Real Truths about Friendships (and Outgrowing Them)29 May 202600:47:38

GUEST INTERVIEW!

Join Miranda Lee and her close friend Madeline Dell, tattoo artist, mother of ALMOST two, while they chat real friendship!

They aren't the girls with the troop of 8 besties that have been alongside them since childhood. And if they could, they would tell their younger selves (and you) not to buy into that... as it isn't really how relationships work for people if you are really honest with yourself.

They are both mothers, entrepreneurs, (untreated ADHD in full force) and spiritual ladies who live to dive into deep chats, and break down the phony superficial shit.  Join as they speak to normalizing some real pieces of friendship, especially in adulthood.

Topics:

  • Realism in Friendship: How they met, have supported and built a friendship during the busy chapter of life raising kids, running businesses and being a good spouse
  • Superficial BS: Being around and insights on surface level, fake small talk chatter and 'everythings perfect' personas amongst other women and moms, and how much more fulfilling real, vulnerable chat can be for each other. How we can put down the masks.
  •  Unrealistic Expectations: How we aren't meant to be 'the same person' with the same friends our entire lives to be a good friend. People are meant to come and go, and serve a purpose.
  • Energy & Growth Shifts- The energetic and vibrational shifts and growth that happen, and how to honor a friendship ending and the deep grieving process that we must honor
  • Honest Input & Advice: How they listen and give honest feedback and opinions with each other in a respectful and heart led way
  • Being A Support in Relationships: Being on team 'my friend and her partner' and how we hear out and empower each other in the relationships with our spouses.

A first, but not last, interview together about normalizing the real parts of life they navigate together with vulnerability and deep conversations. Stay tuned, as they will surely dive into some deeper spiritual chats in the future!

Normalizing the Hard in Relationships27 May 202601:32:22

GUEST INTERVIEW!

Join Miranda and her husband, Alan, as they speak to some hard chapters and growth points that were needed to build a conscious relationship.

Topics:

  • Communication- meeting each others default communication styles (and protectors) and how they worked through finding better ways to meet each other, listen, be heard, and support each other
  • Having Emotional Availability- understanding what that looks like, how sometimes it looks when there isn't any, and what they needed to be able to both feel like they are getting emotional connection....(it takes a few minutes, but they get there)
  • The Rock & The Sinker- how they work to support each other when one is struggling or working through a challenging chapter, while the other is in a successful and fulfilling season. How to alternate and meet each other when you aren't on the same page in life

Miranda & Alan like to normalize the rocks and challenges that come with dating, marriage, having kids...and the work it really takes to get to a place where you can feel supported, balanced, and able to demonstrate healthy relationships to your kids.

It takes work, challenges, experiences, and then effort...and there isn't enough real conversations with vulnerability about this!

Alan and Miranda now collaborate to offer sessions in Energy Work, Sound Healing, with some Couples Retreats in the works.

The Lessons within My Story 25 May 202601:03:21

Its time for her to share her story!

The past ten years have been a ride, and she's finally ready to dive right in.

She believes strongly that sometimes life has to knock extra hard to halt you from autopilot, sift away the bullshit we believe, connect with your heart compass, your souls purpose, and see the true lens and meaning in your life....and how beautiful it can be if you let it!

A mothers journey from being a fitness professional to then moving through a medical diagnosis, becoming a medical mom, and facing hard realities and the fear that showed itself.

Miranda Lee speaks to her journey of suddenly facing a rare neurological disease, navigating the emotions of being a medical mom, trying to adjust to living in a changing body, running a fitness studio, meeting a pandemic, marriage struggles, and more.

But here she is, to tell you how she shifted her energy and mindset, met herself with vulnerability, came out on top and is living an intentional, beautiful, authentic life.

She shares how she grew, crumbled (and continues to allow it all), and how it all had purpose, power and made her stronger and much more connected with what really matters in life.

A Guide to Embodying Your Love & Light03 Jun 202601:25:29

If Miranda Lee could put this feeling in a jar and share it with you, she would!

Instead, she will share her story to finding her own embodiment of light, love and connection in this life, how she lives within it now...and some guidance and tips how you can too!

It truly is a journey of unlearning, un-numbing, looking the fuck up in life, and letting yourself slip off autopilot and into the absolute beauty of everything you can feel, sense, and move past in this moment right now (and into your day).

Topics:

  • Physical Sensation: The actual physical sensations she experiences in flow and embodiment state of love, light, spirit and physical body
  • State of Remembering: How we enter this life, in the open and expansion feelings as a child, and how and why the walls start to go up. The potential of children to crack ourselves back open in adulthood, back to this state, if we are vulnerable enough with ourselves to let them.
  • Her Personal 'Crack Wide Open' Moments: The moments in adulthood that have invited her back into her body, into her heart, into the physical and energetic sensation and connection that we are more then our body and the identities and roles in our lives...but spiritual and energetic beings (and how powerful that is)
  • Practices that Supported This Shift: The practices that have shifted her, her wellness, her life and now her profession. Because everything she advocates, teaches and guides IS FIRST FOR HER OWN HEALING... and if it shifts her own wellness and states of being, then she shares her experiences with her community and clients.
  • Staying Calibrated: How the self care plate can become really heavy if we feel we need to 'do all the damn things', and instead trust our bodys guidance to focus on what it states is valuable. Miranda speaks to how she stays calibrated, and what habits she catches herself doing when she is low vibration, disembodied or out of practice with self care physically & energetically.
  • Living Cyclically & Keeping Balance: The lessons and some guidance on how she has shifted her life to be more in alignment and balance so she can hold space for herself and the community and groups she supports.

Unlearning the BS: Healing, Boundaries & Burnout10 Jun 202601:47:09

INTERVIEW!

Miranda is joined by one of her clients (and soul sisters), where they dive into a deep discussion on the journey of healing. From meeting ourselves with awareness, high expectations, wearing the masks, burnout, and the growth that comes when we realize it isn't sustainable and we deserve to feel better.

Topics:

  • Wearing a Mask- How we 'cover' or 'mask' our big feelings, inner struggles, emotions and truths to keep our shit together as we move through our day. Whether it be in career roles, relationships or day to day environments. And also, how we even sometimes mask our inner shit from our ourselves to avoid honoring and processing.
  • Autopilot & Burnout- The surprising things that can create the feeling of overwhelm or heaviness in our body, and how it isn't always busy schedule. Living out of alignment, trying to prioritize too much (because we are told it should matter), carrying others emotions, people pleasing and more.
  • The Data Backlog- How much being in rooms, conversations or relationships that aren't in alignment can create so much data storage in the mind and physical energy
  • The Self Care Plate- The importance in finding balance in what we ACTUALLY need in each season, and listening to the body in what it needs for support. The variety of self care options can be endless and exhausting if we feel pressured to 'do all the things' instead of really getting honest and clear about what we need and where we want our energy to go in our practices of caring for self.
  • Learning to Unlearn-  Sometimes our ability to 'do all the things', always be productive, people please, help everyone, show up how others need or expect, and live in productivity and resilience becomes our flex. So much about healing is unlearning! We are allowed to grow, shift, change, rest and still be valued and loved. And finding compassion for the past versions of self that lived that.
  • Expectations in Healing- Its not linear! The ride of phases in personal healing from big expectations, to cracking open, being with your heart and big feelings, being in the inner work, isolating and then also finding community (sometimes a new one). And for some, connecting with their soul team, lost loved ones, and messages or signs from beyond those we can physically see. Its a fuckin ride!
  • Coming Home & Meeting Yourself- The beautiful journey in finding ease and peace with your heart, who you really are, contentment, comfort and alignment in solitude and the simple things in life. How to support yourself, live authentically and protect your energy around those who may not be able to meet or understand this different version of you, moving amongst the fast speed of world outside, and a journey of finding new 'like minded' community.

Living Your Own Way: Inner Wisdom, Relational Healing, Life's Sacred Mirrors & Why Things Must Blow Up to Align24 Jun 202602:23:29

A special episode with another one of Miranda Lee's amazing friends.

She is the friend that can be leaned into, has lived many similar chapters, experienced the hard seasons, which lead to diving into a ton of inner work and healing, meeting self and ultimately learning that it is safe to let go of the grip and trust (or else lol).

She is the friend Miranda Lee will have coffee with for over 5 hours, and always something to take away from what this incredible human has to share.

Topics:

  • Knowledge vs Wisdom- The discussion on learned and taught 'knowledge' that prioritize and told is what is right and valued, and the inner wisdom and 'knowing-ness' that can be gained in life experience itself. Beyond educational systems and getting certifications.
  • Trusting Within vs External Validation- Value in finding the people who can hold space for you, the vulnerability to be held, and ultimately being able to hold space for self and your own inner guidance.
  • Individuation & Containment- A discussion on the process of being able to distinguish who you are (your wholeness, shadows, flaws and desires), being able to then meet others where they are, relate, and then be able to exist as one. The people in our lives, and why they are on our journey and what we are to learn from them.
  • How Children & Relationships Are Our Biggest Teachers & Healers- The lessons and reflection our children can lead us through in our own inner wounds, emotional capacity (when we are open to allow this), and communication. How being vulnerable and open in emotions and communication as parents can help our children.
  • Why Things Need to Blow Up in Our Face- Being able to recognize when something isn't right for you, and how we process that. How amplified polarization (things blowing up fast) needs to happen so we can shift now vs stay the same.
  • Living Your Own Way- Finding your own prioritizes, values, and meaning in life rather then chasing our worth in what we are told we are 'supposed to' want and need. Meeting fear, reframing your life, and the art of letting go and recognizes that this moment is good and we already have everything we need.

Befriending & Demoting My Busy AF Mind: From Boss to Backseat17 Jun 202602:00:02

Here goes nothing.

In this episode Miranda Lee allows her BUSY brain to share its story, and her body to tell its side and speak for itself. A chat about how she needed to first understand her mind to then be able to shift it from being 'the boss', to connecting and allowing her body to take some lead.

Topics:

  • Awareness & Understanding of the Her Mind- The journey to discovering how much in the driver seat her overactive, ADHD-like mind was controlling her. How necessary it was to meet her brain and thoughts with compassion and curiosity, as an observer and chatty friend, rather then with judgment and trying to work against it.
  • Importance of Diving into Your Birth Chart- The value in learning about her full astrological birth chart and signs to get some understanding into her wiring (and you too). A 'cosmic snapshot' into how you navigate life, your personality, intellect, strengths, habits, soul lessons and direction, relationship, discipline and communication styles based on planetary alignment.
  • Somatic Connection & Experiencing- The life shifting relationship she built with her body, and learning how it communicates, its sensations, its voice, volume and language. And how it changes how she shows up for herself and expresses herself.
  • Practices & Tools for Support- Some of the ways she supports teaching her brain to take a back seat, and rekindling trust with her bodies ability to communicate and lead. And how sometimes her thinking thoughts need to be able to run wild.
  • Conversational Shifts- Navigating some tools and reflecting on what she has integrated into listening and speaking with others (and to herself). From active listening, holding space, anchoring or organizing her thoughts and putting them forward into speech (or not).
  • Somatic Experiencing & Grounding- The practices she uses to settle into the body and allow its voice to turn up and guide easier, while dialing down the thinking thoughts. And holding space for both.
  • Time & Tasks- Take aways and some tools she uses to stay in conscious awareness of 'time', managing her energy, and evaluating how many fucks she actually has to give.
  • Finding her Value- The importance of understanding we are more then our thinking thoughts, our productivity, our ability to multi task, and the numbers we pump out in our work or finances.

She will likely dive in deeper to each topic in future episodes.

Women Are Rising: Literal Birth Portals, Energy Workers & Holders of Deep Wisdom08 Jul 202601:38:23

Her bestie returns...Madeline @madlemontattoo is back for another chatty chat, as she moves through the FINAL trimester with baby 2. As usual, they dive into a ton of different topics, and definitely a bit more relatable for the ladies this episode.

**heads up, they do dive into discussion about their experiences in labor and delivery

Topics:

Pregnancy, Delivery & Connection- They dive into the difference in connection in first and second pregnancy, life after baby, and spiritual connection with souls and intuition and gifts during pregnancy.

Entrepreneurship- How they protect their time, worth & energy while navigating and balancing their business lives as women and mothers in very vulnerable, intimate jobs.

Energy & Staying Protected- Discussion into light and dark energy, the work they themselves do in these realms (and don't do), and some simple guidance and tips on how they protect, clear, wrap and protect themselves and their space...and how you can too.

Why Children Are Sacred- These two ladies are huge advocates for allowing children (who are pure source) to empower us, connect inward, feel deeply and do our own inner work to protect them vs make them change to fit us and the society we have created. Instead they are often seen as an inconvenience...and how we must allow them to question us, grow as parents, support them in challenging the norms, and making mistakes to learn how to navigate the world we live in.

How Powerful Women Are Rising (and how we are remembering)- As the systems collapse, the inner wisdom and experiences (in this life and past) that women are finding within, stepping into roles to support other women because they need to find their own answers, and sharing our knowledge to shift ourselves back into our power as healers and wisdom carriers.

Birthing Portals & Deliveries- TRIGGER They dive into some birth stories.

Miranda dives into a massive healing experience she previously had about her delivery, and how she needed to reconnect and do healing with the past version of herself that she left behind after labor. The ah-ha moments of that traumatic day and its connections she feels with her current body and the work she does now to support the traumas she believes she physically still holds.

Madeline speaks to navigating nightmares and her emotional triggers leading up to delivery and the experiences throughout her labor....and the struggles and frustrations she faced during.

Our Relationship with Money, Debt, Finances & 'Success'10 Jul 202602:14:08

Money$

A beautiful chat with Miss Aleah Anseth, a dear friend and Miranda's go-to photographer for her everything from personal family memories to studio and podcast marketing.  https://www.instagram.com/alte.studios/

These two small business entrepreneurs dive into their personal experiences in finances, healing work required with money, debt and investment views, and how they navigate their own financial journeys.

<WE ARE NOT FINANCIAL ADVISORS OR PROFESSIONALS, JUST TWO LADIES SPEAKING TO THEIR PERSONAL JOURNEYS WITH IT>

Topics:

Partnerships In Business- Aleah speaks to how her and her husbands partnership came to life, communication, family, and how they keep balance in life, marriage, parenting, finances and business.

Paying Off Debt- How normalized debt is, and upgrading constantly can feel like a trap/game in life...and how they personally decided it was priority to pay off their consumer debt, their steps and how they approached it, and then paid off their debt without having an excessive income.

Lifestyle Choices- A discussion on how no one is coming to save you. Ultimately, we must make choices for ourself. How our life circumstances in health and pandemic forced changes and taking risks to live a life that allowed personal health focus, financial adjustments, and freedom versus asking for permission. How the hard chapters shifted priorities, boundaries, intentions with money, rooting into entrepreneurship, and the outside pressures of what 'success' and constant 'upgrading' looks like and how it can be rewired.

Tools, Roadmaps & Suggestions- Diving into some of the tips, budgeting, methods, challenges, creating a road map and personal suggestions on how to start, stay motivated, adjust and find success. And acknowledging if we don't have a lot of tools, to just find community and avenues to learn more about budgeting, investing, saving, paying off and more that align with you.

Financial Healing & Emotions- Finances is a huge aspect of wellness, and the healing, reflecting, and processing required to meet yourself with when you 'feel like you failed'. How personal and emotional the journey can be, disconnecting from it being your value, and how you can also celebrate and shift your insight on you and your relationship with money.

Partnerships in Finances- Navigating finances in marriage and partnerships, how each partner has a different relationship with finances, and the importance in being able to talk money and work together (however that looks for you and your partner). And how we can get into hidden finances when there is shame or pressure, and how to empower each other.

Relationship in Money- How we talk about, prioritize, view it as energy exchange, and the flow of it in and out...and how spending and saving both need positive relationships and views. How we teach our kids about money, and how we talk to our kids about it to ensure positive relationships and better understanding with navigating finances.

Seasons of Finances & Debt- How different seasons of life invite different chapters of what we do with our money, how we spend it, when debt is acquired, and the different views on it at different ages....and its all personal. And what we learn in different seasons, and the lessons we can move forward with it.

She Thought She'd Do Cancer First | An Intimate Survivors Story05 Aug 202601:41:36

Guest Interview!

An intimate conversation with Kelsey Craig, a client and dear friend of Miranda's, as they dive into her very personal and intimate journey of long standing symptoms that eventually led to a diagnosis, treatment and now life beyond 'High Grade Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma' (Stage 1 Bladder Cancer) at the young age of 27!

So many take aways and heart warming messages (and validation) from Kelsey's story and amazing interview, including:

TRIGGER WARNING: THIS IS A PERSONAL STORY ON AN EXPERIENCE WITH A CANCER DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, AND THE VERY PERSONAL DETAILS AND EXPERIENCES. THIS IS NOT INTENDED FOR ANY MEDICAL ADVISE, AND IS SIMPLY TO SHARE  A SOULS JOURNEY.

  •  Age is just a number- When the reality of facing a health concern approaches you so early in life
  • The Lense Change- How the way you navigate and view life changes in a beautiful way after walking hard lines with life and health
  • Navigating it All- From normalizing and downplaying symptoms, carrying shame of feeling like you 'did something wrong',  disconnecting from your body and putting on a smile
  • Advocating for Self- When you have had enough of the symptoms, need someone to belief you, GOOGLE for your own answers, and hope things will be 'bad enough' to get an answer and taken seriously
  • Diagnosis- The vulnerability with self in facing reality and being emotional, facing medical procedures, and being 'rare' in the age and condition you are facing (and almost the one they will get answers from)
  • Balance- The hard walk of being friends with sarcasm, positivity but also needing to connect and feel realism about your situation. Feeling it all, thinking it all, and coming back to the now.
  • Keeping some Normal- Moving through your treatment options, your privacy and sharing, keeping some normalcy, accepting support, and sitting in your pity while also trying to be 'normal'
  • Meeting Others- The balance of privacy and sharing the news, others opinions and comments, stupid comments that aren't meant to be ignorant, and keeping the 'elephant in the room' not the topic of all conversations
  • Life on the Other Side- What changes in your relationship with self, views on life and how you move through your day, self care, and relationships with others, in marriage, and boundaries.
  • Community- The importance of having the people who can support you, keep things easy and normal, and relatable community that is on a similar standpoint, treatment approach and headspace. How its great to have others walking the same path, and also keeping distance if its creating fear and negativity.

Redefining Success in Seasons: Honoring Your Parts & Changing the Narrative29 Jul 202601:15:55

A more reflective, meet your parts, journal prompted conversation to invite you into the body, your heart, parts work, and likely emotions! Pause to journal, talk to yourself along with her, or take with you whatever you need to reflect on as you move forward.

If we don't stop to reflect, redefine and reassess success along our lifetime, it can feel like a mountain with no end in sight. Or we can meet the things we define as success, and just move on without celebrating them.

Under the energy of the Full Moon in Aquarius, Miranda dives into it all.

Topics:

What Got Us Here: What prompted Miranda to dive into the topic, and some of the experiences, words or reflections that have led us here today.

Q. Whens the last time you stepped your awareness back to view you and your life from the outside? (As an observer)

Meeting Your Parts: Bringing awareness, space and curiousity to what comes up emotionally, what we physically sense, what opens or what guards as we move through todays discussion.

Q. Who have you had to be for so log that it became 'you'. Who wants to take their place now?

Messages of the Moon: The insights, guidance and inventions by the energy of this moon, this season, and what you can learn from yourself in it.

Q. What did you used to trust about yourself that you now protect (even if it shouldn't be leading anymore)?

Success.... Taking an opportunity to sit with what it means to you, how it feels, how you know you achieved it, and if it ever changes. A chance to reflect on it, the chapters you navigated, and how 'success' tags along and sometimes feels like a cling to something that becomes a distraction or leads to a feeling of failure. Miranda walks through her chapters, what influenced her feeling of whether or not she was successful, where she is now, how she viewed success up until today, and how its changed.

Q. What have you overcome, and what lessons did you learn because of it?

Full Circle: A discussion on some of Mirandas 'full circle' experiences this year, and this month, and how they empower her and now remind her of her healing and her success. And how they are very different then she would have thought if she hadnt allowed pause and time to hold space for it.

Q. What do/did I want to hear from someone, but it actually needed to come from within myself?

Reflection:

Q. Where could you cut yourself some slack?

Q. What don't you celebrate enough of about yourself and what you bring to the world?

The Way He's Wired: Inside His Mind (A Conversation with My Husband)22 Jul 202601:49:35

Its funny, its likely relatable, and a great episode to sit down with your friend, partner, husband or wife and discuss or answer these questions from your own perspective and experience while learning about yourself and your partner.

You all loved their last episode (its the most downloaded), and voiced relatability and great appreciation and understanding in some of the harder aspects and chapters they have navigated together in life.

Well, she is joined again by her husband, Alan. The chat this time is light and fun, and more directed towards Miranda (and women) wanting to understand her husbands (or men's) wiring, and give him some time and space to speak to his thoughts, perspectives and his way of carrying out life.

Alan's on the spot and a great sport about it, taking some time to answer a handful of questions Miranda has waiting for him to give HIS angle on (not speaking for other men). Some are her own, and some were submitted by listeners, or things that have come up in conversation with friends and clients.

****IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR TOPIC REQUESTS FOR UPCOMING EPISODE, SEND THEM THEIR WAY

Topics:

Reflecting on Our Past Episode: Miranda chats with her husband about some of the feedback she has received, what she has learnt, and speaks to the season they are currently in.

Q & A to better understand my Men (and maybe other men):  A variety of topics from what annoys each other about one another, marriage and relationship support, trying to understand how a man thinks, to deeper questions of what the little boy in him needed and why our souls have come together in this lifetime for.

In a world with so many trends, modalities, tools, gadgets, practices, and avenues to support your health, wellness and selfcare... its can sometimes feel overwhelming. And it can become an abundance of appointments, create a stressful list of 'things you need to do', a shame cycle if you don't, stretch you financially and start to feel like health and wellness can only come from external support and sources.

In this episode, Miranda dives into (even as a studio/gym owner, Holistic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, and Life Coach herself), 13 FREE, back to basics, simple things you can do to care for self. And how important it is to let your intuition and gut be your guide. To allow pauses, shifts, breaks, and changes in direction. And to remember, you aren't a checklist. You aren't a routine that has to be kept the same and always followed to a T. And your needs are always changing.

We are all built from different cloth, with a different instruction manual that truly is only able to be read from our own inner guidance and wisdom. And in different seasons, we need different things. Sometimes more, and sometimes less. And that its beautiful to get guidance and support through training, other practitioners, and paid for services....but its also to go back to basics to reset.

Lets dive into bringing it back to some simple, free, easy and important things (13 of them to be exact) that are easy to sprinkle in starting today!

Take what you want, leave what you don't. Don't even try take them all in one day, because again, you aren't a to-do list! And...it's all within your reach...in fact, its part of your birth right.

Raising Each Other: A Mother-Daughter Sit Down19 Aug 202601:03:45

A super casual Q & A conversation with a young lady Miranda respects and adores.

This episode she is joined by her daughter, and her insight and perspective as a youth on challenges they face, how they could make and impact what she would change in the world.

They also speak to the journey they have shared in working to establish a close, real, vulnerable and emotional feminine relationship as mother and daughter.

Back and forth questions, reflection, emotion and growth as far as parenting, support, life lessons they have learnt, what has worked well for them (or could be different), challenges they have faced, what they value in each other and more.

A little mother daughter sit down with questions you may want to hold space for your own inner child, with your own mom, or to just reflect about your own feminine relationships.

Is their relationship perfect? Absolutely not. But they treasure it, hold space for each other always, and their communication and openness is what they strive for. The growth, vulnerability and learning curve is part of the beauty in the road of relationships.
