important to be open-minded. It's also OK if you still do things "The xyz-company way". However, make sure you ask yourself, and allow others to ask: "Is it still the BEST and most PRODUCTIVE and EFFICIENT way?" What needs to change, upgrade, or be simplified? And if you can't figure out how to do your review, let me help you! Contact me now! Email me or click here to schedule! I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #329: Who's Taking Yours? | 25 Jul 2022 | 00:08:44 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about making sure you're focusing on the right goals and learning how to play BIGGER so you can achieve BIGGER goals! Last Monday I also touched briefly on the 80-20 rule in business. Which goes along the lines of making sure you're focusing on the right goals, but also the right tasks and even clients. Many business owners will spend 80% of their time on clients that only bring in 20% of the revenue. So, what should you do? Just like taking the time to review the progress on your goals, clean up your environment and make sure you're focused on the things that will help you achieve those goals, it's a great idea to take the time to review your clients, customers, patients; whatever you have! As well as your vendors, sub-contractors, partners of any kind – the people you need to help you. And you honestly you could do a staff or volunteer check as well! Listen in today as I share some success stories from clients who I helped with the reviews of their clients as well as staff, and someone who was a "nice guy", but was no longer doing the job we needed him to. Sometimes we can just get so caught up in our routines that we don't stop to really look into what's happening, what we are focusing on, WHO we're focusing on and who is around us. Listen in today and then take some time to review, review and REVIEW some more, who are the people around you? Who are you FOCUSING on? Are they taking up the majority of your time? Are they on the right seat on the bus? Are they a good fit and still what you need? And if you can't figure out how to do your review, let me help you! Email me or click here to schedule a session! I'm confident I can help you like I've helped my clients! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #328: Do You Want MORE? | 18 Jul 2022 | 00:08:29 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't forget to follow me on social media as I continue to get you thinking and taking action! Last Monday's podcast was about Dreaming BIGGER! Thinking about what you would do if money was no object and if fear didn't exist! What about NO fear for you? What have you been holding off doing for fear of failure? Fear of those pesky "what ifs"? What did you come up with? In last Monday's podcast, I shared my BIGGER dream and it has helped excite me about the possibilities! Like I told myself about my BIGGER DREAM, don't let yours distract you, I want it to MOTIVATE you! I want you to think about it so you realize you can have BIGGER dreams and you can do bigger things! We all can do a little more! But first DREAM IT! Create the VISION. Feel the excitement, happiness, and the MOTIVATION that you would get from achieving the success and bringing that dream to life! And then... PLAN IT! The last couple years have been so tumultuous for so now it's time to REJUVENATE your life, business or career. Ask yourself... "Are you playing too small?" I was told I was! Dreaming bigger. Playing bigger is like helping you amplify your life! Listen in today as I share how Dr. Benjamin Hardy talks about, don't just 2X your life, 10X your life! The bigger vision helps you focus on it instead of getting caught up with the little things How can you play bigger if you're getting bogged down with the wrong clientele? How can you play bigger if you're spending 80% of your time on the tasks that will only produce 20% of your results? Ask yourself… Are you ready to play bigger? Comment, DM or email me today and share! Contact me if you can't move past the fear! I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #327: How Big Are Yours? | 11 Jul 2022 | 00:09:22 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about Freedom and Independence. Does your job or business give you what you need to feel and experience both of these things? As I mentioned in last Monday's podcast, it's such an amazing thing to have the freedom to help others, for example business owners who provide their staff with paid hours to volunteer, or do so as a group. With both, you can take the necessary steps to grow both personally and professionally and achieve the SUCCESS you desire! What could more freedom and independence help you with, or do? We've all heard the phrases, "What would you do if money was no object?" or "What would you try if you had no fear?" Time to dream... and dream BIGGER! If you don't have the freedom that you'd like, or perhaps you aren't as independent as you need to be, if you had NO FEAR and MONEY wasn't an issue, what would you do? I'd love to hear it! Listen in today as I share my ideas about what I would do if money were no object! And, how I overcame, and did NOT allow fear to exist in my head once we moved from Indiana to Cali and then the $@(#* COVID hit and never left! Instead of listening to the fear, I focused on what I WANTED, and my VISION! YOUR TURN! I want you to dream! What would YOU do? Or do MORE of? Listen in today, and then check the social media posts this week to help you DREAM BIGGER! And, as always, email me or click here to schedule a session to help you get out of your own way, and MAKE SHIT HAPPEN! I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #326: Let Freedom Ring! | 05 Jul 2022 | 00:05:44 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Happy Independence Day – 4th of July for us 'Merican's! Last Monday's podcast was about reviewing your year so far and identifying if things are important enough for you to find a way to get them done or find an excuse! What did you do to finish June and the first half of the year strong?! I wanted to get my book to the editor, and well that did NOT happen for a couple reasons. I did NOT achieve my goal, and I am a bit disappointed, but I did not, and I won't give up! And I certainly didn't say, "well there's always next year or next month and stop! What about you? Did you achieve your 30-day goal? Did you make progress toward your overall yearly goals? As we begin July, we can really think about how to make shit happen! Listen in today and think about how can what you've set your mind on accomplishing help you achieve your INDEPENDENCE? What can you do to bring more freedom or independence into your life – personally or professionally? How does your business or job allow you the freedom to grow, to be creative, to help others and more! And how does that freedom allow you to be the confident, independent person you want to be? So today and this week… share in the comments or email me what you do and how you feel about what you do! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #325: Halfway Point of the Year. Where Are You? | 27 Jun 2022 | 00:07:14 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! If you're a new listener, or perhaps just haven't let me know yet... message me who you are and where are you? Last Monday's podcast was about accountability! We all need accountability to help us, and some people are better at holding themselves accountable than others. I understand, it's not always easy to do. And that's why I love what I do and have a job helping those who need more accountability! I also shared how there are consequences for not staying accountable, and how I have punished myself! Considering this week is the last week of June, and we have just four more days left in the halfway point of the year, there's still time to dig in and make progress! I know I've been working hard on my goal! I FOUND A WAY! As the image quote today says: "If it's important to you, you'll find a way, if not, you'll find an excuse"? What are you working on that is that important to you? Yes, sometimes, even I will admit that when up against a wall called a deadline, it causes you – and me – to get super-focused and get shit done! But that's not always the way to work! Listen in today as I talk about how at the end of each year my review with clients' goals is the same that I do now. I look at what's been carried over from day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month, I ask them WHY? We talk about it, and make sure it's truly important so it does NOT get to that infamous "there's always next year". If you're reviewing your goals and updating your to-do lists, you'll notice those things showing up again and again. You should ask yourself WHY? Yes, it's ONLY June, plenty of time. However it's ALREADY the END of JUNE... are you where you thought, want and need to be? I know what I'm doing this week to make shit happen and to achieve my goal... I found a way. What about you? So listen in and then share here in the comments, DM me or email me! If you honestly want to achieve it, but can't figure out how, contact me – email me – schedule a session today! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #324: We all NEED it! | 19 Jun 2022 | 00:11:27 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about envisioning your success and focusing on how it would FEEL to achieve it! Visualization is a great tool for people to help them really see what they want to achieve, and when you focus on that image, tapping into the FEELING you want to have by deciding the RESULT you desire as well as achieving the goal or whatever is in the photo. A few weeks ago, I talked about sustaining the actions that are getting you the RESULTS you desire. And all of that takes focus as well as the plan. Keep going, keep checking progress, keep focusing on the result and that feeling of success… EVEN IF you take a step backward! As my friend Carrie says, "Don't quit before the miracle happens!" Listen in today as I share what I accomplished last week and how it's helping me stick to my plan! And this week, the PLAN to SUSTAIN my progress is ACCOUNTABILITY! Yes, I live and breathe by it, and have talked about this quite a bit over the years of podcasting and in many of my talks and coaching sessions. We all need help with it, but sometimes you need to be able to hold yourself accountable. HOW DO I HOLD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE? I get asked that a lot as many people see me as very dedicated and habit driven. Yes, I am, and well for me, practicing what I preach is HUGE and is part of what holds me accountable! You wouldn't take your car to a mechanic who's car was in shitty condition would you? Listen in as today I give more tips on how to hold yourself accountable, including SHARING your GOALS with others! Like I talked about in my first book, "From There to Here", my friends called me out on the things I said I was going to do! And I know had they not, I wouldn't have written the book to help others learn HOW to get their shit together... like I did! I also share what I do if I do NOT make progress or get my list of to-do's done! Yep... consequences! ACCOUNTABILITY makes the world go 'round! When you take ownership of what you are doing – or not doing –that in a sense is holding yourself accountable. You "own up to" whatever the outcome is. Again, listen in today, as I share more about holding yourself accountable, like having self-Control and changing your environment to help you focus better. What about you? Listen in and then share! And, as always if something is getting in the way, like your mindset, and you just can't see the forest through the trees, contact me – email me – schedule a session today! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #427: It's May – Time to Bloom! | 05 May 2025 | 00:13:26 | |

It's May, and that means one thing—besides warmer weather, allergy season, and iced coffee overload—it's Small Business Month! That's right. This month is all about YOU, the badass behind the business. Whether you're solo or leading a growing team, this is your reminder that you're the heartbeat of our economy, the risk-taker, the late-night thinker, the go-all-in-er. And that deserves to be celebrated. But I'm not here just to throw confetti and give you a high five. You know me. I'm also here to push you. Because May isn't just a time to recognize small businesses… it's a time to bloom. Listen in today as I talk about:
And give you ways to encourage you to Celebrate Your Business... Loudly! Listen in and then share what you will do to help you and your business BLOOM! Cheers!
| Podcast #323: FOCUS on the FEELING! | 13 Jun 2022 | 00:09:54 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and my Facebook page BadassBusiness Coach – if new, message me who/where are you? Last Monday's podcast was about breaking the cycle of "saying" you're going to do something and actually DOING it! Stop talking and start doing! Not just set the goal, but create the action steps, the PLAN! AND, check your progress so you can stop making bullshit excuses and start making amazingly BADASS things happen! How'd you do? What did you do? In today's podcast, I share what I heard from some listeners and clients who did some great things! And, even I DID what I said I was going to do! I STOPPED TALKING and DID IT! I worked on my book three different times! And the next step… SUSTAINING that action! Really making sure you FEEL and SEE the RESULT of your actions and how it is helping you get closer to your GOAL! When I work with clients on their goals, I try to get them to envision the RESULT of achieving the goal to help them really understand more than the achievement… the FEELING you'll get by achieving it. It's all intertwined. Personal and professional life that is. If one is off, it affects the other part of your life and your goals. Yes, we can all get unbalanced at times, and I get asked a LOT about balance. It's all relative to what you do for a living, what and who is in your personal life. It's not the same for everyone. Sustaining the momentum without burning out. Yes, there is a fine line there! It's more about keeping the momentum going now that you've seen what you can do, and how it will help. Making sure that you continue to FEEL the achievement. It's like when you know you're going to do something that you're very excited about! You're excited, antsy, happier just knowing what you're about to do – the FEELING you have. Yes, you've heard of VISUALIZATION. Many people, including me have a vision board. It helps keep your goals and ideas in front of you. Listen in as I share a couple things about my vision board and how I use it to "feel the feels" and FOCUS on the feeling of achievement. And, as always if something is getting in the way, like your mindset, and you just can't see the forest through the trees, contact me – email me – schedule a session today! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #322: Time to Take ACTION! | 06 Jun 2022 | 00:11:14 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! If you're a new listener, message me who/where are you? Last week I gave myself permission to relax, rejuvenate and get refreshed as I knew I had been feeling "off" about the podcasts and didn't want to just toss something out there and it not be worthwhile! But if you missed it... message me and let me know! So the previous Monday's podcast was about having the mental capacity to do the shit you don't want to do, but know you need to! Learning how to take the time to clear your mind so you can and will think and DO proactively versus reactively. Which… I did! Last Wednesday, June 1st, I started a 30-day Challenge for myself… and for anyone out there that wanted to join in! It's FREE! CLICK HERE to JOIN in! You still can still START! You can do it for ANY 30-days. Doing a challenge, is a great way to FOCUS, refocus and really dig into making progress on a goal. In today's podcast, I share what MY goal is, and YES, I announced it in January when I shared my goals. I also announced it for the Q2 goals, and now... well, I need to STOP TALKING and START DOING! NO MORE EXCUSES... right? What about you? What's one thing you "said" you wanted to accomplish this year or this quarter, but haven't yet? Think about yourself – who you want to become – be known as? What big ass goal do you have that it's just been like… ugh. We all "say" we're going to do things, but how? And again, do we really think we can? That's what I wrote about in my first book, "From There to Here!" (Available on Amazon!) In today's podcast, I share what the book is about... ME telling how I had "said" I was going to do a lot of things, but hadn't and had NO plan! So even as we all face the half-way point in this continued crazy-assed year, I'll ask you "WHAT IS YOUR PLAN?" What will you do in the next 30-days – or by the end of June – to help YOU? And, if you can't figure it out, aren't sure HOW... email me/contact me NOW to schedule a FULL session! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #321: Do It Anyway! | 23 May 2022 | 00:07:40 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others!Last Monday's podcast was about avoiding BURNOUT! Making sure you are taking care of yourself, taking time off to give yourself a mental break and all-in-all, just not working yourself into a state of being sick and tired! In the end, all it does is cause you more stress as you lay there exhausted, and think of all the shit you "need" to get done! It's so much easier to pace yourself as you go! Listen in today as I talk about how last week I was off schedule with my workouts and by Friday I could tell! I was antsy and just out of sorts. It was crappy outside and I didn't want to go do my run. I didn't want to, but I DID! And because of that, my day was SO MUCH BETTER! We've all been there! We've all had to do things we didn't want to do. Yes, my first choice of the day was a personal one, but as you've heard me talk about, our personal shit affects our professional lives! When you're not taking a break and giving yourself the time to "check out", you don't give your mind the opportunity to process things. When you give yourself time away, you get clarity! You're more rested, relaxed, and able to handle the shit show that life and business can be sometimes! I'll say it again, if you're burned out or just mentally exhausted, you're more than likely not going to be able to handle important decisions, be productive, and do things you really don't want to do, but need to! What are you NOT doing? Cheers! Sandi

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and my newly renamed facebook page BadassBusiness Coach! Last Monday's podcast was about about taking a look at your business – your career AND yourself – from the OUTSIDE-IN! Making sure that you're seeing what your clients see and experience. Identifying what needs to be upgraded or purged. What did you see when you looked at things from the outside-in? It can be stressful to "see" and accept that shit isn't what you thought it was. It can be frustrating and eye-opening and overwhelming realizing you have "MORE" work to do! In podcast #285 I talked about how working all the time, with the mindset of "it all has to get done" or "I'm doing whatever it takes to make it" and never giving yourself a break ends up in burnout. Listen in today as I share about the three people last week that were at that stage! Yes, BURNOUT! I've talked about that so many times! If you're not operating at 100%, the percentage that you ARE operating at, is how you're showing up for clients, patients, staff, vendors, family, and friends… and yes YOU! You're cheating yourself out of your best YOU! Self-care and that infamous work-life balance is key to NOT burning out. But usually by the time you recognize it, you're IN it! So, what can you do to AVOID burnout? Listen in to hear! And then share what YOU will do or have done to help you get out of, or avoid burning out! Cheers! Sandi

HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't forget to follow me on Insta and Growing Forward Facebook. And, if you're a new listener, message me who and where are you? Last Monday's podcast was about realizing we ALL suck at something… at least at the beginning! And, well, maybe forever. But whatever it is, may be something we "have" to do as part of our job, business, life. The question is, "Why do YOU think you suck at it?" And why worry about it? We work through it, improve if we can and carry on! We aren't all meant to be great at everything! Just the fact that you tried, perhaps tried something new, or did something that you previously felt you sucked at is BADASS! It proves you're not afraid to take that step! As you've heard me talk about MANY times, we get in our own way! Our minds… our mindset is what can keep us hiding vs. shining! The last few years at this time, I've noticed a pattern, as I've had a mental health expert talk about mindset and purging those negative thoughts, and even "Getting out of your mind and into your life!" May is such a powerful month to make shit happen! No matter if it's in your personal or professional life, looking at what really needs your attention is so important to your success. Listen in today as I share how I took time last week to look at my business from the outside-in. And made some changes both personally and professionally! Things change and progress with time and you have to overcome and adapt. What about you? Personally, or professionally – or both – what needs purged or upgraded? Take a look at your processes, procedures, software, equipment… and yes MINDSET! What about your schedule, meals that you cook? Health & Wellness? We are mid-way through the 2nd quarter, so my suggestion would be to really take a look from the outside-IN! Act like you are a client, patient, customer, or listener of your own business and see where you need to purge or upgrade! This week my challenge to you is to block off some time to take a deep dive into what's REALLY going on, and, like I said… ...Take a look from the outside-in. And, if you need help purging, cleaning up, and prepping for what's next, click here to schedule a session!! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #318: We all SUCK at Something! | 02 May 2022 | 00:10:38 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about understanding how to STEP OUT from behind the cloud and SHINE brightly to SUCCEED! And, as I mentioned, only YOU can decide. Understanding that taking that first step, especially if you're introverted, shy, "not-good-at", or whatever other reason, aka bullshit excuse you have, can be scary as hell. But you, and ONLY you can determine how badly you want to achieve that goal – your SUCCESS! I help clients work through the fear and uncertainty all the time! In today's podcast, I talk about a client session I had on Friday when I heard my client say, "I'm not good at presentations. I get nervous and just hate them!" We talked about the format and timing, what things she's tried, and then I gave her some tips and tricks that I use! And, I also shared with her that I even get nervous, which made her felt so much better! I've talked about mindset a lot, and our minds can get us in so much trouble! Our minds keep us hiding vs. shining and from achieving our success. Especially when you focus on what you think you "can't" do or "hate" to do or even "aren't good at"! Not everyone is comfortable or good at doing everything! And that's why we need coaches, trainers and teachers and people who are just amazingly BADASS at what they do! What about you? What's something you don't like to do, even say, "I suck at doing that"? How do you work through it? Or do you help others learn, grow and improve? Share how! Or, are you one of the many people who are talented and have an amazing skill set, yet you aren't sure how to let people know or aren't 100% confident about stepping into that role? Listen in today as I share about when I was just starting classes for my coaching certification and how my first assignment was to tell the world I AM a coach! I jumped right in and got THREE clients, whereas other classmates were hesitant and hid! If you need help getting rid of the negative mindset about what you think you're good at, but aren't sure how to share it with the world, email me now or schedule a session!! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #317: Don't Hold Your Breath! | 25 Apr 2022 | 00:09:43 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Last Monday's podcast was about DISCIPLINE! And how discipline is what will help you see progress and will help you create the HABITS that will help you achieve your success! What can and WILL you do to get, and more importantly, stay disciplined? Where in your life do you feel disciplined or Undisciplined? Thank you to everyone who commented and emailed me to share where they feel the most discipline! What about you? Where are you doing great and where do you need help? It's ok to ask for help. It's ok if you aren't 100% – aka "perfect" – in one area of discipline. Being disciplined helps you recognize when something is off, didn't happen or are behind. As we look at the last week of April, what have you accomplished? What are your routines? The weather helped me write today's podcast! With the sun popping in out of the clouds, reminded me of the last couple weeks of coaching sessions. I have clients that shine brightly and others that hide in their comfort zone. And others that do both! They may step out and do something amazing, and then freak out and hide… yes sometimes even from me! In today's podcast, I share about a client who has been doing just that... since DECEMBER! Excited and then hides. Pops out and then gives me bullshit excuses. Like today's image quote says: "When you want to succeed as much as you want to breath, you'll be successful!" Are you going to shine brightly, or will you continue to hide? Only YOU can decide. If you're struggling FIND help! If you're succeeding, help someone else! As you listen in today and then look at your own habits, discipline, routines, successes, and failures… where are you and what can YOU do? What MORE can you do? What can you do to help others? If you need help getting rid of the shit in your life that's holding you back, or creating MORE in your world, email me now or schedule a session!! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #316: How Disciplined Are You? | 18 Apr 2022 | 00:06:25 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and my Growing Forward Facebook – if new, message me who/where are you? Last Monday's podcast was about prioritizing! Including YOURSELF and your health and wellness! Yes… ME-TIME. Self-care. To be successful and stay focused, you need to prioritize your TO-DO list. Not just pick and choose what you "want" to do! Everything needs to get done, but to put yourself into a situation where you're behind on things that have a shorter deadline or you need help with isn't going to help you, is it? It's actually going to cause you stress and anxiety like it did my client! And yes, there's shit we don't want to do, but there are consequences for NOT doing! And it all starts with DISCIPLINE! And discipline is how you start holding yourself ACCOUNTABLE! How disciplined are you? Being DISCIPLINED is what will help you see progress and will help you create those pesky HABITS! You know, those little things that will ALSO help you achieve your success!?! As the image for today's podcast says, "Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment!" Today and this week's social media posts will be about DISCIPLINE and helping you identify where you ARE and are NOT disciplined! And what can help you… like keeping your goals top of mind – even in front of you. Envisioning the achievement and more! So tell me, share in the comments or email me at sandi@sandiballard.com where you are in regards to your discipline. If you need help creating more discipline in your world, email me now or schedule a session!! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #315: How Do You Get It ALL Done? | 11 Apr 2022 | 00:10:54 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and GF Facebook – if new, message me who/where are you? Last Monday's podcast was about setting up your 30-day and 2nd quarter goals and then figuring out what you need that can help you. Did you set yours up? Did you figure out what can help you achieve them? As I mentioned, I LOVE when clients are aggressive, but my job is to make sure they don't bite off more than they can chew! My April goal is to make BIG progress on my 4th book and the help I need to achieve that goal is by doing work-sprints! Yes, I've already had one and have more scheduled. Today I share my 2nd Quarter personal and professional goals and what is already helping me! Again… what about YOU? In regard to the aggressive part, I want to once again, warn you about it! There's a fine line between PUSHING and overdoing it! Much like working out, eh?! What I don't want you to do is get overwhelmed, burned out and quit! If you don't quit on me, I won't quit on you! Deal? But we gotta get started! Spring has sprung and there's no time to waste! And, there's ways to KICKASS, be aggressive and NOT get overwhelmed. Yes, you've heard me preach about this many times, but maybe you're not doing it or doing it well. PRIORITIZING! Listen in today as I talk about a client who's been picking and choosing from her list what she WANTS to do, and not necessarily what's due first or more important. As you can imagine, her "homework assignment" from me is TO PRIORITIZE on her list, and that is YOURS as well! Prioritizing is such a HUGE thing and such a challenge for some. But it truly can help you get MORE shit done! Today I share what works for me. But try some things out and see what works for you… but you MUST PRIORITIZE! Share how it goes and what's worked for you! And, if you need help talking through it, click here to schedule a free 30-minute call! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #314: What Do YOU Need? | 04 Apr 2022 | 00:10:46 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Growing Forward Facebook page! Last Monday's podcast was about finishing the first quarter strong – doing a review and setting your goals for this month and quarter! What did you come up with? Are you on-track? Did you achieve your short-term first quarter goals? Have you made any progress at all toward your overall yearly goals? Listen in as I share what MINE are, and what got me off-track from achieving this goal before now! So now, what about you? What's your Q2 goals? Spring is a time of change. I've talked a lot in the past "Springs" about spring-cleaning your goals. It's also a good time to spring clean everything! For some that means your mindset, your environment – maybe even staff! And don't forget to look at your marketing, the services or even products you offer and yes, your habits. When you're reviewing your GOALS and progress and you identify what's distracting you and WHY, then you can more easily understand what's going on… and WHY! Do you need to change your routine? Create a healthier habit? Do you just need some time off or a full vacation? What do YOU need? What will help you achieve your 30-day, short-term goal as well as your 2nd quarter goals? In today's podcast, I talk about a new client I met with and what he needs to help him, and how I will help him. I LOVE it when clients have aggressive goals, but I also want them to be realistic. I've had a few over the years, where I've said -and I've talked about it on this podcast – don't try so much all at once! They all said the same thing, "Oh I can handle it! I'm either all in, or not!" And within weeks, they quit everything… even me. Mainly because they didn't want to admit failure or that I was right! Listen in and then share what you want to achieve! If you don't know… then email or DM me ASAP! If you're feeling overwhelmed or confused about next steps… contact me! Cheers! Sandi

| Podcast #313: Q1 is Ending: Do You Know Where Your GOALS Are? | 28 Mar 2022 | 00:05:26 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! And we are one week into year seven of my podcasts. 313 weeks! Crazy how time flies! Last Monday's podcast was about checking in and seeing if something you've been doing for a long time needs an upgrade, change, update, or keep on keeping on as-is. Did you identify something that needs to be fixed or updated? If so, what and how? Listen in today as I talk about not just how it's time to do your First Quarter Review, but HOW to do your review! When you're doing the review, as I do with all of my clients, look at the short-term goals, and then see if it or they've been achieved. If yes, then GREAT, what's the next short-term 30-60 & 90-day goals? If the goals have not been achieved, let's look at what progress, if any has been made. What's happened? What's distracted you? What challenges have you come across? Is your environment set up for success? Don't forget, when you're doing this review, it's for both your personal and professional goals. In today's podcast, I also share MY personal and professional goals and where I stand with them. Some I've made progress on, others I achieved, but had gotten knocked off-track and didn't do as well as I had wanted. And, I also admit the ones that I haven't achieved. Yes, I call myself out! And then I share how they're all helping my overall goals. So, where are you with YOUR goals? How much progress have you made? What's HELPED and what's gotten in the way? And, what will you do this week to end Q1 strong and START Q2 even STRONGER? I'm challenging you all to take some time this week to review your goals, progress, and overall mindset. If you'd like, I have a worksheet that you can use to help you complete your review. You can either download it from my website badassbusiness.coach and head to the podcasts & worksheets page or email me sandi@sandiballard.com and I'll send it to you. If you complete it and send it back to me, you'll get a 30-min call to discuss… FREE! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #312: Six Years.... What's Next? | 21 Mar 2022 | 00:07:34 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! And today starts YEAR SEVEN! YES! I can't even believe it! Seven years of this weekly podcast. THANK YOU for motivating me to keep going! I'd love to hear – as always – where you're listening from but how long! Last Monday's podcast was about checking your progress and see what shit you are ALLOWING to knock you off-track and learning how to ACCEPT the compliments, the help you need, the baby steps and all the things that will get you to where you want to go. What did you determine? How are you digging deeper to end the first quarter as strong as possible? As I travel back to California from another successful trip to Indiana, I reflect on the meetings, the discussions, the progress checks and the plans to achieve more! I made a few adjustments of my own as well. With ending year six and looking at the next seven years, I have to determine what I want to happen with the podcast as well as my business and life. Listen in today and then decide what you will do for you next. It could be amazing!!! As business owners, we all have so many decisions to make, strategies to think about, questions to ask, and things to learn. That's why like in last Monday's podcast, when I shared about my attempt at writing the podcast and what I was allowing to distract me, I was sharing my experience, hopefully giving you an idea of what happens to many of us as we attempt to focus. Realizing it happens, but to not dwell on it. Catch yourself and get back to it. We have two more weeks in this first quarter. Lots of time to get things goingI'm celebrating six years of having people from all over the world listening to me weekly! From a few hundred downloads to THOUSANDS! From just Indiana to all over the United States and now in 89 countries! And, as I mentioned, it's time to decide if and what I need to do with the podcast. What are YOU celebrating right now? Personally and/or professionally, what's something that is starting another "trip around the sun"? What will you to continue to keep it fresh and make people continue to want it? OR do you keep it the same? Such a dilemma. If it ain't broke, don't fix it? Or… do we keep improving it to keep it fresh? Technology is always improving. Doesn't everything need improving? What are your thoughts? When's the last time you gave your world an upgrade? Cheers! Sandi

| Podcast #311: Only If You Allow It! | 14 Mar 2022 | 00:07:03 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about checking your progress and accepting even the tiniest of progress. Instead of being discouraged, use that energy to dig deeper so you can play BIGGER! Learning how to shut down the negative shit storm in your head isn't always easy, is it? Nope, but it's necessary if you want to make progress and achieve those goals! When you have unnecessary chatter in your head, it makes it hard to think straight and focus. And we all know if you aren't focused, you certainly aren't productive, are you? Any sort of mental anxiety can steal your focus and knock you off-track. Listen in as I share what was going on in my head, and around me, and in my head while I was writing this. What was I allowing? Sometimes we need a mental break to help us regroup. But that's usually in the form of reading a book, a vacation, walk, workout – for me a run – or perhaps you prefer to just chill and listen to music or podcasts. Sometimes we need to think through things and make decisions. But, if you're already mentally distracted, will you make the best decision? Will you be able to think logically and proactively, or will you be reacting? So, as we look at what, how and why… what can you do to eliminate distractions? What are you ALLOWING to knock you off-track and what you are ACCEPTING that will help you? As I travel back to Indiana this week for the "Week of BADASSERY", it will be a full week of helping clients really make sure they are making progress, even if it's tiny steps, and remember to let go of the bullshit. And if they haven't made progress, identify the shit they are allowing, and accept that no matter where they are, they have 8 ½ more months left in the year to KICK-ASS and make amazing things happen! What about you? What are you allowing and what are you accepting? Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #310: Are YOU Crazy Enough? | 06 Mar 2022 | 00:10:34 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about Mindset. Mindset. MINDSET! Having a positive mindset means keeping your head on straight when shit goes sideways, or you get behind like I have recently. How about YOU? Do you keep a positive mindset when you get off-track? Do you shut down that negative chatter in your head when you make a mistake? Do you keep yourself from spiraling and getting overwhelmed when shit goes sideways? Well, if you don't, you should probably contact me! 2022 has been another weird year. Some people and clients I know have had a GREAT start to the year, while others have not. And as we start reaching for Spring, it's also the last month of the first quarter of the year. As many people do, and I always suggest, start really digging into your goals and watching your progress, no matter how small it may seem… to YOU. Listen in this week as I talk about the "ONLY" syndrome! Yes, we've all said it, "I ONLY did, lost or got [fill in the blank]!" Learning to accept those baby steps – with pride – can be hard, but I promise you it will be rewarding! And that's in LIFE and with BUSINESSES as well! Keep chugging away. Keep chipping away at the to-do list, the idea list, the debt, the seemingly endless hours. Keep the faith when it's hard too. Keep climbing! Keep asking. KEEP ON KEEPING ON! BUT HOW? I've had my shares of worry, stress, meltdowns as well. When it happens to you, shift your mindset. Think about a time when you made that shift from the negative "WHY am I doing this, why keep going, how the hell is this going to work?" to the "I got this", and "this is WHY I am doing this!" "This is why I get up every day and try again!" We're human! It's hard to be positive every damn day. It's hard to take compliments and comments that are meant to pull you out of that rabbit hole of a shitty mindset. It's hard NOT to wonder when you'll turn that corner or reach the top of "your" Mount Everest! And, it doesn't matter if you're male or female! Listen in as I discuss more about how to KEEP FIGHTING when you're tired, stressed and overwhelmed. And then remember... "The people who think they are crazy enough to change the world, are the ones who do." ~Steve Jobs That is where the confidence has to win. Yes, there will be shit days. Days you want to throw in the towel, and wondering WHY vs. the WHY that Simon Sinek suggests you start with. When I make that shift, and that feeling and confidence comes over me, I know that I am crazy enough to change the world (no matter how tiny of a piece I think it is)…. Are you? Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #309: Who's In Control? | 28 Feb 2022 | 00:10:09 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about TIME MANAGEMENT! Prioritizing, creating better habits, organizing… you know, all the things that help you FIND more time in the day! Did you find more time? Did you prioritize your to-do list? Ok, well did you get the "oh shit list" out of your head and onto paper so you CAN prioritize and keep better track of what you need to do and in what order? Listen in today, as I share what I spoke with a client about last Friday in regard to figuring out how-to prioritize all she has to do. Trust me, there are days that I don't get through my "important list". Yes, it stresses me out too! And I share why this podcast is late today! Sometimes shit just happens! It's how you recover versus getting overwhelmed by it. Our minds are truly an amazing animal! Over the years, I've talked about mindset and how it can screw up the best of days… if you let it! Mindset. Mindset. MINDSET! I work with clients a lot on this. It's more than just being positive and reading affirmations. I'm talking about managing your head trash, reducing that deflating negative self-talk and learning how to catch yourself when it starts so you can stop it! So, if you're a long-time listener, you know by how late this is being released that my Monday is NOT starting like I wanted it to, so there goes my week, right?! NOPE! But... will I "ALLOW" the negative talk to ruin my day"? HELL NO! Listen in today and think about how you handle things when you get off-track? How do you shut down that negative chatter in your head? How do you keep yourself from spiraling and getting overwhelmed? Now, HAVE A HAPPY MONDAY and realize you CAN get back on-track... like I did! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #308: How Are you Getting It All DONE? | 21 Feb 2022 | 00:17:06 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Last Monday's podcast was about LOVE! No, not the four-letter word about romance and sex. But about what you do for a living and making sure you LOVE what you do. Or figuring out what parts of what you do, that you do you love. We don't all love every aspect of our job or business tasks, but it's definitely something to look into. Especially when you're constantly saying, "I don't have enough time in the day" or "I'm not getting to do what I LOVE" (because of all the shit I have to do!) Learning to delegate, identify what is and is NOT a good use of your time, telling people NO (boundaries) and understanding WHY you feel like you "have to" do something… sometimes EVERYthing! Figuring all of this out helps you FIND MORE TIME! Listen in today as that's what I talk about today! Time Management is such a mystery to many. In my men's BIZ XL group last week, they all seem to be struggling with "finding more time to get it all done". One attendee asked, "Is this a guy-issue?" I laughed and said OH NO, it's a "people issue"! And honestly it doesn't matter if you own your own business or have a job, at some point we've all struggled with "finding more hours in the day". I've heard many people say, "Oh I get it all done by MULTI-TASKING! Uh, no you're not! If you're multi-tasking, you're half-assing SOMETHING! You can't do it ALL... WELL. Time management: The mystery. The "Pot of Gold" at the end of the rainbow! We all desire it [more hours in the day that is], but we never seem to be able to FIND it! Listen in as I share some thoughts about an article in Forbes®: The 4 D's of Time Management. Do, Defer, Delegate and Delete. Which is great as tasks come AT you! [I'll share the article in one of my posts this week, so hopefully you're following me!!] Think about - VISUALIZE – what it would feel like to have a day where you felt productive. You got a ton of things done. You "clocked out for the day" feeling GREAT! [I take you through a visualization exercise in the podcast!] How can YOU CREATE that day? Yes, shit's going to go sideways. Life happens. Clients and bosses demand. Co-workers get chatty. Traffic. Weather. Bullshit. But you don't have to allow that to be your day, EVERY day. To have the most productive days, you need to make sure you: 1. Organize 2. PRIORITIZE 3. Visualize... the best outcome Listen in and then please share your tip on how you save time or find more hours in the day! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #302: Time To Stand & Stretch! | 10 Jan 2022 | 00:09:45 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others. The crazy continues, doesn't it? I'm flying back to Cali after coming to Indy for an unfortunate reason. One of my tribe – many of you on this list may know her, Tifney Fields – lost her husband on Christmas Day. Not to start out the podcast as a downer, but it's just reality, isn't it? It's life and shit we have to deal with that you don't ever want to have to. And so this week I'm really going to get into your asses about making time for things. Taking the time for YOU, for family as well as your business and career. Last Monday's podcast was about choosing your Word of the Year. Did you do that yet?? Don't forget you can download the form from my website and go to the podcasts page! And, for most of us, as we look at the second week of January, we're really starting to settle in and get comfy and start really looking at our goals. And, as I mentioned in the opening, and last Thursday's image, "A year from now, you'll wish you had started TODAY!" TAKE A CHANCE! MAKE SHIT HAPPEN! 2022 is here… No matter if you're ready or not, it's time. But that pesky "VID", we know it's caused some realizations, things we needed to face but were avoiding. We know it's forced us to get uncomfortable. And, we know it's forced us all to pivot, make changes, adjust, accept loss and also created more efficiency. We know it's there. And the more you prepare, the easier it will be to get back on-track WHEN – not if – WHEN shit goes sideways! Yeah, if you're a long-time listener, you've heard me say that many times! So, what will you do today that your future self will thank you for? What are you willing to do FOR YOU? For your family, friends, staff, colleagues? And how does your Word of the Year play into that action? My friend and her husband didn't sit around and wait, they took adventures, made memories and created experiences. If you've listened to me for a while or you know me, I will say I'm a Business Coach, but LIFE is what gets in the way of your business. So, my clients and I discuss LIFE every time we talk, including their WORDS and how they are aligning and helping them. Listen in to hear what a couple of my clients' words are, and how they have, and will help them. LEVERAGE! So, this week – as always, LISTEN IN and then do the activity and share here! Watch social media the rest of the week for more questions, challenges and yes, I told you I was going to PUSH! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #301: Live By It! | 03 Jan 2022 | 00:07:31 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others and Happy New Year! My apologies for the delay in getting this to you to help you kick-start 2022 and the first Monday of the year, however shit just happens, doesn't it? Last Monday's podcast was about GOALS! Yes, seeing how many are carry-over and why. As I mentioned, I have a few myself, even from 2020. But let's all make sure, regardless of carry-over goals or not, that you start looking at 2022 with fresh eyes and a positive outlook. Last year at this time I talked about GOALS. Resolutions and INTENTIONS! The trifecta for success. In today's podcast, I share with you the steps I use with my clients to create their Word of the Year! I created the worksheet years ago to help me, and shared it immediately with my clients to help them make sure the word really resonates with them, versus just choosing any word. Why is a having a Word of the Year so important? It helps you identify whether you're on-track when you're checking your progress. Last year my word was EMPOWER. So, as I'm checking my goals, I review to see how I am helping others. Yes, it's my "job", but am I truly helping EMPOWER people to get to that next level? To live their best lives? Am I helping people who aren't clients? I had a client whose word was "Communication". We talked about that word a lot throughout the year as we discussed staff communication, how they were learning to talk with not at each other, and how she can help with that as well as how she communicates with others. In a sense, your Word of the Year keeps you honest! In today's podcast, I quickly go through how to set your WORD of the YEAR and how to make sure it's keeping you on-track throughout the year. So this week – as always, do this activity and share here! Cheers! Sandi

I would say over the years I have gone through many adjustments in my podcast, including being more DIRECT, edgier, the occasional cuss words, but the reason I'm still here is because of YOU! Every time I've thought about stopping, someone emails me and says how much something I said resonated with them, helped them in some way, etc. etc. So... despite some pauses here and there, I'M STILL HERE! Listen in and share IF and HOW you are Spring Cleaning those GOALS!! And if you haven't even set them yet, well you better get OFF YOUR ASS and DO THAT! As I meet with my clients at the end of the year, I ask them, "Who's helped you the most this year?" It ALWAYS causes them to pause. I LOVE it. I'm thankful to have made some of my clients' list! As we bring this year to a close, many of us still grinding it out, I will be challenging you to think about and share who and WHAT has helped you this year. HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't panic – but just letting you know there are only four weeks left in the year… and well, there are also STILL four weeks left in the year. I will always say hey "don't let up" but if you planned accordingly, you may be able to take your foot off the gas and enjoy the holidays a bit more... BUT ONLY IF you have your shit together! Last Monday's podcast was about making sure you're doing a weekly review and set up for the next week every Friday. I don't know about you, but my Friday was NUTS! Listen in today as I share about my new app for my women's TABOO Tribe launch and how I still, no matter how full my week was, I did my end-of-the-week review and prepared for this week that has an even tighter schedule! What about you? What's on your plate this week? Are you prepared? What can help you? Who can help? And don't forget about being thankful and showing your gratitude! We can't make that a habit unless we're practicing it! What are you continuing to be THANKFUL for? And how are you showing it? Habits don't start overnight! Let's get in the rhythm first. Let's take baby steps to create the habit and THEN we can start leveling up. Right? Listen in today, and then share what will you do this month – each week, perhaps each day to finish strong? With the distractions and blessings of the Holiday season, it can be harder. Like I mentioned in my opening statement, if you planned accordingly, you could relax a bit. But if you didn't, how will you continue to push, drive, and achieve those goals? I share all that I accomplished last week, and how it's been fun, and will help me develop a new habit of staying in touch with more people and creating new content. What are you excited about? What are you thankful for? Let's have a great week of reviewing and continuing to build that habit of showing gratitude. Oh and watch for details on my Start the Year Strong special! | Podcast #296: Time to Review and DO! | 29 Nov 2021 | 00:06:34
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to week 296 and the last few days of November. Wednesday starts the last month of 2021. WOW! If you haven't done a year in review, then there's no time like the present! Yes, I'm going to be talking about REVIEWING now until the end of the year, so get used to it! Last Monday's podcast was about being thankful, showing gratitude and not letting up so it becomes a HABIT, not just a "once a year thing" during Thanksgiving. We have five weeks left in the year, how will you continue to be thankful and show your gratitude to others? In today's podcast, I talk about how I noticed during my own review last year at this time that I was off-track. And I recovered by practicing what I preach. Yes... the REVIEW is something I preach as well, but I'm referring to PRIORITIZING! With last week being a week where many people were off work, kids out of school, and traveling, many of us may be a bit off-track a bit. So how will you get back on-track? So listen in to today's podcast for what I ask you to REVIEW and DO until the end of the year! And for my continued showing of gratitude! Let's have a great week of reviewing and continuing to build that habit of showing gratitude. Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #295: How Do You Show Yours? | 22 Nov 2021 | 00:07:50 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to week 295! That's over 5 ½ years of doing this. And here I am, coming at you with a new recording, and something we tend to only focus on once a year at this time… being thankful. Last Monday's podcast was about changing your mindset about things – and I asked what you've changed your mind about, and realized you were wrong! What did you come up with? SHIFTING your mindset from a negative outlook to a more positive one is hard but is so rewarding. And I am VERY thankful I changed mine. Listen in today as with this week being the week of Thanksgiving, I decided to share the Oxford Dictionaries definition and the difference between being grateful and feeling thankful! They are very close! You tend to SHOW gratitude because you have a thankful feeling. And I'm not here today to pick that apart, just to make sure you use those hashtags appropriately. After the never-ending panDamnit, we all need to feel thankful and show some gratitude. I mean, last year sucked one million %. The beginning of this year was better, and I will say that I hope you are finishing this year as strongly as I am! Yet another reason to feel THANKFUL! The theme this year in my podcasts has been about LEVELING-UP: Growing. Recovering. Rejuvenating. And now, we're looking at the last month-ish of the year and really making those necessary, and sometimes painful shifts to make sure you will LEVEL-UP and finish the year STRONG! This week I want to share with you how THANKFUL I feel for all of you: listeners, returning and new clients, and the friends we've made out here in Cali. Listen in today as I show you how THANKFUL I feel, by showing some gratitude, but you have to listen in to get the instructions on how to receive that gratitude! As I end all my books: I'm very thankful and choosing to be grateful… what do you choose? Let's have a great week full being so thankful that it carries on beyond this week! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #294: Time for the Shift To Happen! | 15 Nov 2021 | 00:08:33 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Last Monday's podcast was about making sure you're changing for the right reasons and not because shit got hard or boring or any other reason than it's NECESSARY! Listen in today, as I talk about what I wrote about in chapter six of my book "How Badly Do You Want 'IT'?"... "Change creates opportunity for growth. But don't allow the excitement or challenges to become bright, shiny distractions from your PLAN!" And again, in chapter six of my third book, "The Magic Pill!", titled "It's Evolution Baby", I wrote: "Things change. As humans, we adapt to change by growing and evolving. Change is inevitable. Resistance is futileTM." So, how do we evolve? Listen in today, as I talk about how we look back on the last 10 ½ months and see how have you – we – evolved? How are you becoming the best version of yourself? WHAT has changed and why? Why wouldn't you want to? As I talk about in today's podcast, it's ok as you should love who you are, how you look and feel, but I also know from experience that if you don't evolve, you'll get stuck. If you want help figuring out if, how and why you have or should evolve and make that SHIFT happen, email me at sandi@sandiballard.com Have a great week full of SHIFT happening! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #293: Do It Because you NEED to! | 08 Nov 2021 | 00:09:04 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to Week 293! Don't forget to follow me on social media to continue the challenges, questions, and opportunity for continued growth. Last Monday's podcast was about looking at your patterns. Have you given up too quickly when things got hard? Did the grass look greener, so you jumped? Looking at the pros and cons of things BEFORE you change things up. It's easy to quit and give the reason [aka BS excuse!] that "it wasn't right for me" or "it wasn't working". Sometimes you're right and well, sometimes you're just searching for the easy way, the "Magic Pill"! In recent podcasts, I've talked about how I painstakingly went through a rebrand last year, but the pain part was the research for the perfect "all-in-one" platform everything I do and offer. Then, I've resisted change because it's overwhelming and time consuming... and it's cost a good amount of money to maintain. But, this isn't about ME, it's about what's good for my clients first [then me!] I weighed the pros and cons and listened to the feedback. When I changed my running and workout program, it was because I hadn't seen any results from what I WAS doing. What about YOU? In last week's posts I challenged you to look at your patterns and see how many times you've quit or jumped to something else, because things were hard. Listen in today as I share about someone who LOVES habits when they do them, however, this person doesn't stick with them for long. They say they like CHANGE. [It drives ME batshit crazy!] CHANGE. Change can be good and is necessary sometimes, but... What needs to CHANGE and WHY? Listen in then share with me! Or, if you want help figuring it out, email me at Sandi@SandiBallard.com Let's have a great week full of changing for the right reasons! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #292: How Green is your Grass? | 01 Nov 2021 | 00:08:05 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to week 292! Don't forget to follow me on social media to continue the challenges, questions, and opportunity for continued growth. Last Monday's podcast was about looking deeper into your habits and seeing which ones need adjusted, changed-up, stopped or created to help you finish the year strong. What did you find? Did you change anything? Or start anything new? You'll have to listen in today to hear my update and what I struggled with. Today I also talk about two of my clients I met with last week. One admitted she's not a fan of doing the hard work, and the other is ready to JUMP because shit got hard. He's done that throughout his whole life, but now that he's working with me, I'm trying to help him look at the pros and cons BEFORE he switches gears because something else "sounds easier!" It's not uncommon to quit, to give up quickly when shit gets hard. And when it does, people give up versus leaning into it. You've got to role up your sleeves and DO the hard work. There is NO magic pill! The grass is not greener. And yes, as I discussed last week, sometimes there are things that need to be changed up, discussed, thought through deeper, stopped and - or started to help you. Listen in for this week's challenge! If you want help figuring it out, and talking through the pros and cons to make sure you're on the right track and not jumping IN or OUT too fast, click here to email me! Let's have a great week full of focus, motivation and kicking ass! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #291: What Needs Adjusted? | 25 Oct 2021 | 00:09:01 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to week 291! Don't forget to follow me on social media to continue the challenges, questions, and opportunity for continued growth. Last Monday's podcast was about how to focus more and STOP multi-tasking so you can be more effective, productive, and fully present with whatever you are working on or whomever you are meeting with. With all that I have been preaching about, what more could I possibly get on your ass about or ask you to do? Well, last year on this day – podcast 239 – I talked about the BS excuses and blaming I had been hearing from a client. And, I asked about habits. Which fits right into the end of the year! YES! Habits help you achieve your goals. Listen in today as I talk MORE about HABITS! And more so, doing the review so you can see what needs to be adjusted and where you need to improve so you will LEVEL-UP and finish the year STRONG! As we continue to fly into the 4th quarter, we now need to be even diligent so we can LEVEL-UP and finish the year STRONG! Why do I talk so much about HABITS and reviewing progress? Because by the end of each quarter we sometimes can start to slip, or get lazy with our habits, environment and everything that helps us succeed. Listen in as I talk about why we do that and how habits help us improve and become the best version of ourselves. Let's have a great week kicking ass with strong, healthy habits! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #290: Stop the Spinning! | 18 Oct 2021 | 00:08:33 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Don't forget to follow me on social media to continue the challenges, questions, and opportunity for continued growth. Last Monday's podcast was about how sometimes you need to fully focus on one thing to make sure you finish it strong. Give it your all. And no, multi-tasking is NOT a "Superpower"! Change my mind! At times we have to get it all done… NOW. But trying to do three things at once, does nothing but help you half-ass it all! We're probably all guilty of it, especially after being forced to spend almost two years in the virtual world, the virtual meetings, especially if they aren't attention-grabbing or interactive! One thing at a time. FOCUS. Being fully present can be difficult for people. Listen in today as I share how I helped a client develop strategies for he and his teammates so they could learn to switch gears quickly, without frustration and be fully present for whatever they were facing at the moment. For those of you who are old enough to remember the Calgon® commercials, you know what I'm talking about! And honestly, if you're on my Facebook page, you saw how I woke up and how I was already spinning before my feet hit the ground. And, what helped me FOCUS! I know many of you will push back, as you think you're an amazing multi-tasker, but I'm here to tell you… you're kidding yourself! LOL! If you want help figuring out how to refocus, eliminate distractions and make sure you're on-track so you WILL finish the year STRONG, contact me... click here to email me NOW! Cheers! Let's have a great week full of focus, motivation and kicking ass! Sandi
| Podcast #289: What Needs Yours? | 11 Oct 2021 | 00:07:28 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to week 289! Don't forget to follow me on social media to continue the challenges, questions, and opportunity for continued growth. Last Monday's podcast was about doing a FINANCIAL review and a few tips on things to check on to save money. It's so important to do a review of everything in your life. Personally, professionally, and financially – which involves BOTH personal and professional. If you've listened to me or know me, you've heard me say that LIFE is what gets in the way of your business, so that's why I ask personal questions and have you check on things. If you only focus on one aspect, the other can go to shit, but it may be necessary... Trust me! Listen in as I share how the last couple weeks have been nuts for me, and how I've had to deal with HUGE distractions, but also things that needed my FULL attention. Where your focus goes, your energy flows, right? And yes, there are many times that we need to focus 100% on something, and that's ok! What's been distracting you? What have you had to focus on to finish? Listen in to hear what I'm challenging you to think about and DO this week! Cheers!
| Podcast #425: You Don't Have to Be a Bitch to be a BADASS! | 10 Mar 2025 | 00:13:50 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION! Welcome back to another episode of "No More Excuses"! In this episode, I break down the myth that being a BADASS means being cold, rude, or harsh. True power comes from confidence, setting boundaries, and showing up with strength and respect. I'll walk you through the key differences between being a badass and just being a jerk, plus how to communicate with authority, handle criticism like a pro, and own your success without apology. Bottom line? You don't need to tear others down to rise. You can be kind, bold, and unstoppable—all at the same time. Tune in, level up, and let's redefine what real strength and badassness looks like! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #288: It's 10pm, Do You Know Where Yours Is? | 04 Oct 2021 | 00:14:35 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to Week 287! Don't forget to follow me on social media to continue the challenges, questions, and opportunity for continued growth. Last Monday's podcast was about how it takes money to make money, and also clarifying that what you are doing daily and IS or is NOT a good use of your time. Because time is money and if you're NOT doing things that are a good use of your time, remembering that you're also wasting your money. I also talked ideas to look into to get the help you need that may not require you to use your money! Today, as we kick-off the first week of October, and the 4th quarter, I asked financial advisor, Beth Correll to talk about how important it is to also do a financial check-in, and the things to look at to save money. As you continue to progress toward your goals, doing a financial progress check is important, as many times your goals affect your finances and vice versa. And many of us may have financial goals as well. No matter if you are currently working with a financial advisor or not, you should be doing more than balancing your checkbook! Looking deeper into making sure you and your business are properly protected is something I discuss with ALL of my clients. Are you able to grow, or invest in new technology to help you achieve your goals? So yes, it takes money to make money. Listen in as Beth shares tips, ideas and how a financial advisor can help, even if you don't think you have enough money to use an advisor, you should talk with one! You can contact Beth at Beth.Correll@RaymondJames.com And, if you want help figuring out how to finish the year STRONG, email me at Sandi@SandiBallard.com let's talk! Let's have a finically rewarding week! Cheers! Sandi
| Podcast #287: Does It? | 27 Sep 2021 | 00:08:02 | |
Last Monday's podcast was about DELEGATING! Yes, that very necessary thing, but hard to do! Next week we start the 4th quarter, so the countdown is on, so look at "if", "how," and, "how much" you will LEVEL-UP! If you're doing work that isn't at your pay rate, how is it helping you? Listen in today as I talk more about that damn to-do list and why it's so important to see what's STILL on it, what's NOT getting done and, also what IS getting done, but WHO should be doing it. We've all heard the phrase: "It takes money to make money." And, that is SO TRUE! But I've also read that it does NOT. Well, TIME is MONEY. And if you're using your time to do things that are not a good use of YOUR time, then you're wasting your money! Trust me, I'm guilty of it! And yes, like many things, easier said than done to have all the help you need at the snap of your fingers! I know I would! So, what on your list would take money to get done? What would it take for you to get someone to help? Listen in as I share about two of my clients who have a very good idea of what it will take to get their businesses off the ground and what they're doing about it. They know they can't do it all, nor should they! And yes, there are ways to get the help you need without paying someone. Think about an intern and that infamous concept of TRADE. Today I may go on a bit about when you DO let go of the tasks you don't need to be doing, it opens up the space for you to work ON your business, to focus on growth and strategy and well, making more money! Let's get you out of the weeds and at the 10k foot view. Let's get you running your business vs. it running you. And for now, if you want some help figuring out how to finish the year STRONG? Email me at Sandi@SandiBallard.com. Let's talk! Cheers!
| Happy Podcast #286: How Much Do You Pay Yourself? | 20 Sep 2021 | 00:09:52 | |
HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here, for listening and sharing this podcast with others! Welcome to week 286! Last Monday's podcast was about BURNOUT! It happens quite a bit, and I just saw it last week in my networking group. Remember when I talked about the guy who has been snarky because he had only been sleeping 2-4 hours/night? Well, now he's SICK! That's what happens! There's a fine line between really needing to work your ass off one more hour or multiple sleepless nights to get something completed, and that you're just overdoing it. As I mentioned last Monday – if you're burning the candle at both ends, what will it cost you? My men's group last week discussed this, and I share in today's podcast about what they all have in common, and how it is hard to create healthier boundaries. And, well, why people tend not to! I've had it ALL happen to me! What about you? If you're flying solo, that probably means you're "doing it all" and are at risk of burn-out. I've been there too! It goes back to clear expectations and taking the time NOW to make more time for you LATER. Asking for help. It's hard. It's frustrating. It doesn't always work out. We don't tend to do it well... or at all, including me! And, for the sake of sounding like a broken record... is what you're doing too much? And, at what cost? Are you doing what's a good use of YOUR time? Listen in and then share. I'd love to help you figure out how NOT to do it all, and steer clear of burnout!
