Boundaries Or Ultimatums? Why Yours Aren't Working | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep500
Boundaries don't work when you set them angry, too late, or as a threat to leave. If you're finally fed up, look in the mirror first: you may have been part of the problem by rescuing and enabling for years.
Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down when to use boundaries in marriage, and how to make them consequences, not punishments.
🔑 What we cover: - Why you're not in a position to set a boundary when you're that angry - The $300,000 debt story: rescuing vs enabling - Mercy and grace for the past, a real boundary going forward - Boundaries vs ultimatums: not everything has to be "the end" - Natural vs logical consequences (match the consequence to the behavior) - Real examples: porn, phones, overspending, and our field-trip moment - Why protecting the money from overspending isn't financial abuse
For husbands and wives who are done tolerating the same behavior but don't want to blow up the marriage.

Why Your Changes Aren't Saving Your Marriage? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep499
Most marriages don't fail because of the problem. They fail because the husband or wife changed for the wrong reason, quit when it didn't work fast enough, or never learned how to repair and reset after a fight.
Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down why some couples fail and others save their marriage.
🔑 What we cover: - The question to ask before you pay anyone for help: what's the delivery? - Why email and text can't teach you how to fix a marriage - Changing for her vs changing for you (Cass's anger story) - Why mistakes send you back to old behaviors, and how to keep going - Kathryn's framework: rupture, repair, reset - Why a repair without a reset is just a facade - Find the real issue, not the symptom, and stop taking it personally
For husbands and wives who've tried to change and keep ending up back in the same fight.

Can God Save Your Marriage? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep498
Yes, God can save your marriage. But if you're only praying and waiting, you might be turning down the help He's already sending. Prayer without action slows you down.
Cass and Kathryn Morrow share Cass's journey from atheist to believer, and why faith and work have to go together.
🔑 What we cover: - Cass's testimony: raised atheist, angry at God, then finding faith in 2024 - "God was always in the gaps," even when he couldn't hear Him - The man on the island who turned down three boats - Why God often answers through people, coaching, and programs - Everyone's purpose is different, and you don't know God's timeline - Stop praying for your partner to change. Pray "change me first." - How obedience, not just prayer, changed the Morrows' marriage
For Christian husbands and wives who are praying for their marriage and wondering why nothing is changing.

Why Your Wife Can't Carry You Anymore? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep497
The real issue in your marriage isn't the sex, the porn, the drinking, or the fighting. Those are symptoms. The real issue is a man who doesn't know his own worth, and a wife who was never built to carry him.
Cass and Kathryn Morrow answer the question their community keeps asking: is the real issue men or women?
🔑 What we cover: - Why porn, alcohol, affairs, and no sex are symptoms, not the problem - How guilt and shame make a man with no self-worth hide and cope - The covert contract: "If you'd just love me, then I could love you" - Love, withdraw, blame: why your partner can't love three different people - Kathryn: the contract is invisible, but the damage is loud - Why "doing the work" to get her back is still a contract - What Adam and Eve teach about leadership and blame in marriage
For husbands who keep asking why she can't just love them, and wives who are tired of carrying it all.

Getting A Divorce Lawyer To Protect Yourself? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep496
If your wife says your changes aren't real and you respond by calling a divorce lawyer "to protect yourself," you just proved her right. You can't tell her you want the marriage while your actions say you're already out.
Cass and Kathryn Morrow answer the question they get every week: when should you get a divorce lawyer? And what should you do instead?
🔑 What we cover: - What "too little, too late" and "your changes aren't real" actually mean: I don't trust you - Why "protecting yourself" with a lawyer kills the marriage you say you want - When your words and your actions don't line up, which one is the truth? - Kathryn's pushback: the responsibility the hurt spouse can still take - Boundaries you don't follow through on, and why it backfires - Stop personalizing his porn habit: lift him instead of shaming him - Lead toward the new marriage, or follow your partner to divorce
For husbands who just got served, and for wives who are done but still want it to work.

When To Talk To Your Kids About Sex, Money & Marriage | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep495
What And When To Talk To Your Children About These Things!
If you're not talking to your kids about sex, money, and what's happening in your marriage, someone else already is. The average child is exposed to porn by age eight, and your kids feel the distance between you and your spouse long before you say a word.
Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down what to tell your children, when to tell them, and how to be honest without dumping adult problems on them.
🔑 What we cover: - Why "protecting their innocence" by staying silent actually leaves them exposed - How kids pick up on a roommate marriage, resentment, and disconnection - Age-appropriate ways to start: language, timing, and using children's books - Talking about money with no secrecy while still teaching the value of a dollar - How to tell your kids the truth about fighting or an affair by taking responsibility - Why dads push and moms nurture, and when to mind your business as a co-parent
For parents who freeze when their kids ask the hard questions and want to be the one their kids come to.

How To Answer Your Kids' Questions About Your Marriage | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep494
Your child just asked, "Why is daddy always on his phone?" or "Why did mommy leave?" and you froze. The answer isn't to fix their feelings or protect them from the truth. It's to validate what they feel, take responsibility for your part, and show them what connection looks like. Cass and Kathryn explain how to talk to your kids about your marriage without making them pick a side.
When marital tension spills over, kids notice everything—and parents often turn to Google or ChatGPT for scripts they don't know how to live out. In Episode 494 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down why AI can't teach you honesty, how to validate without fixing, and how your children's questions mirror the exact work you need to do in your own relationship.
🔑 What we cover: - Why parents are searching Google and AI for scripts to explain marriage problems - Why AI can't teach you to tell the truth and stay connected - Validate, don't fix: How to answer a child who feels lonely or scared - How your kids' questions teach you how to act in your marriage - Why thanking your husband for working builds connection (and why some push back) - The danger of kids choosing sides, and how to avoid triangulation - Kathryn's real story: "Why did you call daddy a jerk?" - Cass's new library of children's books for parents, now in the app

YOU'RE PROCESSING WRONG: Why Your Anger Isn't The Real Feeling | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep493
You think you're processing your feelings. You're actually talking yourself into leaving. Cass and Kathryn break down why anger is never the real emotion, the "crazy train," and how Kathryn learned to help Cass process instead of shutting down.
Most people use their mouth as an unedited processing channel, spewing secondary emotions like anger, resentment, and blame onto their partner. In this episode of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow unpack the difference between destructive emotional venting and true internal processing. Learn how to spot dysregulation early, question your thoughts instead of treating your pain as fact, and get off the "crazy train" before it wrecks your relationship.
🔑 What we cover: - Why you don't stop processing—you stop doing it wrong - Anger as a secondary emotion: Uncovering the iceberg underneath - The "Crazy Train": How to spot emotional dysregulation without boarding it - Kathryn's framework: Reflecting words back and asking clarifying questions - Why your mouth is not the appropriate channel for raw processing - Questioning your pain vs. talking yourself into an affair, shutdown, or divorce

BLINDSIDED: The Divorce You Swear Came Out Of Nowhere | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep492
BLINDSIDED: The Divorce You Swear Came Out Of Nowhere!
You swear the divorce came out of nowhere. Cass and Kathryn explain why it almost never does, including the night Kathryn told Cass she wasn't in love with him anymore.
When a spouse asks for a divorce, it often feels like a sudden shock. But in reality, the person leaving has usually been mentally and emotionally checking out for two to five years while keeping quiet. In this episode, Cass and Kathryn Morrow unpack why stopping a bad habit isn't enough, why negative plus neutral is still negative, and how managing symptoms instead of fixing self-worth leads straight to an emotional divorce.
🔑 What we cover: - The night Kathryn told Cass she was settling and only staying because of her oath - Why "I haven't yelled in a week" isn't real change - The mathematical reality of healing: Negative + Neutral = Still Negative - Why affairs and porn are symptoms, not the root issue - Cass’s perspective on why affairs are often among the easiest marriages to save once a man shows up - The ultimate rule: Blame later. Fix yourself first.

WEAPONIZED INCOMPETENCE: You Corrected Him Until He Quit | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep491
WEAPONIZED INCOMPETENCE: "Just Tell Me What To Do" Is Not Help!
Weaponized incompetence is the phrase millions of wives use about husbands. Cass and Kathryn go through what actually happens when he tries, gets corrected, and quits, and what each spouse enabled along the way.
When a husband stops helping around the house, is it weaponized incompetence or did constant criticism train him to step back? In this episode, Kathryn and Cass Morrow break down the dynamic of loading the dishwasher "wrong," carrying the mental load, and why asking for a true partner fails if it was never set up as a partnership.
🔑 What we cover: - Weaponized incompetence vs. just loading the dishwasher differently - The moment he stops helping after having his work redone - Expecting a partner after years of doing it all (or hiring it out) - How enablements cascade into yelling, affairs, and boundary breaks - Kathryn’s rule: Accept the different way or do it yourself without complaining
I hurt Kathryn badly. What she's known for is that she stopped being a victim anyway. That's the whole invitation here.

AI #3: The AI Girlfriend On The Credit Card Statement | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep490
They were already divorcing. Then she found the charges on the credit card statement: sixteen months of a paid relationship with an AI girlfriend.
Here's the question everybody asks first. Does that count as cheating?
Yes. And the reason matters more than the answer. The same disconnection was already in that marriage before any of it started. Physical or emotional, a person or a screen, betrayal is betrayal. People only draw the line in different places so they can justify where they put their own.
But that's not the part I care about most. The part I care about is what you do with the discovery.
🔑 What we cover: - Why this isn't a weird one-off story, it's the newest version of an old problem - Dating apps, video games, the coffee line, the office, and now this - Why a machine that only validates you makes an already-hurting person worse - Why "the rug got pulled out" is the most common sentence in these stories - Emotional, physical, porn, a bot: why we keep pretending these are different - The real trap: using what you found to build your case instead of your self - What you'll carry into your next relationship if you stop here - The uncomfortable one: the person who did this to you was hurt first
I hurt Kathryn badly. What she's known for is that she stopped being a victim anyway. That's the whole invitation here.

AI #2: She Fired 4 Counselors, Now ChatGPT Is Her Therapist | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep489
She fired four counselors. Now ChatGPT is her therapist.
Not every therapist is good, so fire the bad ones. But four times, and every time right at the moment the accountability turned toward her? That's not discernment. That's shopping for an answer until something finally gives you the one you wanted.
And AI will always give it to you, because you're the one supplying the facts.
Here's the part I can prove. When I push back on ChatGPT or Gemini, it reverses. Six to twelve minutes and it's arguing the opposite of where it started. Then I ask it why it told me the first thing, and it won't answer. It tells me I sound frustrated.
🔑 What we cover: - Why firing four counselors in a row is the pattern, not the solution - How you control the story when you're the one typing the facts - What a real conversation about betrayal looks like, and what AI does instead - The lonely wife example, and the question AI will never ask her - The live demo: 17 minutes to talk it into the opposite answer - Why "just tell AI to be the Gottmans" doesn't work either - I have an AI trained on me, roughly 98% accurate. It's still wrong sometimes. - The pattern coming next: "I tried AI and things got worse"
Part 2 of 3 on AI and your marriage. Part 1: He's Ranting To ChatGPT About You.

AI #1: My Husband Asked ChatGPT What It's Like To Marry Someone New | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep488
A woman read her husband's ChatGPT history. First she found every complaint he had about her. Then she kept reading and found him asking what it would look like to marry someone new.
There are two problems in that story, and I'm going after both of them.
If you're the one pouring your marriage into AI, you're already escaping. I've demonstrated this publicly on ChatGPT and on Gemini: I walk it through deeper questions I already know the answers to, and within about ten minutes it's repeating my own teaching back to me. It isn't giving you knowledge. It's agreeing with whatever you fed it. And if you don't already know the answers, you can't tell the difference.
And if you're the one reading his chat, that's his journal. Guilting a man who already feels worthless has never once produced the thing you actually want.
🔑 What we cover: - The viral Reddit post that started this, and the question that broke her heart - Why AI can't be your therapist, and how I prove it every time I try - What happens when a man collects validation for six months with no accountability - Why reading his chat log is the same move as scrolling his phone - How the post itself decayed from real reflection into "poor me" - The Land Rover wiring diagram that AI couldn't read, and what that tells you about your marriage - Where AI actually gets its relationship advice, and why Reddit citations should worry you

Can God Save My Marriage? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep487
I was raised atheist. I know now beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is real, and I still have trouble hearing from him, and it still frustrates me.
So this episode is for four people: the man who doesn't know God, the one who walked away, the one trying to find faith in recovery, and the Christian who's doing everything right but still can't move his marriage.
We're eight days into going live every single day to pray. And there's one mistake almost everyone makes when praying for their spouse.
🔑 What we cover: • The spiritual side of marriage attacks that most couples ignore • What you can take from this even if you don't believe in God • The first sermon I ever heard as an adult—and why it was about anger • What "God first, then marriage" actually means in daily practice • Why consistency beats every lecture or speech you've ever given her • The prayer trap: asking only for your wife, your situation, your outcome • What shifts when you start praying for everyone in your position
Kathryn calls it new covenant thinking. It's short on purpose. Play it twice.
Want to pray with us? We go live daily. Search "Morrow" in the App Store or Google Play, join on Zoom, or watch on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Come to pray, intercede, or just listen.

How To Spot A Lonely Marriage | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep486
Every time I put the sentence "how to spot a lonely marriage" on a piece of content, it goes viral. One of them hit around six million views. So today I'm less interested in answering it than in asking why it keeps hooking you.
Here's the uncomfortable version: if that sentence stopped your thumb, you're not trying to spot one. You're already in one and you're looking for confirmation.
Then I answer it anyway, with the four tells Kathryn and I actually watch for in other couples.
🔑 What we cover: • Why "how to spot a lonely marriage" hooks millions and what that says about you • Tell #1: how two people give or withhold attention in a room full of other people • Tell #2: the birthday party pizza test, and why gratitude isn't the same as manners • Tell #3: wit as a weapon, and why "I'm just kidding, you need thicker skin" is gaslighting • Tell #4: how to hear a transactional marriage in the words people use • Why saying "I love you" just to hear it back is its own diagnosis • The question you should be asking instead, and why almost nobody clicks on it
If you're awesome to be around, people want to be around you. That includes your spouse.

I Can't Afford Marriage Help | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep485
Marriage Problems Aren’t Just A Rich Man’s Problem!
"I want help, but I can't afford it."
If that's the sentence running in your head, hear this: when Kathryn told me she wasn't in love with me, wasn't attracted to me, was settling and was repulsed by me, we had no money. We'd lost the business, the house, the cars. I sold $30,000 worth of tools for $4,000 and spent it on books, courses, and my first coach on a borrowed credit card. Broke was not the thing stopping me. Not being resourceful was.
In this episode Kathryn and I go after the two excuses that keep men stuck: "I can't afford it" and "I already work so hard."
🔑 What we cover: • Why "I can't afford help" is a mindset problem before it's a money problem • The free and low-cost path we built on purpose: books, songs, free trainings, the podcast, the app • What I actually did when we lost everything and still needed help • Why your attention is your #1 asset and where most men waste it • Working hard at the wrong thing is not the same as progress • "Twisted Tuesday" from our community: how to take the worst thing happening to you and pull the win out of it • Two real client stories, including a woman whose husband admitted his affair only after she did the work • Kathryn's line that changes everything: "I was a victim. I stopped being one."
This is for the man or woman who wants their marriage back and has been using money as the reason to wait. You don't need a program to start. You need to stop limiting yourself.

Why Saving Your Marriage Isn't Enough | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep484
Saving your marriage isn't enough on its own — because the focus that narrows onto your marriage is the same selfishness that damaged it. Real change happens when a man builds a purpose bigger than his own outcome, and then loves consistently with no scorecard attached.
Cass and Kathryn have watched this in over 8,000 people in under five years. The man who says "I just don't want to lose her" is still only talking about himself. He smothers. He invades her space. He crosses boundaries. Then he wonders why nothing moves.
Ask yourself what happened to your marriage when you locked in on your career. Or on your kids. The narrow focus wasn't the solution then either. 🔑 In this episode: • Why focusing only on your marriage keeps you the same selfish man • The difference between "I don't want to lose her" and actually loving her • Loving consistently — no scorecard, no contract, no waiting to see what she does first • How to find your purpose: the "check in your spirit" test • Why purpose you have to force yourself into is just a job • Kathryn on why she stopped saying "I don't need a legacy" • Why saving your marriage is not a rich person's problem — Cass and Kathryn were broke, and lost the gym, the home, and the cars, the same year she said she was settling • Taking what you survived and turning it into something that helps someone else
You have a skill set nobody else has, or an ability you haven't turned into one yet. Start there.

They Had Everything And Opened It Up | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep483
They dated since junior high. Neither had ever been with anyone else. A year and a half ago they opened their marriage up — and the rules broke almost immediately.
Cass doesn't hedge on this one: you cannot open a long-term marriage and not create damage. But there IS a version of "opening up" that saves marriages instead of ending them.
🔑 What we cover: • Why couples talk themselves into decisions they already know don't make sense • The rule that always breaks first — and why "we agreed on the terms" never holds • Cass calls the bluff: nobody walks away from something amazing wondering what else is out there • The right way to open your marriage up — transparently, to help other couples (Matt & Naomi's story) • The boundary on vulnerability: never drag your partner through your own sharing • Kathryn on judgment, and the line from "A Woman's Power" — you skipped the part that got us here • The everyday version: working late, an insecure partner, and opening up to HER first
If you're considering it, or you're on the other side of it trying to repair, start here.

You're Talked Out And It Never Works | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep482
You've had the same conversation four hundred times. You stay up until 6am to "resolve it." Nothing changes — and you've been told the answer is better communication.
It isn't. The talk is what's keeping you stuck.
🔑 What we cover: • Communication is not key — conversation is. The difference decides whether anything actually changes • The question Cass asks every man: do you want the talk, or do you want a wife who wants you? • A real coaching call — she wanted the skills for a hard money conversation. She actually wanted money in the bank • Why guilting a man who's already coping (gambling, checking out) gets you exactly nowhere • Kathryn's "secret money" — how quietly saving her own portion funded the kitchen remodel • Why your partner needs to EXPERIENCE the new you, not hear about them in another conversation
If you're conversationed-out and the talks only ever end in guilt and shame, start here.

It's Never About The Dishwasher | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep481
Every fight in your marriage ends up being about the same thing — and you've convinced yourself that thing is the problem. It isn't.
He cries about intimacy. She cries about the dishwasher. Neither one is the actual issue.
🔑 What we cover: • Why "I need intimacy to feel connected" vs "I need connection to want intimacy" is an unwinnable argument • The proof you already wanted more than physical intimacy: you dated, planned a life, and got married • Kathryn to women: stop debating whether it's really his love language — pretend it is and watch what changes • The same trap in reverse: she doesn't need you to do the dishes, she can run the house without you • Why threatening to "get it somewhere else" has never once made a woman want her husband • How one of you moves first: ask gently, then give what they need without scorekeeping

How To Tell If Your Partner Has Really Changed | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep480
He's been different for months. Maybe longer. And you still catch yourself waiting for it to slip — hoping instead of trusting, watching instead of relaxing. So how do you actually know when the change is real?
In Ep480, Cass and Kathryn answer a listener question with The Change Ladder — a 4-stage framework showing how change actually becomes authentic — and turn the test back onto the person asking.
🔑 What we cover: • Why it doesn't matter yet whether the changes are "real" • The Change Ladder: Behaviour → Mindset → Heart Posture → Authentic • The self-test: why holding onto bitterness means your changes aren't real yet either • How "waiting for the shoe to drop" actively sabotages your partner's progress • Why people who stopped bad behaviours years ago still aren't trusted • Shifting from "Stop hurting me" to "What can I do differently?" • Kathryn's raw admission: accepting his responsibility while looking at her own • Emotional capacity: why the more emotionally sound partner carries more (and how it flips) • Why saying "I forgive you" while relitigating the past daily isn't forgiveness
💛 A Note on Boundaries & Safety: Supporting a partner's personal growth is a choice you make — it is not an obligation, nor does it mean you are responsible for their choices or addiction/infidelity issues. None of this applies if you are in an unsafe situation.

Why You Can't Get Past That One Fight | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep479
Three years where nothing could touch you. You got through real grief together. And then one ordinary day, one argument about nothing, and eighteen months later you're still there — still arguing about it, still hurt, still unable to explain why this one thing broke everything.
In Ep479, Cass takes a call with a couple living exactly that, and explains why the one thing that started it is the thing you can't get past.
🔑 What we cover: • Why "perfect" years often mean you were each other's rescue, not each other's partner • What actually broke: not the argument, but discovering they could hurt you • Extreme highs and lows — the highs carry you far, the lows level everything • Why explaining yourself calmly is still being defensive • Losing track of who you are, and what that does to a marriage • Why they're still fighting about a decision neither of them cares about • How one thing becomes two, then everything • If you both want the same thing, they probably aren't trying to hurt you
💛 One thing said plainly in this episode: threats are abuse, even if nobody has been touched. If that's your situation, please talk to someone who can help — in the US, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. It's free, confidential, and open 24/7.

Can ChatGPT Be Your Therapist? | Using AI For Marriage Advice | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep478
You typed the whole thing out at 2am — everything that's happened, everything you've tried — and it gave you a clear, calm, sensible answer. Then you pushed a bit harder, and it agreed with you again. And again.
In Ep478, Cass has been putting ChatGPT and Gemini through their paces, and Kathryn had an actual fight with one. Here's where it helps, and exactly where it stops.
🔑 What we cover: • Why it validates everything, and what that has in common with a bad listener • Kathryn's fight with Gemini — it got defensive, then it gave her the silent treatment • Why it can't go deeper than the second question • The materials list for this studio that was short on studs and screws • Why "it gave me steps" isn't the same as it understanding your marriage • Where it's genuinely fine — and where it's still not a lawyer • The situations it has nothing at all for • Why the basic stuff was never your real problem
⚠️ If you're in crisis, please don't use a chatbot. Talk to a person — emergency services, a crisis line, or a professional. That's not what this episode is about.
🤖 Two accuracy notes: asking an AI whether it made something up isn't a reliable check — verify the claim against a real source instead. And a chatbot isn't learning from your individual conversations day to day; what changes is the model itself.

"Nothing I Do Is Good Enough" Is Manipulation | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep477
Thirty days of doing everything right. Then day 31, one thing goes wrong, and it's like none of it happened — the past comes back, everything gets stacked up, and out it comes: "nothing I do is ever good enough."
Cass used to say it constantly. In Ep477 he explains why it's the single most self-defeating sentence you can say to your partner — and why it isn't the confession you think it is.
🔑 What we cover: • Day 31 — why one bad day undoes a month of progress • What that sentence is actually asking your partner to do • Why nobody has ever responded to it the way you're hoping • What comes back instead: "you're right, nothing you do is" • The same move in disguise: "fine, I want a divorce," "you never help with the kids" • Inconsistent love — why the gifts and dropping-everything don't land • If you know what you want, why do the things that can't produce it? • The man who couldn't train because he was up every night — and the plan that worked • Kathryn on when to take Cass literally, and when not to
You can't guilt someone into appreciating you. Here is what to do instead.

Can't Afford Marriage Counseling? Read This First | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep475
Can't Afford Marriage Counseling, Coaching Or Help!
"I can't afford it." Cass and Kathryn have heard this objection thousands of times. While financial distress can be real, the more critical question is: what are people spending money on instead to try to fix their relationship? The $100k truck, the kitchen renovation, the Disney trip—none of it worked.
In Ep475, Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down why you cannot buy your way out of a marriage problem, what the real wall is when it isn't money, and how to get truly unstuck.
🔑 What we cover in this episode: • What every man who claims he's broke spent money on that week • Getting unstuck vs. remaining stuck: Kathryn on true resourcefulness • The man who cancelled his call to go to Disney—and why the fights followed • The $100,000 truck: why buying gifts cannot heal broken patterns • "It's not the cup in the sink and it's not the kitchen renovation" • What Kathryn did to build happiness when there was no money and no help • Turning down clients: why readiness matters more than budget • What you actually can't afford: having no one check your blind spots
💛 If money is genuinely the wall right now: Start with our free tools. The podcast is free, the community is free, and our books exist specifically to provide structured help for those who cannot afford coaching. Nothing shared here is financial advice or a recommendation to take on debt.

How To Apologize To Your Wife So She Believes You | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep474
You apologized. You explained what you learned, how you've grown, and how much you understand now. And she looked at you like she's heard it all before—because she has.
In Ep474, Cass and Kathryn Morrow reveal the method they are running with clients right now. The first instruction is the one nobody expects: stop talking.
🔑 What we cover in this episode: • Why explaining your growth is the exact thing killing your apology • The one line to say before playing the song—and why you must stay silent afterwards • How letting her arrive at the recognition herself changes everything • What to do when your spouse doesn't believe your changes are real • Remorse vs. Repentance: the critical distinction that determines if an apology holds • The "Validation Hole": why active listening alone can make your partner feel therapized rather than cared for • Which songs to use, and how women can flip the gender roles to use them for their husbands • How to submit an apology video for direct coaching feedback
📕 Songs featured in this episode: • She's Invisible To You
• She Doesn't Believe My Changes Are Real
• She's Carrying All The Loads
• How Can This Be Real

Should You Break Up To Work On Yourself? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep473
"I left so I could grow faster." It sounds like maturity. It sounds like the healthy thing that everyone online tells you to do: take space, work on yourself, and come back whole.
In Ep473, Cass and Kathryn Morrow dismantle that justification with a man who separated two months ago specifically to work on his insecurity. Cass asked him the obvious question: how are you going to work on insecurity with nobody around to be insecure about?
🔑 What we cover in this episode: • If you can't do the work with the person who hurts you most, why would the next relationship be any different? • The cheeseburger and the tacos: why changing every variable except the common denominator fails • Why you cannot test a personal change in a room where nothing triggers you • "You didn't lose her. You gave her away." • Why wanting to heal in a vacuum is itself a form of insecurity • What giving someone space actually teaches them about life without you • Kathryn: what the first time using your training under pressure is really like • Pressure makes the diamond: why real growth requires tension • Why every therapist, coach, and counsellor works with people while they're still in the fire • The two-month reality check: what growing alone actually produced
If you are being told that leaving is the healthy choice, watch this before you step out of the room.

Why Self-Help Books Don't Fix Marriages | Don't Read My Book | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep472
You read the book. It made sense. You made real progress. And then you slid backwards, and now you're wondering whether any of this works — or whether it just doesn't work for you.
In Ep472, Cass and Kathryn explain why reading a self-help book is never a substitute for real-time accountability, and why using a book as proof that you "tried everything" is a dangerous trap.
🔑 What we cover in this episode: • The two men: one who wanted a book instead of coaching, one who read it and went backwards • Addressing the question directly: "Is this just an upsell to coaching?" • Why you cannot run a composure tool for the first time while your spouse is screaming at you • What a book cannot give you: accountability, execution checks, and real-time feedback • The calculus test — would you fly a space mission after reading a textbook once? • Why Michael Jordan had a coach from the day he nearly failed tryouts • The two real reasons the Morrow Marriage books were written • Why the course uses video formats to maximize retention and application • The failure mode: using a book as evidence that you tried so you can give up • Case study: The woman who was two weeks from signing divorce papers—and what actually turned her marriage around
📕 Where the books fit: We wrote our books as a fast reference manual for people who are already doing the work, and so that anyone who genuinely cannot afford coaching still has something actionable in their hands. They were never designed to replace real-time feedback and execution practice.

"Then Just Divorce Him Already" | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep471
Cass said that to a woman in the program four minutes into a coaching call. She stopped, took a step back, and admitted: "I want to." That single moment of honesty is where this episode actually starts.
This is not an episode about forcing you to stay in a broken marriage. It is about who you become while making the choice. If you leave driven by resentment and contempt, you carry that exact same internal pattern into your next relationship.
🔑 What we cover in this episode: • Why saying "I've tried everything" is almost never structurally true • The psychological trap of scripting your spouse's reactions before speaking • How a woman transformed her identity, then reverted within four weeks • Kathryn's direct confrontation: "She doesn't talk to me like that. Who are you?" • Why adopting contempt in response to bad behavior destroys your own power • Understanding anger as a secondary emotion and uncovering what lies beneath it • Kathryn on what maintaining composure actually cost her during crisis • Why getting a divorce doesn't automatically mean your relationship story is over • The three non-negotiables for leaving correctly: Core values, clear identity, zero contempt • The case study of a client who divorced—and is now re-engaged to the same woman
⚠️ Important Safety Distinction: This episode addresses personal emotional regulation inside relational friction. It is not instruction to endure physical abuse, toxic control, or unsafe environments. If you are in an unsafe situation, please seek immediate professional support and safety resources. Personal work is for your own growth, never an endorsement of harm.

How To Fix Resentment Fast | You're Keeping The Wrong List | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep470
Scorekeeping is Bad, But Use It When it’s For Good!
You've got a list. You didn't write it down, but you could recite it—every time they forgot, every time they didn't ask, every time you were the only one who tried. And the longer it gets, the more certain you are that you're right.
In Ep470, Cass and Kathryn take the thing that's quietly destroying your marriage and turn it around: the same attentiveness, pointed the other direction, is one of the most powerful tools they teach.
🔑 What we cover: • What scorekeeping actually is, and the sequence it always runs • Pull back, shut down, cope, boil over, lecture • The test for whether your evidence is real: do you still feel it in three days? • Two signs the list is the bad kind • The Lovers List—Cass's tool, and Kathryn's "rose colored glasses" • Why "you're beautiful" is where you start, not where you stop • How to write a Mother's or Father's Day card that couldn't be about anyone else • The pause: when you're going over the edge, go read your list • Kathryn's honest caveat about when this won't work • Why every marriage they rebuild starts with what was good
You can't bridge the gap with a list of everything they got wrong.

You Recorded The Fight To Prove You Were Right | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep469
You hit record because you were finally going to have proof. And the second that phone went face-down on the table, you started behaving—measured, calm, reasonable—while you waited for them to hand you the exact reaction you were looking for.
That's why the recording never works. In Ep469, Cass and Kathryn take on a question they get constantly, including the one recording of their own worst night that actually changed something.
🔑 What we cover: • Why recording puts you on your best behavior—and why that ruins the evidence • The man with a restraining order who couldn't name one thing he'd done • The five-minute "fight" that turned out to be nothing at all • The tells we hear every time: patronizing, passive aggression, wit as a weapon • Kathryn's instruction: if you're going to record, don't perform • The night Cass lost it before leaving for Africa—and what Kathryn did while recording • Why he watched two minutes of it and turned the car around • Recording to be right vs. recording for a breakthrough • What she did when he came home that most people won't do
⚖️ One note: Recording laws differ by state, and roughly a dozen require every person in the conversation to consent. Check your own state's law before you record anything. This isn't legal advice.
💛 Safety Note: If you're recording because you genuinely aren't safe, that's not the motive problem we're talking about here. Documenting what's happening to you is a different thing, and it's valid.

You're Not Pulling Away, You're Pushing Her Away | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep468
The toilet paper roll was hung the wrong way. She was ten minutes late. The thermostat had been changed. None of it means anything on its own, and you're not accusing anyone—yet. You're just keeping track.
That's where it starts. In Ep468, Cass and Kathryn walk through the most common path from insecurity to betrayal, step by step, using their own marriage as the case study—including the part where the "evidence" turned out to be a five-year-old and a clean toilet.
🔑 What we cover: • Why "proof she's cheating" and "proof she loves me" are the exact same search • Stacking evidence: the vault you're filling without realizing it • What it does to a partner when a normal, honest answer is never good enough • Checking her location, and why being proven wrong only makes the insecurity worse • Why you can't win an argument against your own mind using facts • Kathryn's honest admission about what she thought about, and didn't do • How a betrayal actually begins—and why it doesn't start with a third person • "I'm not pulling away, you're pushing me away" • The last mistake: smothering someone who needed space to breathe
If you're looking for proof that you're loved, this is what the search is costing your marriage.

But I Didn’t F*ck Her | Do You Have To Sleep With Someone To Cheat? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep467
It's the defense men reach for when confronted with betrayal, and it's the wrong measurement. Nothing physical happened and something was still broken—the compliments, the messages, the hidden conversations, the version of yourself you reserved for someone else.
In Ep467 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn clear the air on their own story and answer the questions people keep asking sideways: what actually happened, what he actually did, and why he still says he cheated.
🔑 What we cover: • Why betrayal is far bigger than the physical act • What Cass actually did—and why he still says "I cheated" • Why he defended his behavior for years (and why it wasn't about disagreeing with her) • What Kathryn didn't know: that showing him her pain made him feel worse • Where the line for physical harm sits, and why they still debate it • Why "he never hit me" and "I wasn't beaten as a kid" stem from the same blind spot • Diagnoses, medication, and why they believe labels can be peeled off • Why a 40-second clip will never carry a 14-year story
If you've ever been told "nothing happened" and known deep down that something did, start here.

If You Have To Explain It, You're Not There Yet | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep466
You've been doing the work. Reading, listening, showing up. And you keep telling people about it—"I'm doing this for me," "I can't control my partner." It sounds healthy. It sounds like growth. And everyone around you can hear that you're not there yet.
In Ep466 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn take on the flip side of everything they usually teach: inauthenticity ruins marriages, and so does chasing authenticity before you've actually arrived.
🔑 What we cover: • The exact phrases that out you as not-yet-changed • Why you don't have to say "I can't control my partner" if you actually believe it • The personal-trainer test—announcing the work vs. doing the work • Why growth is exponential, not linear, and why year one feels like nothing • The coaching moment: "Why did you have to say that?" • How "I'm the one doing everything" becomes the justification for quitting • The restaurant story—a man six years divorced who still hasn't put it down • Why it's completely fine to say "I don't know who I am yet" • Kathryn's closer: smart people don't have to tell you they're smart

His Anger Isn't About The Kids | Stop Correcting Him | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep465
He snaps at your five-year-old over nothing. You bring it up gently, at the right moment, in private—and he still hears an attack and tells you you're disrespecting him. So you stop bringing it up, and the tension just moves in and lives with you.
In Ep465 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn answer a real listener question and hand back a reframe that changes what you're actually solving.
🔑 What we cover: • Why the anger almost certainly isn't about your child • Short fuses vs. long fuses, and what happens when mom starts shielding the kids • What defensiveness actually is: the mouth opens and the ears close • Why better timing won't rescue a conversation with someone who's already angry • Where to look instead—the areas of your marriage you've quietly written off • Why criticism lands soft when you're connected and lands like contempt when you're not • Kathryn's one-line move that stops Cass mid-spiral without correcting him • Kathryn's honest three weeks, and what Cass said instead of a lecture • The close: you don't have to correct your spouse, you have to connect with your spouse

When Is A Boundary Unreasonable For Insecurity | Insecurity vs Control | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep464
She asks you to cut off one friend. You do it. Six months later there's a new name on the list. That's the tell: the friend was never the problem.
In Ep464 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn walk through a real coaching case and draw the line between a boundary that protects a relationship and one that just manages someone's insecurity.
🔑 What we cover: • The full story: a coach, a late-night compliment text, and a fight that's still going 18 months later • Why the friend is almost always a proxy, and how to spot it • "If it's not this person, it's the next one"—the test that ends the debate • Owning the optics even when you did nothing wrong • Cass and Kathryn's actual rule: no his-friends and her-friends, only collective friends • You're allowed to be insecure. You're not allowed to be in and out. • How to set the real boundary—about the future, not about the friend • When she says she's done: the cool-off, and why chasing makes it worse • Why "go clean up your baggage" is a trap (everybody has some)

Why Confident Men Feel Insecure At Home | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep463
You run a company, close deals, and make hard calls all day. Then you walk in your front door and one look from her puts you on your heels. That's not weakness. That's insecurity, and insecurity is just fear you've never named.
In Ep463 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass breaks down why powerful men and women fall apart at home while they dominate everywhere else, and what to actually do about it.
🔑 What we cover: • Why insecurity is not about her cheating (that's a symptom, not the definition) • How you built confidence in the real world and skipped that process at home • The CEO wife and the checked-out husband: what was really going on with both of them • Why blame is the mask insecurity wears • What happens when you define yourself by your job, your spouse, and your kids • Why performing works at work for a while and never works at home • The real fear underneath it: not losing her, but not knowing who you are • How to point the same attitude that built your career at your private life
If you're the guy everyone else calls strong and you feel like a stranger in your own house, this one's for you.

Why Home Feels Like Failure To Successful Men | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep462
Why Men Chose Work Over Their Wife And Women, Children Over Their Husband!
He buries himself in work. She pours everything into the kids. And somewhere in the middle, the two people who promised forever stopped choosing each other.
In Ep462 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow take on both sides of the same wound—why men choose work over their wife, and why women choose the children over their husband—and land on the deeper question underneath all of it.
Core reframe: It isn't really about work or kids—it's escape. Whether it's late nights at the office, phones, gaming, or substances, both spouses retreat to where they feel competent, safe, or appreciated instead of facing failure at home.
Cass and Kathryn break down "the unexpected triangle" with children, why work feels safer than home for high-achieving men, and how to stop playing the victim so you can rebuild real connection.
🔑 What we cover: • "The unexpected triangle"—why the kids feel safe when the husband doesn't • Why men retreat to work: success feels like competence, home feels like failure • The real culprit isn't work or kids—it's escape (phones, substances, gaming, affairs) • The two questions that change everything: why are they escaping you—and why are you escaping them? • "What good is the kingdom if you never built a home?"—gray divorce, regret, and how to start choosing your spouse again

Is Withholding Intimacy Abuse In Marriage? | Saying No Isn't Withholding | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep461
Your wife keeps saying no—and somewhere online you read that makes it abuse. Before you run with that, there's a line most people get completely wrong.
In Ep461 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow take a controversial listener question head-on: is withholding intimacy abuse in marriage—and what actually counts as "withholding"?
Core reframe: not having sex is NOT the same as withholding, and saying no is NOT withholding. Most women who aren't having sex aren't punishing anyone—they are simply disconnected. Withholding requires a conscious, malicious intent to punish.
Cass and Kathryn break down the entitlement trap behind the word "withholding," examine when emotional withdrawal and the cold shoulder cross into manipulation or abuse, and share how to stop diagnosing your spouse so you can actually rebuild intimacy.
🔑 What we cover: • Why not having sex is NOT the same as withholding (and why saying no isn't either) • The entitlement trap hiding inside words like "she's withholding" or "she's unavailable" • When it DOES cross the line: conscious, malicious intent to punish • The cold shoulder & silent treatment: how emotional withdrawal becomes abusive • Manipulation vs. abuse—where the line sits and how to get out of the gray area • Handling rejection without escalating or demanding sex • The ultimate fix: "Nobody can out-hate somebody who out-loves"

Everybody Wants Your Life — But Nobody Knows The Truth | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep460
You built the career, the business, the reputation, and the house. Everyone on the outside envies what you have. But behind closed doors, your marriage is quietly falling apart—and you are terrified of anyone finding out.
In Ep460 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow unpack why so many high-achieving, successful men have an enviable public life and a deeply struggling private one. They lived it themselves—managing a 20-year family business while keeping up a "fake marriage" facade because their professional status depended on it.
Cass and Kathryn break down the exact reasons why success in business fails to translate to success at home: from bringing home mental "leftovers," to focusing on solutions at work while rehashing pain at home, to enabling toxic patterns with your spouse that you would never tolerate with a business client.
🔑 What we cover: • Why "the castle doesn't match the kingdom"—the exhausting public vs. private gap • The "fake marriage" facade and why people don't believe you when you tell the truth • Reason 1: You weren't taught—building from nothing with zero relationship models • Distraction kills success: Why side endeavors (and hobbies) ruin focus at work AND home • Bringing Home Leftovers: Why pouring 100% into work leaves your spouse depleted • Reason 2: Solution-minded in business vs. pain-obsessed at home • Reason 3: "I tried everything"—the lie you tell at home that you'd never accept at work • Reason 4: Blame and unspoken assumptions that quietly breed massive resentment • Familiarity Breeds Contempt: Why you enable dysfunction at home instead of fixing it • The Wake-Up Call: If you don't fix it privately, the public finds out anyway through divorce

A Recovered Narcissist Teaches You How To Feel Empathy | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep458
A recovered narcissist—someone who genuinely didn't feel empathy for decades—is going to teach you exactly how to access it.
In Ep458 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down why empathy disappears in a relationship, how to bring it back even if it doesn't come naturally to you, and what high-level empathy looks like when trust has been completely broken. Empathy isn't gone; it's buried under self-preservation. When your amygdala takes over, fight, flight, freeze, or fawn masks your ability to care.
Cass shares the breakthrough moment he felt real empathy for the first time with his infant son, and details the exact two-step mental simulation he uses to connect with his family. If you've been called cold, or if you're exhausted by a partner's emotional absence, this episode will show you how to get past the walls and rebuild real intimacy.
🔑 What we cover: • Cass as a managing narcissist—why he had to teach himself to feel • The moment he felt real empathy for the first time (the baby Riddick story) • Two types of people: No empathy vs. empathy buried by defensiveness • Fight, flight, freeze, or fawn—how your amygdala completely shuts empathy down • The Two-Step Technique: Make it about you first, then transfer it back to them • Custom Connection: Meeting different emotional needs (Kathryn vs. their daughter Briar) • High-Level Empathy: Owning your part in what led to a major breach or affair • Shifting out of the "lizard brain" to build a brand new marriage

Why I Cut Off People I Actually Like | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep457
There are people in your life right now who you genuinely like — good people — who still need to go.
Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down the hardest social boundary to hold: not cutting off toxic people, but cutting back on people you actually care about who are anchoring you to the version of your life you're trying to leave.
🔑 What we cover: • Why even positive, likeable people sometimes need to be removed — and how to know when • The real client story: Cass had to tell someone he genuinely liked "we're not friends" • The "sixes can't be with tens" rule — what happens to your circle as you level up • Why you can't pour into thousands of people if you're spending unlimited energy on a few • The important exception: clients who grew and became some of Cass's closest friends • How to tell the difference between someone who's struggling vs. someone who's choosing to stay stuck
If you feel guilty cutting people off — or if you keep giving energy to people who take without growing — this episode is for you.

The Quiet Divorce | Signs Your Spouse Has Emotionally Checked Out | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep456
Cass Morrow, Author of Disrupting Divorce: The NEW Man. Saving Struggling, Sexless, and Toxic Marriages.
Kathryn Morrow, Author of Behind The White Picket Fence.
Signs Your Spouse Has Emotionally Checked Out!
Your partner didn't just leave. They left a long time ago.
The "quiet divorce" is the emotional and psychological departure that happens years before anyone ever files legal paperwork. When a struggling marriage suddenly gets quiet, most people mistake the peace for a good sign. In reality, that calm after the storm isn't a resolution—it's resignation.
In Ep456 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow unpack the hidden mechanics of emotional withdrawal, the rising wave of mid-life "gray divorce," and why a partner who stops fighting is far more dangerous than one who is still arguing.
🔑 What we cover: • What the quiet divorce actually is—and why it blindsides spouses who weren't paying attention • The 5-Stage Arc of Withdrawal: Needs expressed → Ignored → Blame → Contempt → Silence • The 5-Year Window: Why women contemplate leaving for an average of five years before saying a word • Contempt vs. Infidelity: Why disrespect and disgust are the actual leading causes of divorce • The Caregiver Trap: How prioritizing parenting while skipping dates quietly suffocates intimacy • Letting Go vs. Giving Up: Knowing the difference between healthy detachment and checking out • Breaking the Gender War Myth: Why men and women are saying the exact same things behind closed doors
There is no sudden, magical rug-pull when a relationship ends. They have been telling you what they need—you just stopped listening. If the silence in your home has become deafening, this episode will show you exactly what it means and how to fix it.

Is My Marriage Over, Or Am I Just Tired? | Why You Feel So Exhausted? | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep454
Cass Morrow, Author of Disrupting Divorce: The NEW Man. Saving Struggling, Sexless, and Toxic Marriages.
Kathryn Morrow, Author of Behind The White Picket Fence.
Begging for trust is why you don't have it.
When you plead, "you just have to trust me, I've changed," you are asking for something you haven't done the work to deserve. Begging starts as desperation, turns into defensiveness, and eventually flips into an attack on your partner. Real trust isn't negotiated—it's earned.
In Ep455 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down the exact anatomy of rebuilding trust after cheating, lies, or emotional affairs. They explain why your partner still doesn't trust you even if you've stopped the bad behavior, and how to use the "trust bank account" to restore intimacy without losing your dignity.
🔑 What we cover: • Why begging (even the quiet, subtle version) completely backfires • The Trust Bank Account: How consistent, aligned behavior fills it automatically • Why felt safety must come before trust can ever be rebuilt • Emotional affairs vs. physical affairs: Why connection without contact still counts • The trap of habit replacement: Why switching one bad coping mechanism for another fails • Why personal growth—becoming a genuinely new person—is the single fastest path to trust • The myth of closure: Why looking to your ex or partner for an explanation won't heal you • Covert contracts and manipulation tactics that secretly destroy relational foundations
Stop demanding a reward for doing the bare minimum. If you want your partner to stop policing you, you have to become a man or woman worth trusting.

"Is my marriage over, or am I just tired?"
There's a massive difference between the two—and most people get it completely wrong. When you are exhausted in your relationship, it doesn’t mean your marriage is dead. It means you’ve been spinning your wheels doing the wrong things.
In Ep454 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow tackle the reality of marriage exhaustion and burnout. Real growth energizes you; avoidance and bad strategies drain you. They pull no punches on what it truly means to fight for a relationship when you feel like checking out.
🔑 What we cover: • Why feeling tired means you've checked out, not that you’ve "tried everything" • What real growth actually feels like (Hint: It supercharges you, it doesn't drain you) • The marriage vow most people repeat but don't actually mean • "My spouse has a mental illness and I want to leave" — what that really says about your commitment • Why doing therapy wrong and calling it "trying" is making you more exhausted • The dishes analogy: Why effort without accuracy makes you do twice the work • The silent relationship killer: When kids start replacing your spouse as the emotional center • Can you actually outgrow a soulmate, or are you just stagnating? • Why rushing into rebound relationships is an escape tactic, not genuine healing • The 5-to-6-year mark: What sustained marital transformation looks like
If you’re drained, frustrated, and wondering if it’s time to call it quits, this episode will tell you the truth—whether you’re ready to hear it or not.

Why Your Wife Doesn't Want The Life Everyone Else Wants | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep453
Cass Morrow, Author of Disrupting Divorce: The NEW Man. Saving Struggling, Sexless, and Toxic Marriages.
Kathryn Morrow, Author of Behind The White Picket Fence.
Why Your Wife Doesn't Want The Life Everyone Else Wants!
He sold the company. Early retirement. Everything ready to go. And his wife is done. He called Kathryn and said: "I'm successful in every area of my life — except with my wife. I give her everything. She wants for nothing."
Here's what nobody told him: Your wife will leave a beautiful life for a peaceful one.
She's not rejecting the house, the trips, or the credit card. She's rejecting the loneliness. She was parenting alone, managing the schedule alone, and running her life alone. Yes — with your money. But her intention was to do it together. She thought you'd be a family. Not a king providing for his peasants.
In Ep453 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down why the life everyone else envies isn't the life your wife was asking for — and what she actually needed that money couldn't buy.
🔑 What we cover: • The $50M client who sold his company, expected "go time" — and found his marriage imploding • "I'm successful in every area except with my wife" — why this is so common in high-achieving men • Why women leave a beautiful life for a peaceful one • The lonely wife: parenting alone, scheduling alone, living alone — inside a full house • How money and entitlement travel together (even when you don't see it) • "Sorry for calling you a bitch — here's a purse." Why material gifts don't repair relational damage • The clear signs she was hurting — that were there the whole time • Why both extremes (very wealthy and very broke) share the same entitlement patterns • The cost of excellence — and why our program isn't free (and why it shouldn't be) • "You built the kingdom. You didn't build the home. Now you're losing the people in the home." • True success: health, wealth, AND relationship — you don't get to claim one without the others • The 99-day breakthrough challenge — now live on go.morrowmarriage.com
If you’ve built financial success but are losing your home — this episode is for you.

Sexless Marriage — The Real Definition (It's Not What You Think) | The 'NEW' Marriage | Ep452
Cass Morrow, Author of Disrupting Divorce: The NEW Man. Saving Struggling, Sexless, and Toxic Marriages.
Kathryn Morrow, Author of Behind The White Picket Fence.
Sexless Marriage — The Real Definition!
The clinical definition of a sexless marriage is 6 months or more without sex. But Cass Morrow's definition starts much earlier.
If she's having sex with you because she feels sorry for you — that's pity sex. You're not connecting. You're being managed. If she's having sex with you because she's afraid of what happens if she doesn't — that's fear sex. She consented, but not freely.
Kathryn Morrow drops the bomb: if one or both of you isn't fully present and wanting it — is it actually sex? It's the act of sex, but not what sex is supposed to be. So are you in a sexless marriage? Probably.
In Ep452 of The 'NEW' Marriage, Cass and Kathryn Morrow break down the real definition of a sexless marriage — and what it actually takes to get out of one.
🔑 What we cover: • Why the 6-month clinical definition misses what's actually happening in most marriages • Pity sex: why managing your mood with sex is already a form of a sexless marriage • Fear sex: she consents, but she's afraid — what that means and what you've created • Kathryn's expansion: if she's not into it, you're not having sex — you're performing it • The scorekeeping trap — Cass tracked sex down to the hour, and why that destroyed intimacy • The moment Kathryn pulled back for a month and what she said: "We haven't had a fight. Must feel safe." • The 30-day reset: why Cass teaches men to go 30 days without sex (and what to do instead) • The rejection ladder: do you want a hug-less marriage? Then initiate — everything, not just sex • "Initiate, not force" — how to breed connection without pressuring • The job analogy: doing something you don't want to do for a boss who's an asshole
If your wife has s*ex with you but you can feel she's not there — this episode is for you.
