Team that is growing and growing internationally.

When and where did your Moringa journey begin?

It began at my shop by receiving a call from a friend requesting me to wait until she got there with someone that was going to change my life. Ep #23 - A follow up conversation with Aubrey Bynoe - Dominca31 Jan 202200:53:33

In this episode we get a follow up conversation with Aubrey Bynoe from Dominca on where he is now since he last spoke with Mariko. In the Last episode Mariko and Aubrey have a great conversation about his amazing Moringa and Permaculture Project on the island of Dominica.  We have been so inspired by Aubrey ever since he came through the Moringa Certification Course four years ago.  He was a man on a mission and quickly absorbed everything he could to integrate into his vision.  He purchased land in Dominica where his Father is from, and after traveling and studying Permaculture and Organic Farming practices he finally landed to be full time on his land, Free Up Farm.  He is also advocating for Permaculture and natural practices with the local decision makers on the island which is so great.  Aubrey is so fully dedicated to his mission and it is so uplifting.  We love to see the younger generations passionate about creating these new world hubs.  Check out his website and IG @freeupfarm

Location of Moringa project?

Dominica

What is your Moringa Project?

We are using Moringa to explore hurricane resiliency, the revitalization of organic agriculture and showcase nutritional and culinary applications of Moringa and the many other fruits and perennial  systems we have at the farm.

When and where did your Moringa journey begin?

I was first introduced to Moringa through traveling through Costa Rica. In 2016 I completed my growers course.

Why did you step onto this path?

Nothing else besides food and water made much sense so through permaculture I began exploring these topics more in-depth.

What keeps you on this path?

So far, permaculture is one of the only things that makes sense.

What do you want Moringa to know about you and your work?

That we are inspired by Morninga’s resilience, adaptability and abundance and that we emulate these attributes.

Student Stories: Nikoletta Stamatatos - Bonus25 Jun 202100:22:34

Nikoletta has been a digital marketing consultant for the past 20 years, working for the likes of the big tech giants Google, YouTube, & DoubleClick. Previous to this she also worked in the magazine/book publishing industry in London, and as a Community Worker with the elderly & people with cerebral palsy in Australia. She has a passion for organic gardening, regenerative agriculture, soil health, and her four chickens. Since moving to a 10 acre property 3 years ago, halfway between Sydney and Brisbane in NSW, Australia, Nikoletta has been eager to transition over to having a business working on the land & growing nutritious, medicinal food for her local community. Whilst researching different crops to grow she came across Moringa and was mesmerized by the 'miracle tree'. It was at this point she decided to learn as much as she could about this amazing tree (history, how to cook/eat it, grow, harvest, process), spread the knowledge (local community & beyond), and develop as many saleable Moringa products for human and animal consumption.
