What better time to listen to a Valentine's Day episode of the podcast then *checks notes* two weeks late and in March! But seriously, thank you all of course for the flexibility in this episode, this was the second go-around recording due to tech issues the first time and it came out wonderful! And of course, thank you to Hayley for joining us this episode and you can expect Hayley as a regular feature on the podcast starting in June. It was really challenging picking our three favorites, but these are all excellent films and I'd love to know what people think of the format shift for this episode! There is also an announcement about a new partnership taking places for Oscars season that is happening soon and an announcement about the two movies covered for the Listener's Pick episode that'll be out in March. Two of my favorites and also for a long time, two films only available through 360p copies on Youtube. I also give some extended thoughts on my time at the Virtual Sundance Festival, some of my favorite films, technical issues that plagued my experience, and then jumped into these two really amazing and under seen queer films! There is a balance between these two movies, one is extremely calm and introspective, and the other is intense and much of the conflict is external, and they make a really fantastic pairing that I hope you enjoy hearing me speak about!
