Welcome to Myles Sergé - Minimal House Vinyl Only DJ Mix - VINYL MATTERS 043! In VINYL MATTERS, our Vinyl Only DJ Set Podcast, we present international DJs performing live at our pressing plant, MATTER OF FACT. Immerse yourself in the world of vinyl and experience the magic when music and craftsmanship come together. Myles Sergé belongs to a rare generation of artists who do not see electronic music as a product, but as an ongoing narrative. Deeply rooted in the spirit of Detroit techno while embracing the hypnotic subtlety of minimal house, his sound moves between precision and emotion, raw functionality and understated depth.
Through his labels (MS) Records and Calder City Development Corp., Sergé has built spaces where that balance can fully evolve. No short-lived hype. No overproduced surfaces. Instead, music shaped by patience, character and an almost architectural sense of clarity. Tracks that unfold slowly and create a pull you cannot instantly explain, but deeply feel.
Especially Calder City Development Corp. carries this idea of movement and development within its identity. The name itself feels like an urban vision of concrete, steel and late-night city lights. A concept that perfectly reflects SergĂ©âs sound. Minimal structures collide with warm, deep grooves and that futuristic Detroit melancholy that never needs to be loud to leave a lasting impact.
His productions reveal a deep appreciation for reduction and space, but also a clear respect for the legacy of Black electronic music from the American Midwest. House and techno flow into one another without boundaries. Everything feels focused, hypnotic and organic at the same time. Music made for long nights, dark rooms and those rare moments when time itself seems to disappear.
This vinyl mix takes you directly into that world. Into the universe of Myles Sergé, where minimal house meets Detroit soul and groove becomes more than rhythm. It becomes a state of mind.
Deep rhythm. Subtle pressure. Timeless movement.
